Barnards Miniature Railway Visiting Engines Gala - Miniature Railway Britain Episode 59.
A trip out in my Lada Riva 1.5 E Estate to visit to the fantastic 7 1/4 Gauge Barnards Miniature Railway in Essex which was holding a Visiting Engines Gala on Sunday 30th October 2022.
There were 5 locos in steam, a couple of diesel locos and a traction engine.
The locos we see in steam are...
Garratt G2.
Newly built "Annum Perdita"
Thomas II "Christabel E Holmes"
Thomas II "Malandra"
and Lynton & Barnstaple "Yeo".
Diesels running were...
Mardyke built Hymek D7096 "Uncle John"
and PW1.
We also see some C2C Class 357s passing on the adjacent London Fenchurch Street to Southend and Shoeburyness Line.
We enjoy steam and diesel hauled rides as well as linesiding and finish with a spectacular double headed parallel run from Belvedere to Burtonshaw.
