It's been two months since I last uploaded a video to announce that Quilt Addicts Anonymous is going to close its fabric and notion sales to concentrate on pattern development and educational content.
I cannot thank you all enough for the outpouring of support we received in emails, comments and orders to help us clear our warehouse in about three weeks.
While that was all happening, my husband and I, with the help of our handy dads, worked to transform my basement from a ugly dark dungeon where toys go to die, to a beautiful, bright dream sewing space and playroom. This space is my family's new favorite place to be and I'm so glad we have it.
Not only did this move add a desperately needed 50 square feet to our tiny two bath, one bedroom home, but it also will allow me to continue filming and creating new content for all of you.
The entire project was completed in six weeks, while I was also working record hours to clear out the warehouse and running around after my kids who had just started school.
Then it took me another month to figure out where to put all my sewing and quilting supplies so it would be neatly organized so i could work without losing my mind in a mess.
