A casual afternoon visit to the Battlefield Line Railway for their Winter Warmer Gala. With three visiting locomotives; 5199, 4144 and 78018, this was certainly one of the busiest events the railway has put on.
I jumped on at Shackerstone, taking a trip up to Shenton and back to Market Bosworth, from there a quick break allowed a look around the station, before jumping on with 78018 for the final leg back to Shackerstone. Some filming, included the double headed 14:00 departure bought our day to an end.
