What I want; -The Italians+maps - Eastern Front (Stalingrad, Soviets,...) -Poland -D-day -the fall of Berlin -The French+maps And maybe also another game mode; *Invasion* , which should be there for "maps" like Omaha Beach, Poland, Berlin, somewhere on the Eastern-front, France,... I'd love a revisit to the African theatre, and Italy, being slightly overlooked theatres and an area I'm very interested in. The potential for maps is quite high, for example a similar beach landing style map to Iwo Jima for the landings in Italy at Salerno, and a similar map to Panzerstorm for perhaps El Alamein would be another fitting setting. Panzerstorm on breakthrough is a favourite map of mine, and combined with El Alamein would be something I'd love to see. There could also be potential for a Sicily map, something akin to one of the early maps in Sniper Elite 4 would be interesting with different elevation and underground tunnels. Personally I think the current maps don't capture the desert particularly well, although that may have more to do with the lack of authenic cosmetics than anything else. (Give us shorts!) Some more fitting stationary weapons for them, such as the German 88 and Nebelwerfer would perhaps help. Also an ability, much like uniforms, to have different coloured helmets would be a great idea, as currently you're stuck with either green or grey for the standard Helmets. Tan or white options would be simple enough to add, I would've thought. I'd also love to see Operation Market garden as an Airborne mode, but I suspect they'll be hesitant to return to the European theatre after the first year. Something for you 'Attention To Details' video @Flakfire. When you knee slide on the 'Twisted Steel, Grind' map. On the metal walkways underneath the main bridge, your rubber boots will make a squeeking noise as they slide along the metal.

Actually the Carrier assault mode started in the original BF1942, on the Coral Sea map. The objective was to be the first team to destroy the enemy Carrier. Except that the Carriers were stationary. On another note the Midway map was unique for the game in that you could pilot the Carriers and Submarines in a conquest style game mode.... it was a lot of fun to say the least, but hard to find fully populated servers.

Ooo if they do a map based on the oilfields of Romania, firestorm would be a good fit. But I would love them to use the map design of Daqing Oilfields from Battlefield 2.

I hope there will be a Soviet Expansion with all the classics and maybe with a map between Japanese and Soviets. I`d love to see D-Day and some battles in Germany and Italy at the End of the War. One thing that would be truly unique would be adding the Chinese. They were super important but are almost never in Games.

A bocage map, a Hurtgen Forest map, and a battle of the Bulge map would all be insane

That big, fat plane with the ball turret gun in back is an Avenger. It carried an aircrew of 3-4 (pilot, ball turret gunner, lower rear gunner and sometimes in the center of the cockpit an air strike commander or radio operator. As far as I know, it was the only torpedo attack plane to carry it’s payload internally (torpedoes, bombs or depth charges). It was a big ass plane and compared to early war attack planes (ie devastator/swordfish) it was fast and could take a beating before going into the drink). The SBD was a rugged, two man dive bomber and was THE plane that sank every carrier that the Japanese lost in the Solomons and off Midway and in many ways was superior to the Dauntless that started replacing it in 1943. Between the Avenger and the Devastator there is no comparison between the two other than that they both carried torpedoes. Whereas the Avenger had a lot going for it when it made it’s first combat appearance at Midway (flying from Midway itself), the Devastator was considered to be obsolete in December 1941. It was slow and unmaneuverable...one of it’s nicknames was “flying coffin.” Torpedo 8 from USS Hornet (CV8) at Midway was an all Devastator outfit and every one was lost in that battle without scoring a single hit. Appearance wise there’s no way you could mistake an Avenger for anything else but what it is unless you’ve never spent any time looking at pictures of these aircraft. That ball turret is a dead giveaway.

The oil refinery might be a spot for an announced game mode that when capturing certain objectives would allow for the team to gain abilities such as radio towers spotting or ammo deposit for tanks

That wasn't a Grumman Avenger in the photo though... it was a Douglas SBD Dauntless " Dive Bomber" I hope they add that to the game. Plus some F6F Hellcats while we're on the subject of Grumman.

Where is the Panther and Jagdpanther? What about the M5 and M3 stewarts and M3Lee and Grant. What about Panzer III and Panzer II. What about the P-51 and P-40. And the American Pershing. What about the Tiger II and American Chaffee. Or the M22 locust, and so many tanks for Britain like the Comet, Cromwell, Crusader, and Matildas. And also the American M10 Wolverine and M18 Hellcat. Or the German Ferdinand, Hummel, Wespe, Grille, Nashorn, Elefant, and jagdtiger

7:13, that's an SBD Dauntless bub, if it were an Avenger, the wings would be more central to the fuselage, plus there'd be an extra 30cal on the underside of the fuselage behind the wingspan. Looks like the U.S just got its first dive bomber

Would love to see the Battle of Midway! Lots of opportunity for many team Aircraft vs Aircraft and Aircraft vs Ship Team Play. Huge Air Combat with large groups of pilots would be something we have not experienced so far!

I want more war stories tbh. I love multiplayer but the war stories were such a cinematic way to experience the diverse theatres of war that battlefield have always tried to portray.

Honestly I was thinking of a game type that involved bombing campaigns, like one team would be bombers/ bomber escorts and the defensive team would try to knock as many out before they reach city limits

this made me dream like a child, about what this game could have been and could still be.

If a carrier assault game-mode was introduced I would like to see all damage player based, so bombing, torpedoes, artillery fire from shore based artillery (instead of capture points its fight for control of the artillery. Also torpedo bombers could carry bombs so it doesn't have to be limited to ship combat.

Tip top video Flakfire and I do have some suggestions for maps and vehicle's and weapons. First future map should be Saint Nazaire also know Operation Chariot or better known as The Greatest Raid Of All. This was a commando raid on the Saint Nazaire docks where 5 Victoria Crosses were won. The raid was to prevent the Tirpitz from finding a safe dock. The plan was to ram the dock gates with a ship filled with high explosive then the royal marine commandos would destroy everything they could at the dock then make it out before the bomb in the ship went off. The map would be of the dockyard with HMS Cambletown at the centre of the map ramed onto the dockyards gates and the map would have the U Boat pen and coastal guns and pill boxes. Now for vehicle's we would have the Royal Navy Vosper motor torpedo boats and Royal Navy Gun boats and the German E Boats and possibly U Boats. For fixed weapons German 3.7cm flak gun and German 12.7 cm coastal gun and German 88mm deck guns and a 12pdr deck gun on HMS Cambletown. Aircraft the Bristol Beaufighter and Ju88. Uniforms would be ACCURATE! Royal Marine commando uniforms and German Kriegsmarine uniforms. Weapons would be the return of the Lee Enfield SMLE mk3 and twin barrel Kriegsmarine flare pistol. Second map or maps would be El Alamein and Tubrok and Tunissia with the Matilda mk2 Tank also known as the Queen of the Battlefield and the panzer ii or panzer iii. And for aircraft the BF110 and vehicle skins the famous Tiger 131. D Day maps should be Sword Utah beach Gold Beach Omaha beach and Utah beach with HMS Warspite providing naval gunfire. Normandy maps such as Villers Bocage. Vehicle's such as the German King Tiger as the first time it was encountered in battle was in Normandy. The British Cromwell tank the German Hetzer or Marder tank destroyers the British Sherman firefly. Aircraft the British Typhoon and German FW190. And uniforms CORRECT AND ACCURATE British and German and American uniforms.

That's the Douglas SBD-3 Dauntless dive bomber in the artbook not the TBF Avenger. The Avenger has landing gear that fold outwards not inwards like on the illustrations, it also has a ball turret and has a mid mounted wing vs the Dauntless's low mounted. Also the Perforated dive flaps aren't found on the TBF. The second image isn't as clear so that might actually be an Avenger.

instead of the TBF/TBM and B5N, its most likely the SBD-3/5 Dauntless and D3A1 Aichi-Val since they were included in Bf 1942 and were all time favourites

Large maps with lots of Destroyed buildings. - Gives infantry lots of cover and enough space for tanks and planes.

You know what I want to see? Naval battles, with various vessels like Prinz Eugen, Duke of York, Z20 Karl Gaster (is that the name of it?) and U-150 (Type IX U-Boat)

The Carrier Assault mode might take place at The Battle of Midway. It’d make sense, not frequently shown (upcoming movie aside), was an intense naval battle, and was where the Japanese lost the momentum they started off with

They should add more maps and content in the French/European part of the war. I would love to see Normandy, Battle of The Bulge, also Russian content like Stalingrad, maybe even pearl harbour. Who knows, we could even get a D-Day or Battle Of Stalingrad war stories if this were to happen.

I’m gonna keep it 100, I’d like to see the Type 4 or Type 5 added for the Japanese. I’m a bit of a nerd and I like to use faction-specific weapons when I play (though I have to take liberties with some weapons, like the Karabin and Breda), and it kind of annoys me that there aren’t any Assault options for the Japanese.

My order for the upcoming updates would be: - Eastern Front (Volga River/Red Square of Stalingrad/Battle of Kursk) - Normandy (Pointe du Hoc/Carentan/Hill 262) - Fall of Berlin (Polish Border/Karlshorst/Reichstag)

I would love to see Romania added because it's such an overlooked country in the world wars and i think it could be really cool to see something like that.

they should add a pearl harbor defend/attack game mode or just a ofline mission from both sides and a midway naval map/ carrier against carrier game mode with ships and dive bombers and torpedos . i know it my not work in a battlefield game but still

The eastern front, the p-51 mustang and 1903 Springfield are all I want at this point.

Been staying away from Battlefield V for the last year for all the reasons mentioned early in this video. Might be time to take another look and jump back in. The price now is certainly right. Thanks Flakfire.

If we get alligator creek/battle of the tenaru then I’ll be so happy. Same if we get the avenger! It’s one of my favourite planes of WW2. I think we might see the US in the Mediterranean soon. Sicily keeps popping up accidentally in the UI, one of the Sherman skins is called ‘Husky’ perhaps a reference to Operation husky, the invasion of the Pacific. ‘El Alemain’ also hints at a North Africa map. I also wonder if we might see Monte Casino. It’s one of the only locations that we saw concept art for during the live reveal that we haven’t yet seen in the game. The concept art of the plane in a forest could perhaps be the jungle map.

I've got it, this is how they should balance AA. Make it have high damage so a handful of hits will take them out. Then make the turning controlled by a and d and elevation controlled by w and s, and make all the movement a constant speed ( its just stupid that you can do a full 180 in half a second). The turn speed would be significantly slower but it would be balanced by high damage. I think this would play out way better than the current system of controlling it with mouse because it would actually make it skill based instead of point and shoot.
