This is what happens when you have a revolving door writing team. Shit won’t make sense. Writer from episode 1: no one cares that the dope weren’t mine, the crows were dirty or I’m a decent human being. Writer from Episode 3: I run in the same circle as Victor Fuckin' Zsaz Writer from Episode 5: I had drugs in my damn purse, a crow showed empathy for me and I flipped him off showing the drugs I possessed.

"These drugs aren't mine. I was holding them for a friend." Man if judges and cops had a nickel for every time they heard that excuse from criminals. Lol these stupid writers couldn't even come up with a better story than that?

Kate Kane is Caroline Dries self-insert, that is why the show pushes the Kate worship so hard. This whole show exists to push woke bullshit, and stroke Caroline Dries ego as much as it possibly can.

Here's the thing, Ryan fails to meet either criteria to say that the law framed her for something she did not do. She DID have drugs, were part of criminal circles, ran with them, in fact. From what Thorias said earlier based on his review, she also did jobs for criminals, and knew of many crimes that were happening, but didn't report them. Best example would be with the candy lady. Long story short, she is a criminal at worst, or an accomplice at best. Either way, she has no grounds to talk down to anyone. Neither does the Batwoman writers, for writing her into such a character.

At this point would anyone be surprised if they had Mary flagellating herself before a shrine to Kate and praying for her blessing?

Alice is supposed to be the Villain, but she’s actually more human than about everyone in this “SHOW”

I think at this point the name of show should be changed to “We Worship Saint Kate Cane.” They made Kate the issue of this season instead of making it about Ryan. It makes you wonder if Ryan is really that interesting as they were advertising her to be. This show now wants us to believe Kate was this paragon of awesomeness that we never see. This show just makes me laugh how they try to tell these amazing stories of Kate that don’t her character from season one. I made the point before they don’t know how to write their gay black lead because she doesn’t ever seemed like the victim because she has to be strong all the time. These writers tried to make Ryan seemed the wild and hard to work with but everything the setup in the first episode has been totally fixed. She doesn’t live in her van and the plant relationship was over now. She isn’t poor anymore. She will soon have everything that Kate did. On a funny note, I can’t wait to find out that Alice’s backstory will included her curing cancer, feeding the children of Africa, the time she went to space and how she took a small country because the plot says she did. It is weird that they have to sideline their main bad person because we know that Ryan wouldn’t let Alice off as much as Kate would. These writers surely don’t know what to do with Alice or Jacob because their development has been crap this season.

Exactly what Season 2 needed: more focus on sexual preference. Honestly, these reviews are a million times more entertaining than the show ever could be. 👏

Notice that Angelic doesn't need to do anything to be forgiven by Ryan, but the Crows are damned for arresting Ryan despite the fact that Angelic is the one who could have cleared things up while the Crows had no reason to think Ryan wasn't breaking the law. To be fair, I can see why Ryan is pissed about Zippy's injuries. He was a criminal, yes, but he was only a thief, running away and presenting no threat to anybody, so hitting him with a car is definitely considered excessive force. The show needs to pick a damn side: Are the Crows a private security group that serves the highest bidder or are they a replacement for the police who respond to anyone breaking the law? And of course, without Kate here to whine that Alice is totally still savable, we need to give her a random love interest.

The only way in Hell that season 3 would get any viewers is if they fire Caroline Dries and replace her entire "Writing staff". 19:34 That scene was so bad. There was one guard just shooting at the ground and another guard was given no direction at all twirling around aimlessly. Also, Ryan's decision to go the illegal auction was dumb. If Sophie was doing surveillance, Ryan would have been busted for being Batwoman. The writing continues to not disappoint with their awfulness and the .493 viewership number for the week confirms it.

One thing that is funny about the end is how Ryan basically told them that she is leading the team at the end so listen to her, while at the same time having zero leverage outside of being able to fight in a billion dollar super suit. What I mean is that her job and home is given to her by Mary and were the property of Kate, Luke allows her to be Batwoman and use the gear and produces more parts if needed and repairs. See with Kate it makes more since, because she owned the building in Bruce's absents that Luke works in and Mary was her family that had a skill that could help her. So when Kate called the shots it was because she was literally the person in charge of all the finances and included people she trusted that could help, sort of. Also I wonder if the Safaya island love is a universe crossing thing and not a magic forget me potion.

I've seen enough DCAU (Batman The Animated Series to Batman Beyond) Justice League / Justice League Unlimited episodes that has Lex Luthor in it to know if Ryan doesn't get her kryptonite out of her and treated she will get Kryptonite Cancer and die (lex Luthor was lucky enough to have Brainiac there to kill the cancer)

I really appreciate your observations. You point out things I not only miss, or don't pay attention to, but things that I accept because of the writing of the show. I thought Wolf Spider looked like Kick Ass. Too bad, they could have gone the Young Justice route and made him some kind of rival/Spider-Man clone for fun. But they don't do things for fun or enjoyment. I just kind of let the show run in the background and shake my head from time to time. Like when they dropped all the SJW buzzwords. I'm looking forward to popping by for the Superman and Lois review. I love your insight.
