What Ryan doesn’t know is that one of the Batsuit’s greatest weaknesses is the Trumpet, Alice secretly has the home advantage as long as the group doesn’t find her special stash of them in the Batcave.

Actually blowing up Croc was one of the only smart things the police have ever done. Keeping these psychos locked up forever apparently does no good. Heck shooting Joker and just planting a gun on him would have saved thousands of people. Mary attracted to Luke? OH NO! That's straight stuff! They have to die!

I would imagine that people would to ask showrunner Caroline Dries questions about the plot holes and logic gaps, but according Clownfish TV she has all her social media platforms in private mode. Once the little girl spoke the "saintly" name Megan Rapinoe, her plot armor suit wrapped around her so tight, safe and secure. Didn't matter how deep Croc sunk his teethes in to her and how hard he yanked her away. Of course, this show never gave Croc's father and all the other men a chance. Not a mention of them from Vesper. Just joy from her about the little girl being safe. Luke getting touched with the stethoscope, being close to Mary and his heart racing was pathetic. Yes! Get them in to a romance to get them out of here now. LOL I almost thought Mary was trying to go lower to inspect his "package". So the guards knows Ryan is Batwoman???!! She might as well reveal her identify to the public now. Why couldn't Luke be the acting CEO?

Not entirely sure whether that show isn't a sitcom in disguise, frankly. A laugh track wouldn't make it any worse, that is for sure.

9:51 Neither will die but something Caroline Dries said about Poison Ivy's role in the season now makes sense. I think Poison Ivy will eventually put Mary under her spell like the bootleg Mad Hatter did in the last episode (You know because she's Bi so automatically it's going to be Mary) and Luke will fulfill his "Batwing" legacy by rescuing her. Or if the impossible happens and Luke is under Poison Ivy's spell, it'll make Mary become the hero. Either scenario is ridiculous but...

You said it, this episode was indeed a crock. They're just not even trying anymore, maybe this will indeed be the last season, would be a boon to all of us, especially you, Thorias.

Here's the best future episode in all 3 seasons: Bruce comes back to Gotham to just kick everyone out of the Batcave (especially, Mary).

W can see what Caroline Dries thinks of Bruce Wayne when she had Sophie quibbled about the bra size thing. Because we know she A, doesn't watch or read anything Batman and B, hates Batman. Like, I am not the biggest Batman fan and not much of a fan nowadays due to how Warner has written the character and portrayed him, but even I still know that the man treats the playboy thing as a mask and disguise, not the other way around. P.S. Don't do it Thorias, don't get your hope up. If you do, Caroline Dries will appear and create a season 4 of Batwoman, even if it is just 1 episode, just to spite you by having Mary and Luke show up as a married couple who will live to the ripe age of 150.

As far as Batwoman bingo goes, I think you missed a few spots. Bad acting goes with the CW territory, so that should pretty much be a free spot every week. Personally I cringe at Mary every week, both character and actress alike. Next, the no effort spot should’ve been checked due to Croc’s makeup. That bs was so low effort that it was no effort.

Thank you Thorias for getting through this weekend episode so we don’t have to endure the same pain that you went through with Batwoman. The production of this show is truly a nightmare to be in. Literally both the production timing and Ruby Rose were a nightmare to begin with.

I wonder where they found writers. After watching Thorias suffering through 2 seasons of this (and watching few episodes myself) I do not believe that such bad writing is anything close to accidental. It’s a work of people with vision. You simply cannot fail at basics that consistently without having talent and determination to do this.

I truly believe Caroline Dryes knows she's not getting a 4th season (was lucky to somehow get a 3rd) and knows no one seriously enjoys this show, so she just isn't trying anymore to make anything make sense logically or comics wise

They ruined Killer Croc, next will be Mr Freeze and then Professor Pyg I really hope they don’t drag anymore of Batman’s rogues gallery into this show for cheap fan service after they introduce Poison Ivy

Magic tooth? At the risk of being that “in the comics…” guy, but in the comics Killer Croc had a bizarre and mutated version of the real life skin disorder Ichthyosis Vulgaris. And, for the sake of argument, if this magic tooth did exist, Batman would have the wisdom of either destroying it outright or giving it to STAR labs and keep it under strict lockdown instead of his trophy case. I should at least be thankful that there is a Batman anecdote that shows him in a positive light.

I've only seen the first 15 minutes of the first episode, so I have little idea what you're talking about, but I absolutely love that you go in-depth to watch and discuss a ridiculous show that you hate.

I would like to thank Thorias for suffering though this so I don't have to.

I mean, to be fairrrrr... the Batman Beyond suit also had a shutdown mode where it would stop the user from moving, and when Bruce triggered it remotely from the Batcave, Terry was in the middle of a fight and the suit froze up on him, causing him to get beat up. However, that shutdown was for if someone STOLE the suit, so they couldn't go on a rampage, so the only reason the show's suit would shut down "if the wearer got hurt" is if it shuts down in case Luke's arm gets broken or something. Having it shut down would stop the suit from say, twisting around and breaking his arm further during movement, otherwise it would basically be an F:NV Trauma Harness walking around with a skeleton inside after a while, haha.

Good work again, Thorias! 2:15 Has got to be my fave higlight in this vid, pretty much sums up the production, it's company and the general direction of our entertainments going due to liberal media 🤣 Good god, I hope the series spares us from the "reveal" that Ryan Wilder is acshully Bruce's ugh kin🤢 You can partly get over the trauma from this series temporarily when you get to watch Dune!

So, Ryan, who for some reason, is the acting CEO of Wayne Enterprises, tells the CEO of a different business she's her daughter... Which means that woman would be able to take over Wayne Enterprises.

Wait a minute if Alice was released on terms that she didn't break why did they send her back also how can Luke not beat her? God this show is terrible

I love how they try to explain that Alice is still part of the show. It's like... Assmask-Mouse is dead, Kate and Jacob are gone, so Alice has basically nothing to do anymore. The whole REASON for her being there is gone. So the writers are just like... "Weeeell, she killed Ryan's mother. Oh and... and... right, Monotya ordered her to cooperate with Batwoman! For... reasons! That's why she's there! So Rachel, pls go on and carry the show for us, will ya?!"

It's sad to think this doesn't measure up to a common Soap Opera

Batman joined the JL, leaving Gotham to Commissioner Gordon and the GCPD, who aren't incompetent morons. They are capable under Gordon's leadership. They just need some help where the law can't reach. Nightwing left for the Titans. Kate Kane returns to find an underground of threats in Gotham. She goes to the batcave to find her suit(the actual one she built)(not Batman's refitted one, sans that shit line about "it will be literal perfection when it's fitted for a woman), but is hesitant to put it on because she sees her killer past, the same past Bruce inspired her to change through justice. Luke has been discharged from the army, and dealing with his own PTSD. Kate takes him under her wing, him becoming a friend and ally, since she's gone through it after Beth and her mother died. Her father is working on mending his relationship with Kate. He is searching for the people responsible for the kidnapping and murders, and wants to pull her back into the investigation, but she is busy in Gotham. Barbara went to college after being paralyzed. Tim Drake is doing his own crime fighting, eventually teaming up with Kate. There's more detective work and crime fighting first, helping people second, personal lives third. No feminist woke propaganda. No belittling the male characters. I wrote that in a matter of minutes. It's how I pictured Batwoman being written. Cw, that's compelling character development. I'd watch that story with a great cast and stellar CGI and makeup, but I wouldn't want them anywhere near it.

So Kate (Ruby) knew her plane would crash, and Ryan would replace her, Kate (Ruby)? Or was it the recasted Kate (whats her name) who made Ryan the CEO? If so, How, when everyone thought that Kate (whats her name) was dead? Can dead people appoint CEOs? Man, am I glad I never watched a single episode of this mess.

OK so I officially binge watched the entire playlist of vat woman reviews. I've only been subscribed to your channel for about a week and I Just wanted to say that you did a fantastic job. Dare I say this is nearly as good as the Plinkett prequel reviews, keep up the good work!

Well, guess Talia isn't Ryan's mom. At least not yet. We still have the rest of the season to find out. I'm still betting that Bruce is her baby daddy, though. Ryan being the heir to the Wayne estate is definitely something the writers would do.

Also I love how Killer Croc's skin in the comics is supposed to be so tough that he is basically invincible but just normal stuff can hurt this bitch ass fake. And honestly the fact that thermite killed the og Croc makes no sense. That shouldn't have killed him. Was there ever any love interests before this episode between Luke and Mary? Because what it sounds like is that he got abs and she suddenly became interested. Imagine a girl losing weight and then the guy becomes interested. They'd spin it off as "you didn't like me then as I was so you can't like me now". I haven't watched this episode myself(nor do I plan to) but the situation sounds scuffed from people supposedly fighting for equality.

Last week they didn't bother to make new sets and just reused old ones. This week they can't be arsed with basic make-up... They are REALLY running out of funding, lol..

I don't understand why is it so common for TV show writers to keep the season 1 villain around past the first season and give them a redemption arc that lasts for 2 or 3 seasons. This happens in: HEROES Teen Wulf Batwoman Arrow And more. Am I the onlyone who fides this to be annoying?

Like Bruce, if he were in public, might have pretended to care about that as part of his secret identity. But Sophie tried to make it seem like if Batman needed information he would make a joke... which is stupid. Also lol when they inevitably end up making Ryan Batman's daughter ill be jumping off the roof of a tall building without my grappling gun lol.
