Bayonetta 3 Review: Imagine Boycotting Such a Fun Game 

You can give the summons up to 2 commands to execute. You can attack while they are executing and just start dancing again to give them more commands. Rinse and repeat. You don't really need that item to control them.

I spent 20+ hours in the game and didn't even notice the environment graphics quality

I'm having a blast! Though I'll admit I remember more minor enemy fights in the previous entries. Kinda miss that. The controversy was interesting and revealed a lot about folks. Saw a few very vocal folks slink back into the shadows after more info came to light.

When i play this on the switch, i can hear the fan BLASTING and that really says something about the work the switch has to do to pull this off

I'm about 70% done and I am loving Bayo 3. Definitely a great entry in this series. So far it's a 9 out of 10 for me personally.

Usually we have similar views on gaming stuff, but I just can’t justify that ending man. Like I’m surprised after the controversies with the game, the ending WASN’T another controversy which it should be. It reminds me of TLOU2 and Rise of Skywalker I agree with you with the trend of new characters being Mary/Gary Sues, and the ending still kills it for me even if they “humble” her because I don’t find cocky characters likeable. We do differ on multi-verses, I’m personally tired of them and think it’s played out. Especially since the first two games never implied a multiverse and instead had another trope called causal loop where the events of Bayo 2 make it so the events of Bayo 1 happen This game has too many things I dislike in modern media, so my Masquerade Edition will likely be staying sealed while I play other games in my backlog

I got both physical copies of 1 and 2 and just picked up my box collectors of 3 and yet still haven't played either of them (a little of 2) but that xenoblade 3 had been eating me up as of August. Also splatoon 3 I'm yet to play.

I think it’s because hack and slash games also need to justify a 60 dollar price tag. Usually they’re only about 10-12 hours,and though replayable there should be a lot more than that. KH2 was a little ahead of it’s time even though being an ARPG,it still was a hack n slash game and gave players a lot of play time to mess around with in the worlds.

I would be more excited for a switch 2 if most all backwards compatible games get exclusive updates.

From what I understand in this controversy the original voice actor of Bayonetta wants to be paid a lot more money for Bayonetta 3 but Platinum games refused and replace her voice actor but Platinum games offered her the voice as a cameo role but she declined. she got so upset that she won't be voicing Bayonetta she attempted to sabotage a Bayonetta 3 by telling people to boycott it but it backfired badly.

This game feels like the mass effect 3 of the Bayonetta franchise tbh. The game was good-ish..? Idk

It's a weird ride, this game is weird, especially compared to the first 2, but I'm having a blast playing through it. I'm only halfway in and can't say if I like it more than 2 yet but it's definitely one of the best games I've played this year and I've played some good ones already

Gameplay wise, this game is absolutely fantastic. Dare I say, it’s the best in the series. But man, the story seriously pissed me off at the end. It was not earned in the slightest, and felt like a slap in the face. (No spoilers here.) If you don’t care about that stuff, you’ll love it. But if you’re a fan of the lore, be prepared…

i stopped playing it, it was kinda boring 7/10 while second was a point higher, everything was worse except graphics

i wonder if everyone here would change their tune once they reached the ending o_o probably feels great all the way through for newcomers but this game is a hard pill to swallow for fans of the first two games i mean that from the gameplay front too, what makes bayo series interesting to me is chemistry between player character and enemies, but 3 doesnt seem to think about enemy design at all, focusing instead on giving the player a variety of wonderful tools, but not really having much use for most of them...?

That ending wasn't really such a fun ride, also I think it's funny that the controversy sold the game more

Yes a switch to would be even better but you're going to have to wait a long time before you get it upgrade for the switch you might have to wait like one or two years maybe three

I think as far as frame rate and visual quality goes, the game for the most part is fine. But if this were not exclusive to Nintendos hardware and we had this on PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Series S/X, and PC, the game would just look and feel so much better.

Thought this game was great, but I enjoyed 2 a lot more because it was much better paced than this game is. And there’s actually hit stun

the reason it probibly has SO MUCH STUFF, is because this game was originally going to be an open world game.

i really do believe devs should make games within the scope of their respective consoles so users can have the best experience, i feel like bayonetta 3 is doing too much for that tiny cartridge, maybe what we should be discussing is a switch 2 nintendo is being too content with this old hardware customers deserve better and you know for sure this will get a remaster on it lol

Honestly, the shift in VA was an improvement. Listening to them back to back it is clear who has the most experience in the business.

Honestly I don't think that they need a switch to I think this need a midget upgrade a Nintendo switch Pro so this game could run better I think a pro would be more sufficient but they're not going to do that

I got 60fps and 4k on my pc. Sad that nintendo has to keep up their gimmick bandwagon when they can just make a good console.

The frame rate is a meme, and this is a fast paced game. Will grab it on the Switch 2/Pro or whatever they call it.

Great game and love the new demon slave system but... the art style isn't very good (specially the lighting), Viola is bad character(design, personality and gameplay), the story is pretty bad, not weapon combination and no pickup weapons, and most of the cutscenes feels stiff. Bayonetta 3 is fun game but not the best of the trilogy, is 8 game.

Bayonetta 3 is yet another stellar action game from Platinum! I love the demon summoning, the combos feel as fun as ever, and I really like the new character Viola and her Cheshire demon! All in all, I’m impressed and can’t wait to see what else Platinum does! I’m hoping for an Astral Chain sequel! Oh Helena Taylor. She’s done so much to sell the game from lying about pay and exploited people’s respect for her, insulting another voice actor who had no part of her beef with Platinum, lied about one of the most respected developers, and to top it off the charities she listed to donate to for any nonexistent boycotts included an anti trans group and an anti abortion group. There’s no chance she’ll get any roles after her stunt. She harmed what could have been a genuine labor movement or call to action for voice actors to receive better pay, and then she lied the entire time.

I didn’t like the ending either. I dislike it so much that I’m don’t want to replay the game again. 😮
