There's a tight spot when the machine is turned over and I the problem is tracked down.
The Bernina Record 830 can suffer from a few issues where the plastic gears fail, such as the cam stack gear and the vertical shaft gear and cam (if plastic).
Look out for Part 2 where I fit a new hand wheel and put the machine back together and test it.
