What if in dmc5 they go full metal gear and nero gets his arm back, buts its controlled by Vergil's spirit. Then everytime he meets dante he just spasm out and start yelling "brothaaaaa!"
The best walkthrought is always the one there a person(s) playing are excited about the game. Or the other ones that make you go insane (read: Homecoming/Indigo Prophecy)
Dante: Hey kid, don't do anything about that stone structure that was about to unleash a whole swarm of toad demons. That's my job after your story half ends and I'll be Real Motivated!
to be fair..... THEY WORSHIP A LITERAL DEMON. THEY ARE FULLY AWARE OF WHO AND WHAT SPARDA WAS!!!! glowing red eyes dont mean shit to these people. they probs think that a divine revelation going on or something. and to be fair, these assholes learned to harness, direct, convert and absorb demonic energy and souls to the point they literally create devil triggers for themselves. thats actually pretty god damn radical.
True enough. It's just that Credo seems like the one person who would be put off by that; Sanctus is evil but plays up the 'holy man' motif to his followers, his followers (obviously) are all ignorant of his true nature/already demons, and Agnus just wants to do mad science. Credo is like this game's Yasha; he tends ignore the obvious red flags given off by his superiors until they cross a certain line and finally force him to admit "yeah OK these people are evil."
well..... Credo honestly thinks using demonic energy turned him into an angel so.... cant exactly say he's all there.... and he was fully aware of the plan and only turned against them when Kyrie got involved.... he had no issue with all the other demons killing everyone and he knew exactly what was going on atleast by the time Nero got to the forest.... and we dunno how long he has been an "angel" as well.... coulda been one from the beginning of the game for all we know. so to be honest Credo is as much of an asshole as the other dudes, just his brotherly love was stronger than the douchbaggery in the end. and like with Yasha, it still didnt rescue him for me -.- (i enjoy Yasha and he is one of the biggest bro's and certainly a badass among badasses. but he is a HORRIBLE brother and uncle. god damn i hate him but love him at the same time. and these guys need to do a Asura's Wrath LP god damn it. all three of them. the hype would be palpable! hell the art could be Weyzen pat against Woosura with the girl holding baby Matt with his skull cap, would be awesome)
OK, admittedly, I had forgotten a few details of this game's plot. I thought that Credo was transformed part-way through and he wasn't totally aware of the details of his boss's plans, but yeah, nevermind. Also, as much as I'd love to see them do Asura's Wrath, I seem to recall them all having differing opinions on the game. If you want a really hype LP of that game though, check out the playthrough YoVideogames did on their channel.
4:15 Remembering when Woolie turned down a threesome for games. Bless up. Also Mephisto and Faust are sick designs but Sin Scissors just feel better to fight. Glad they're gonna be back in 5.
I used to love the Mephisto enemies, but then that secret mission happened (You know the one), and they became the bane of my existence. I will forever hate them...
the one where platforms appear and disappear, well you can do it with dante pandora in gunslinger so just fly there, or that royal guard one, becouse fuck that one
@@BobtheX Woolie turned down a threesome with 2 extremely sexy bisexual women because he had to go get a copy of MvC3. Look it up on youtube if you want, the story is recorded on video
It's actually no joke, these DMC playthroughs got me excited for Devil May Cry 5 so much that I went back and replayed the first three games, and played 4 for the first time. I'm now fucking stoked at the mere concept of DMC 5 because of these two Canadian style beasts.
@@DaedricPrinceofDoom Grab the enemy with Buster (B on X360/One, circle on PS3/4), then mash the button. You'll get a couple of extra hits (extra lance thrusts on Bianco Angelos, spins on Frosts, ground slams on Assaults) and with them - more damage and more style points. It only works on a handful of enemy types and I'm not sure if mashing increases damage on boss finishers (it doesn't seem to change the animation).
4 episodes in and it seems like they forget to mash B or O to either spin the Frosts longer or stab the Armored knights more often to increase the Style meter
Mashing the Buster button gets you longer Buster animations- depending on the enemy I'm pretty sure you can get some unique animations out of it, too. Woolie doesn't seem to be doing it, either because he doesn't know or because he doesn't want to spend extra time in a buster animation and risk getting hit.
Woolie PLEASE do a Vergil playthrough on LDK on either this or your own channel. What are you talking about they made him look more like Vergil in 5. First of all they used real peoples faces for the models in 5, and secondly Dante and Vergil are identical twins so he looks no different from Dante.
I think in an interview it was stated somewhere the they wanted Nero to look more like Vergil to help drive home the point that Vergil is Nero's dad but I'm not 100% certain. However I did see a comparison image between DMC5's Nero and DMC4:SE's Vergil and they do look very similar. A few of Nero's facial features look more similar to Vergil's (and by default Dante) and his shorter haircut gives off a small Vergil vibe to me. (Some people for some reason thought Nero's haircut is the same as the one the DmC reboot's donte had but that isn't correct. The DmC reboot donte had a more of a Mohawk look while Nero has a normal haircut.)
@@FoxNinja4000 Oh I know, but the point I was making is that Dante and Vergil are identical twins and therefore even if Nero looked more like Vergil, he'd by proxy also look more like uncle Dante too. I think the hair cut for 5 is way more of a nod to his dear ol'Dad.
@@morganpeshe1732 are they realy identical twins? And i went to school with identical twins, they dont look 100% equal, u can say Who is Who After a Few days
@@kimmedavid Yes they are 100% identical twins. In DMC3 when you fight Vergil in the rain they make it a point to show that aside from hair style differences they look exactly the same. Also Identical twins can choose to look different from one another to feel more like an individual, however if they were they'd still have the same defining features.
After seeing Nero and Gloria and this boss fight I have concluded Dante vs Nero part 2 will be Dante: All women are queens Nero! Nero: If she breathes sHES A THOOOOOT!!!!
@@JeedyJay Yes, but it _always_ works. There are never gonna be a shortage of men willing to put their dick in strange. Just look at the sudden surge of Monster Girl content over the last couple of years.
*Adrian The Vulture* Not sure I would say sudden, allot of them are just coming back cause people are getting back into mythology and digging around in folklore that haven't been cool in a while.
Pro tip if you just put in the 2nd gyro blade you get behind the wall and go into a room leaving the gyro blade u orignally used to open the wall it'll automatically be where its suppose to be to open the boss door
Fun fact, orb score does NOT require style to get more orbs from enemies, in fact enemy orbs do not even count towards the score. You only need orbs from secret spots and destructibles, and only in rooms you've visited during the mission
I've never cared about Devil May Cry in the slightest but because of these LPs (and the knowledge that 5 is coming out soon) I bought 4 SE on the PS4. It is... hard to get used to. Really fun though
Got 4 tried it out, got the shit kicked out of me, quit. Got into Ninja Gaiden, thought they kinda fall under the same umbrella, tried again got kinda lost, or maybe a secret mission I wasn't supposed to be in got me, don't remember, kinda just forgot about the game though. I'm getting kinda into this though, so if now isn't the time to give it one honest attempt, then it might be lost to me forever. I can't keep living a life where I think DMC is hella cool and not play any of the games.
So the thing with Devil May Cry is it fucking sucks to play initially. After some time you start to "get it" or get used to the awkward controls and it becomes the most fun thing in the world but there's definitely an adjustment period. I remember dropping DMC3 around mission 9 cus I was getting too pissed off at the roll controls. (Which is one reason I don't recommend Trickster for new players, because getting used to rolling after spending half the game with one-button dodge literally got me pissed off enough to quit for a while)
Capcom DMC 4: okay guys we have this new character Nero and we are going to subtly hint that he's Vergil son. Capcom DMC 5: okay being subtle didn't work. Let's have have look more like Vergil.
Watching this LP made me go and re buy the game after not playing it since 360. Playing the special edition has made me realize this is one of my favorite games. Its so hype!!!
With regards to the style ranking parameters, time is absurdly easy to S on almost every mission in the game regardless of difficulty, so long as you aren't dying and continuing a lot. You have a lot of room to do all the orb stuff. Speaking of which, the orb percentage is based on the rooms you enter and not some preset amount, which basically means if a room isn't part of the natural path through a mission, you don't have to go out of your way to go there for orbs. I think 95% is the cutoff for S in all the missions. Certain levels get a bit monotonous when going for orbs (the castle lobby, for instance), but it's generally not that bad once you know where all the hidden caches and destructibles are located. The red orb crystals you wail on to get orbs don't count towards the percentage, for the record.
The thing they don't mention is that the Mephisto enemies aren't just a callback to the DMC1 "Sin" enemy type, but that they are basically Sin Scythes mixed with the Blood Gargoyles from DMC3, as after either shooting them enough or using Snatch they go into a helpless state like the gargoyles stone form. Which in this case is a skeletal form. So they're actually two past enemies combined.
It’s actually Daniel southworth doing the voice of credo, who in dmc3 was the voice of Vergil. Kinda weird. He does sound a little like frank west tho I’ll give you that.
I think he's referring to DMC3 concept art. Vergil looks a bit different than Dante and he has a very devilish strong chin like DMCV's Nero. Slightly shorter hair than the in-game anime hair too.
Pat: i forget, does LDK mode give you more proud souls? Woolie: *unknown, possibly creaming his pants gutteral noise* proud souls...... Pat: so thats the way to go then ........ kay lol for real though, one run through LDK mission 2/3 and you get thousands. like for real, it's insane. cause the amount of souls is based off how many demons you kill and your style doing it. also gives insane redorbs too.
I mean I started playing 4 again now. D.M.D. Is really hard. I only just got past Credo. The mission before him sucks, despite how much I like Echidna. I recently learned the art of staying up with your gun, a skill essential to getting past the Mephisto platforms, really useful against him. Also the R trigger gun tip is really good, thank you. Also I suck with Dante, I can get no farther than Bloody Palace 24 with either of them and Berial, BP 20, keeps tanning my keester.
So can the compilation for this lp have crazy talk go off when pat says "Dante can do this naturally" only to immediately cut to footage of him getting the talisman back as Dante?
I actually started up DMC4SE again after watching the first 3 parts of this LP, but because I've been playing nothing but Yakoozie Games for afew days I'm not getting used to the DMC controls :(
That's a pretty good idea, I'll give that a try. Then I just have to get used to the dodge roll being left and right only unlike the quickstep in Yakoozies.
the first time i saw a video of the best friends all together, i thought pat was crouching down or standing on his knees as a bit, but then it zoomed out and no, he really is just a widdle teddybear man
CHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN Well, i mean, i knew pat was short. i was referring to how he's depicted in the art for this series. unfortunately, i dont have 6 pairs of eyes to notice these things.
Did you know that when you buster an enemy that Nero fucks up more than once as his buster animation, if you mash the buster button, Nero fucks them up even harder?
Ok i did NOT know about the ice on bael's head, but did you know, that the girls are vulnerable to being grabbed when they are attacking if you time it right, which also makes them a lot closer to being in the weakened state where you can use them to pull bael. Edit: after few seconds of posting this, they actually did the timed grab thing, that was.. awkward HAHA!
@CHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN Rude? What's your deal lmfao they could have named either of those toads completely different names, it's a neat little nod to DMC while still being a legit demon name. They could have chosen "Anat" to be the Toad in Bayo but they chose Baal instead. Get over yourself.
"We're not gonna get enough proud souls to get all the moves" pat says. as if he's not prepared to do a full run of the game at home JUST for more proud souls.
22:18 funny Pat should say that since I actually started playing the DMC HD collection 2 weeks or so before they started their DMC1 LP so I got extra hyped when they started uploading it, though I'll admit the LPs pushed me to finish them faster and buy 4 earlier than I was going to
@@redhellreaper9421 subhuman is awful what are u talking about theres a reason why itsuno is changing it also i hate to say it but devil trigger>devils never cry>never surrender>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>sub human
Dante needs the demon crystal to use those pads too. Nero leaves it in some thing before he fights the statue, then Dante picks it up in the next mission
Not ONLY did this LP inspire me to buy DMC 4 SE, but it did so just as it was 70% off in the PSN store, $7.49 for hours of fun, seems like a deal to me!
