Absolutely! Ozzy was used to be the show before Jake E. Lee came in. You can bet your ass the man’s presence didn’t fly with Ozzy.

I watched a show of Jake's latest band on You Tube at a very small club. After the show a fan asked Jake what happened with Ozzy. Jake said Sharon promised him everything without Jake signing a contract. After Bark at the moon was recorded Sharon brought out the contract. Jake said this isn't what you promised me. What if I don't sign this? She said we will get another guitar player and give him credit for your work. Jake said I sure the hell wasn't gonna let that happen. Jake shrugged his shoulders, held up his hands and said what do you do? He went along with it. No song writing credits and didn't get paid either. Before the next album, The Ultimate Sin, Jake made sure he had a contract in his hand before he wrote or recorded anything. Then he left after the Ultimate sin tour. It makes me wonder where Randy Rhoads royalties went to, probably straight into Sharon's bank account.

Absolutely my friend,, I absolutely agree,, jake was the key,,, and he had amazing moves to go with what he was playing, top of the tree, he's the star, 🌟,, no matter who ozzy could get after, they couldn't fill Jakes boots,,, Sharon is money grabber,, take deserved better,,

Same here, as much as I love Randy, Jake injected the sex into Ozzy's music and was just a wild player on stage, the quintessential 80s hot guitarist Ozzy needed

Donovan Edwards, just like I told that other dude a minute ago I take Jake over Randy every day of the week and twice on Sundays. And he was a very good friend of mine so I'm kind of biased but I take Dimebag over all of them

I completely agree. I wouldn’t say ANY rock/metal guitarist is better than Jake. As good, yes. But Randy isn’t one of them. Jake live is an experience like Lynch was when he was going crazy with his solos live

But Jake had one huge flaw he can barely play melodic randy mixed the best of both worlds all jake does is shredd and bend love him but hes not at talented as randy. If randy was still around he would be alot better

Rhoads' solos are masterpieces that can almost stand alone, apart from the song. The best Lee can do is mostly mindless shredding. Rhoads' solos are finely constructed statements.

Some people don't see their luck. I thought Dio with Jimmy, Vinnie and Vivian had an amazing band chemistry; they never got that magic back after Campbell was fired and the other two soon left.

I loved and still do love everything Randy Rhoads, he was the one that myself and all my friends absolutely were amazed and left breathless seeing him live and loving his small examples of studio masterpieces . But Jake, Jake is so damn original and technically adept that it is jaw dropping, spine tickling good from a fellow guitarist point of view. Jake E. Lee = Beast on 🎸 .

People forget that Randy was playing the way he did with Ozzy back in the mid 70’s. Randy and Eddie were contemporaries. Had Randy made it first, he would be where Eddie was. Randy created the way metal players continue to play to this day. His use of exotic scale and his compositional skills were that of a true composer. He was light years ahead of his time. Jake is a master, he is an impeccable player and he is among the best to ever do it. But without a Randy’s genius, there would probably be no Jake in the mainstream music. Randy broke new ground, he was overtaking Eddie and creating the Neo classical guitar. Randy was a bright shining star.

Jake had a caustic personality grade as compared to Ozzy's 95 IQ bwain, in all seriousness. Jake was more fixated on ability, normality as life could render in that atmosphere.. No Ozzy wanted a Boozin brawlin butt buddy, a snortin suckin selfless snack-cake and JEL could not assimilate, it wasn't him. Plus you know the game, all lies down a primrose path then before it's done you have gone thru 4 peoples (if ya wanna call Ozz's lawyer wife a people) agreements then you get 25 cents an hour and all the bologna sandwiches ya want, condiments extra. They all got ripped off in the era. Like take it or leave it, I'll find another.
