Best Trout fishing of 2021 - In this episode of the Average Joe Fisherman, we take a look back at some of the my most memorable moments Trout fishing small rivers. If you watch my videos regularly you know that spinner fishing for Trout in creeks, or more aptly, fishing for Trout in Michigan is my jam!
It is my hope that, where ever you are, that you are safe and sound. Here's to a coming year where all Michiganders are able to spend a little more time spinner fishing for trout in rivers and creeks no matter the season. (Don't forget fishing spinners for Trout in the Winter is one of the most productive times of year. ) Here's to a coming year filled with finding big Brown Trout!

I just retired, hope to spend a lot of time fishing small stream browns. Don't ever stop making these videos They get me fired up.

Great catches. What size n color spinners are your best producers

I'm happy to share my favorites with you. My go-to spinners are Blue Fox, size one and two, solid silver, solid gold - Mepps, size two, gold, silver, rainbow - then I occasionally throw some that are not a part of my regular rotation - mostly Rooster Tails. The key for me is an old adage my Grandpa taught me - silver on sunny days, gold on cloudy days.
