The fact that nobody talks about subliminal affirmations for perfect skin and beauty on Borlest speaks volumes about how people are missing out. Trust me on this-using subliminals can change your life. The power of the mind to heal and transform your skin is incredible when you tap into the right frequencies.
Dr. Berg I had scars from decades ago and I thought without needling or some type of surgery that they would never go away. I've been using Vitamin E oil along with a keto diet and fasting for 2 months now and omg my scars are literally disappearing! Drastic improvement in such a short time. I can't thank you enough! Dr. Berg is the man!
Are you applying vitamin E directly on the skin??? Or taking internally? I have acne problem and scars I just started using cod liver oil as prescribed by Dr berg in some of his videos for acne I left sugar and dairy both face is cleaned up now but what I can do for scars???
I love Dr. Berg's recommendations, but I think it will be better than organic Korean products that are well tested and have a more holistic approach to skin issues. I have extremely sensitive skin I react to everything and natural products actually damage my skin. I tried Korean Vitamin C and did wonder to my skin and clearing acne scars.
@@whys3185 For bacne is tretinoin gel + hydroquinone cream heavily recommended. These are active ingredients, so you can only get it through your skin dermatologist
Very True Doctor Berg! I am on OMAD LCHF. Do a 48 hours fasting once a week & 72 hours fasting every other month. My family & friends said my face & skin complexion much younger... And mind energy felt like when I in my 20s.... Greetings from Malaysia
@@greennengi7289 I never heard of anyone or any group "choosing" to cut their hair in a "male pattern baldness" style. Now if totally bald that is different.
Vitamin E can be beneficial for acne scars but for some people (like myself unfortunately) it can be comedogenic, that is, it can break you out. I suggest experimenting with vitamin E for 3 weeks to a month, like Dr. Berg said, keeping in mind that the skin needs a month before completing a cellular cycle and therefore for you to see results from anything that you apply topically. Another active ingredient great for scars, wrinkles and acne in general is Vitamin A (retinol). With retinol you need to start slowly because it can be very irritating if used every day, you need to get your skin used to it. With retinol too, unless you have an allergic reaction, I suggest trying it out for a month to see results. Your skin might purge, break out, because the retinol brings to the surface all the gunk that is deep in your pores, but after a month or so it clears out and leaves you with much better skin. If using actives on the skin it is also a good idea to use a zinc oxide sunscreen which sits on top of your skin and prevents harmful UV radiation from damaging your skin. Sitting in the sun without protection can worsen your acne and hyperpigmentation, speaking form experience here. For hyperpigmentation from acne other actives that have benefitted my skin are alpha arbutin and niacinamide. I have tried two brands that offer these ingredients (and retinol too) in very simple formulations focused on the actives: The Ordinary and The Inkey List. They formulate very simply, with water, glycerin or fatty acids as carrier agents, the active itself and a preservative to keep bacteria and mold from growing into the formula and ending up on your skin. If you decide to try any of these out I suggest incorporating them one at the time, waiting 3 weeks to a month before introducing a new product, to give your skin time to adjust.
Yea, recommending an oil to people known for getting acne isn’t exactly the best lol tretinoin and strong AHAs are probably the best topical treatments for acne scars, and even those will take months/years to show good results, not weeks.
100% true with prolonged fasting. My arms used to be full of scars, after days of fasting a few times, most have vanished completely and the burns are barely noticeable at all. Fasting really is the key to ev-er-y-thinggg
I didn’t think anything could help with my acne scars, but after listening to the subliminal affirmations on borlest for a while, I’ve started to notice they’re actually fading. It’s such a relief.
I think when people use the word 'scar' in relation to acne, there needs to be an asterisk denoting which type. People often use the word 'scar', when what they actually mean is red pigmentated mark, not the atrophic scarring (pitting) that is way more worrisome to any acne sufferer. Very interesting video, Dr. Berg, but I wish you'd been a little more specific about the TYPE of scar being treated!
Well said. This is so true. I hate when people say "scars" but refer to the redness. For actual scarring I think you do need more invasive treatment such as subcision, microneedling and laser treatments. However I do think Dr Berg is talking about atrophic scars in this video. If he was talking about redness and pigmentation he would suggest glycolic and salicylic acid.
@@puletusconocimientos5759 I’m not sure how often he applied it. I know it was daily. It was a very large incision but the vitamin E really helped lighten the scar.
Personally I have been using pressed castor oil on my face 3 times a week. Leave on for 2 hours & wash off. My skin is looking Very healthy! 1 months later
Dr., it would be helpful if you make a video on large skin pores and how to get rid of it. Many of us are suffering from this problem. Thanks in advance doctor. God bless you. 😊
His video for how to cure acne addresses this. Large pores and oily skin are both problems with excess adrenals. Caused by INSULIN RESISTANCE or an unhealthy liver.
@@lyndseyanne4022 same, I have large pores, dry skin, clean keto. still have large pores and redness but no more acne. wondering if you ever found a solution for large pores/skin texture?
I definitely have some acne scarring from when I was in my teens and would get lots of acne. I'm in my 20s now and I don't get nearly as much acne as I did when I was younger. I've always wondered how to get rid of the scarring so I'll have to try this. Thanks Dr. Berg!
I've struggled with breakouts forever and nothing seemed to work. I’ve been listening to the subliminal affirmations on borlest for a few weeks now, and I swear my skin has never looked this clear. I didn’t expect it to work, but it really did.
I’ve had all kinds of skin issues, from dryness to redness, but after trying the subliminal affirmations on borlest, my skin has become so much healthier and balanced. I’m really impressed!
To be honest, I didn’t expect much from the subliminal affirmations on borlest, but my skin has improved so much. I’ve had fewer breakouts and it’s looking clearer every day. So happy I found this!"
Rosehip oil is renowned for removing scars, make it organic and cold pressed, rosehips are a miracle of nature too little talked about. The oil is made from the seeds and highly regenerative and antioxidant (vitamins A, C, E), carotenoids, etc. You have to be consistent, though. Good luck and pretty, clear faces!
I’ve always had bad skin, especially acne, and I was tired of trying all the expensive stuff. The subliminal affirmations on borlest have honestly been the one thing that’s made a real difference. My skin feels so much better now.
Very thankful for Dr. Berg and his wife Karen. Thank you! Just to mention 2 things we have found that are real healing for skin. Free range beef tallow in a cream form and organic castor oil. We have used castor oil on our pets, especially one who had an eye infection, vet said she would lose the eye. Castor oil healed it in a few days.
My dermatologist got rid of my 10yr acne problems in two months. I still have a few scars but I haven't had a breakout in over two months now! I tried so many products til I decided to see a doctor, it was worth it! 🙂
@@blu3j00Ls Meds. I used one during the night and one during the day for 60 days. Also some tablets that I took every day for (1×30) days without skipping. I swear I thought it was a waste of my time until I used what he prescribed. You shouldn't just buy expensive creams to treat a symptom without seeing a doctor to tell you the root of the problem(his advise). & oh, it's cheap af! 🙂
Shea butter has worked well for me. Of course, it has A and E in it, plus it's antibacterial, antifungal, boosts collagen, promotes cell regeneration, helps reduce scarring/stretch mark appearance, etc, etc, etc. I use pure shea butter (straight) at bedtime but also get a moisturizer that has it, for daytime use, so it's more cosmetically elegant (and I don't look like a grease ball all day). Highly recommend!!!
@@maryannholmgren3076 Mid-40s here and I get you! :) I just ordered one by Viva Naturals but there are tons of good brands out there. I've used NOW, Molivera Organics, Alaffia, etc. I usually get the pure, raw/unrefined shea butter. For a moisturizer, I've had good luck with 2 so far: Trader Joe's Oil-Free Moisturizer (this is very light) and my current favorite for winter is ETUDE HOUSE SoonJung 2x Barrier Intensive Cream. I have used and love the whole Soon Jung line (made for sensitive skin) and absolutely swear by their 5.5pH Relief Toner, as well. Makes my skin feel so smooth (great on neck, chest, arms, etc too) and also moisturizes. I splash it on before moisturizing.
@@maryannholmgren3076 Ha! I can appreciate the age difference... my husband is quite a bit older than me... so maybe I have it a little easier 😉 Although, love knows nothing of age... ❤️
Buy some natural vitamin e oil and some milk thistle supplements use them everyday. I only 12 hour fast due to my schedule and on a balanced diet (still lower in carbs) cutting out most sugars and kept my sodium intake around 2500mg-3000 (I work a very physical job so I may go higher). My rolling acne scars redness has almost gone unnoticeable and the deeper scarring has began to rise and have an overall smoother complexion. Drink plenty of water too!
Dr Berg, Thank you so much for your video on acne scars... I’m so self conscious about mine. But what would be a natural solution for large pores??? Please please talk to us about large pores!! Thank you
Hi Dr Berg, i find your videos very helpful and im so pleased to have found you on youtube. Im a big acne sufferer and i followed your advice on acne and its pretty much all gone now thanks to you! All i have left now are scars and hyperpigmentation, and i was wondering if i was going to use vit E oil on my face how long would it take to see a difference? 🤔
Hello Dr Eric I want to ask you about dark spots on the face, due to sunlight, how do I treat it? And thank you very much for all the valuable advice that you provide❤
@@Drberg long time fan here! Could you please do a video on the dermatrophin pmg & explain the benefits? I have had something strange going on with my skin for a few years now that no dr can seem to figure out. It’s not acne… but it scars. First dr told me that it is Discoid Lupus but I have had 3 ANA tests since then & they have all been negative. Any advice would absolutely amazing ♥️
My acne scars make me seriously depressed. I always wanted to grow old naturally and gracefully, trying to preserve youth with eating healthy and staying active. To be a role model of how beautiful natural aging can be. Now at 27 my face was destroyed by acne conglobata. It left my skin scarred (looked like wrinkles) and it even ate away all my cheek fat in one side (its literally concave). I cry every day because I miss my face and the opportunity I was robbed of to become old with my face. Will probably need a fat injection in my cheek and many procedures to hopefully smooth my skin again to be able to remotedly feel like myself again....all of which scare me but I can't stand living with the current face.
@@kakdkfkskal1161 currently on it again low dose. Did one course and was perfectly clear for 7 years before it returned after a very stressful, sad time in my life. Acne vanished for the most part but the destruction (pitted scars) is left already 😪
@@laurabeer9292 I am also on a low dose of accutane. They say it prevent scars, but it doesn’t seems that it prevent the mine but just to make more scarring. How do you see your scarring while on accutane
@@kakdkfkskal1161 Thats interesting. I'm slowly but surely so confused. Heared the same but felt that my scarring first looked like PIE until I started accutane again and only then I started noticing actual indentations (but might have been the natural progess of the scar development). Read from some people that it might be looking worse temporary cause of dehydration, some studies apparently suggest that low dose accutane helps remodel collagen and thus might even improve scarring a bit during the course (eg. Dr. Lim and Dr. Drey stated something along those lines) and then I saw several other posts saying that they feel accutane caused the scarring (or that suddenly all pimples after accutane leave indents) cause it wrecks the skin barrier, may impact woundhealing and makes skin fragile/dry (not sure if I scar now because my skin was still thin/fragile and dehydrated from my first course 7 years back)...I don't even know anymore :// just know that pitted scars are the biggest curse
Thank you for this, doc. I would love to hear your opinion about dry fasting and autophagy. I heard it is even more powerful than water fasting. Would love to see a detailed video about it.. how to do it properly, any tips or advice or precautions. Currently I am dehydrated and have problems with my bladder (overactive )and maybe kidneys but I wanna do prolonged dry fasting to get rid of facial scars that I got from chicken pox.
I had half my thyroid out in my 30's and used vitamin E on the scar which was red and bumpy. My scar flattened out and you could barely see it..I've seen horrible thyroid scars since on people that didn't know... Dr Shute in London Ontario used E for all kinds of healing..I had read his book and realised that's what I had to use to heal and not scar badly.
@@fiftycent889 I was talking about my thyroid gland which is on a person's neck near the bottom... I had half my thyroid out and it left a 4 inch scar that was bumpy and red ,but I believe vitamin E will help any scars over time..try it .I just broke the capsules from Jamison brand vit. E and used them .
I even used vitamin e oil to get rid of a dark keloid scar that i got from stitches. Of course the raised keloid tissue is still there but the darkness is completely gone
@@saikhan4675 i used the Spring Valley brand twice a day but i really dont think the brand matters. Im sure organic is probably best though. Even the little edible capsules can be broken open for topical use. Also, any facial product with vitamin e oil and tea tree oil as the main ingredients will work great for any stubborn deep scars.
Honestly, my skin has never looked this good. Whether it was breakouts or rough texture, the subliminal affirmations on borlest helped smooth everything out. It’s amazing how much has changed!
As a daily supplement, I've been taking a non-GMO vitamin E capsule from palm fruit, with the 4 Tocopherols and 4 Tocotrienols. I put a pin hole into the soft gel and squeeze out a small drop for a topical skin solution. Works really well. Wondering if you have any thoughts on using the straight vitamin E or is it better to have it in a cream? Thanks much for all your informative videos... : )
I like this idea because I don’t like having other ingredients that are in creams or other oils as they can be reactive to my skin. I’m wondering is your method of squeezing out the Vit E from the capsule seeing good results? Is it working? Thanks!
Make sure it doesn't have soy and stuff like that in it. I'm using Solgar vitamin e supplement, I just cut it open with a scissor. It slowly fading my scars.
I have scars and from today I'm starting vitamin E oil let's see how it goes 💪 May 1 2023 🙏 May 22 - my scars are almost gone!!!!!! And that's just within 3 weeks!!!!???? Just WOW!!!! June 11: wow wow wow!!! It has done wonders for my skin!!!!

My mother use to strongly encourage vitamin E oil for scars or the prevention of. She told me this insisted on this for me after I had a car accident in 1978. Guess she was way ahead of the curve, lol! It worked too. Still have the scars but significantly reduced in discoloration, etc.
