The Kirby puppy episode made me legitimately sad and I might've shed a tear or two when the puppy was about to self destruct and he thought of Kirby while he shed a tear....AND KIRBY WAS TRYING TO GET TO HIM SUSNSNZISNSBSG 😫😫😭
Maybe the Old Wise man voice Whispy has in the show is referencing how tree can live for hundreds of years, and possibly referencing how old some forest can be. Also the chainsaw being turned into a lasersaw was a pretty common thing to happen in dubs of kids anime in the 2000 (even those not dubbed by 4Kids) along with any other bladed weapons like swords
I feel like another way it could've gone like you wanted it to while also still having a decently happy ending, have the apples only create small sprouts while Whispy acknowledges that, a normal forest would take literally years to regrow after complete DeDeDestruction, but with Whispy's own powers over nature, he can use all his concentration to focus all his magic into the accelerated regrowth of the forest, cutting it down from years to, like, a couple of in universe months, could even have a few shots in later episodes that show the gradual regrowth of the forest, that way by the time the next forest episode comes around everything's back up and running in tip top shape, but it feels more earned, while still expressing the value in hard work and keeping our forests safe, cause we won't have the luxury of magic talking trees to make our forests grow back fast
@@mistysparkles I would want that to exist just so I could watch RU-vid uploads of all the animations for all the playable characters whenever they get eagles, birdies, etc. I wouldn't buy the game though, cuz I suck at all golf games except, ironically enough, Kirby's Dream Course. XD
Whispy, even in the games, is a weird case. With some enemies, we know their deal. Poppy Bros. Jr. usually just likes to play around with bombs for fun, to "bring explosions to everyone's life". Bronto Burts just kinda bump into you, apparently. Waddle Dees are usually loyal to Dedede, unless they're rogue Waddle Dees (don't ask me why they attack Kirby and pals, including Dedede himself, in Return to Dreamland), even Kracko shows that he's usually a troublemaker of the skies with a personal grudge against Kirby. Whispy tho? Well, we know they're the guardian of the woods... and that's about it. Like, in Return to Dreamland, as far as I know, they weren't possessed. They just really didn't want to return the shiny thing they had found. But there are times where they attack you when they're not either possessed or working for Dedede, yet others where it's shown to be nice to Kirby too, usually in other media besides the games, so... I dunno. Heck, it's hard to tell what Whispy even truly is. Are they just a single tree, and you always fight the same? Are they multiple trees? All the trees in the woods? A spirit that can possess any tree? It's never clear at all.
Alison Makes Misty Sparkly Stuff remains pretty much like the best RU-vid channel. Also if Whispy's apples are able to regrow sentient trees, does that mean by Tiff and Tuff eating them they're eating tree souls/aborting baby trees?
Here’s a idea: They shoulda just swapped Whispy Woods and the Octupus from Ep 1. Him being the first would make sense given the game, not to mention as a scary guy tormenting the town, it would make more sense for the tree known for blowing giant winds to be something they are sacred about then a Octupus... that eats sheep? Why does the Octupus eat sheep? Not to mention, that would make constantly telling Kirby to suck things would make more sense if the first time they fought a enemy that was all Kirby needed to do.
6:29 In that really weird Mario Kart ripoff two-parter episode (Kirby Derby), Dedede is shown using a normal chainsaw in both versions, so 4Kids is clearly allowed to have them in the show! I don't understand either.
