How to prepare a "Big easy" Sunday Dinner for big apoetites featuring Fresh Collards, Green Beans. Cheesy Mosquite Macoroni Casserole, Barbecue Chicken, Jerk Chicken Seasoned Rice and Buttery Sweet Cornbread
Ms Peggy you’ve made me a better cook! Whenever I make cornbread, I think of you. I’m half Lebanese and my husband is Polish but we love Southern cooking. I made fish the other day with Spicelogy brand curry spice. I love that spice company! I steamed some basmati rice and stirred some coconut 🌴🥥 cream (from a can of coconut milk) after the rice was done. The fish was served with fresh lime wedges, coconut rice and my Lebanese grandmother’s chopped salad recipe. The salad is just chopped sweet onions, tomatoes 🍅, cucumbers, fresh mint (or dried), squeeze of lime or lemon, pinch of sugar (optional), drizzle of olive oil optional too. The salad is so easy and refreshing in summer and it almost acts like a salsa for a nice piece of fish. We live on the New England coast where we can get fish and seafood right off the boats. 🐟 You’ve taught me to spice things up more and find spices I love to use! Thank You! God Bless you and your family! 💗
My Aunt taught me how to make rank meat many years ago and it adds that special sumthin to that green pot! My family always requests them for occasions with food. I love your old fashioned way of cooking and also your twists on your dishes! Much respect to you Miss Peggy💕😘💕
God bless You, cooking like this will make one tired and sometimes will cause the feet to ache for to much standing in the kitchen. It's worth the fellowship, smiles, conversation and appreciation from our loved ones. This remind Me of how I would cook so much food everyday and the table would be packed. Thank God for all His goodness!!!
One of many things I appreciate about your video’s is….you NEVER waste food, even if you have a few strips of bacon, or chicken etc you always incorporate it into your next video meal👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

You remind me of my grandmother who passed recently, Ms Peggy. She used to have a few pots going ready to feed all of us also. That tune you sang brought the song to my mind too! It's a good one!

Very similar to the way I was taught to fix fresh green beans. So much better than covering with water and boiling them to death. It all looks so good.
Lord have mercy Peggy, now I'm telling you what's the truth, you know you can cook!!! I don't have to tell you that, but I'm going to anyway. :-) :-) Now the meal you just cooked is fit for a king and queen, you just keep on out doing yourself. You keep on cooking like you cooking, I'm going to have to make a trip from Colorado out there to see you. I know that that meal right there is going to be some good eating!!! :-) :-) I would have to top that meal off with a big glass of cold sweet tea. :-) Have a good one Peggy!! :-)
@@gloriarogers6800 Now Gloria, this lady is cooking for her, not for you. Now if you feel like washing your veggies, then go ahead. Child, this lady has been cooking longer than you have been in this world. I'm sure she knows what she is doing.

LOVE watching you cook, however half the time can't hear what you're saying. For some reason it's too low, volume up all the way on my phone but still can't always hear. Enjoy your dinner with the flavor train. Never have a problem hearing them. Until you cook again STAY SAFE.🤗🤗
Mother Peggy I remember when I was a little girl I’m 52 now and my grandmother would by salt pork place on paper towel and place it in a container and place it in a top cabinet and she would rinse it off and put it in the pot . Wow 🤩 you truly took me back saying rank meat. She was from Mississippi. Peace and Blessings to you and the Howell Family always.🙏🏾💕

I don’t know how are you was cooking all that food who is getting me tired but it look all so good thank you for some of your recipes and bless you for cooking all that food for your family and friends God bless you and your family❤️🌹
I always cook my green beans and most greens with either fatback smoked ham hocks or bacon. I've never tasted smoked turkey necks in them before and I think I'll try it!!
If u use the same utensil, aren't you spreading ingredients/flavors from dish to dish? For instance, why would you want Alfredo sauce in your chicken noodle soup? Or, chicken noodle soup in your casserole?
Oh my goodness...I'm hongry...spelled correctly...that's about two steps above hungry.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Thank you for sharing this awesome meal. Staying connected for future videos.
Hi Peggie, that was a interesting thing you did putting the brown sugar in the green beans, and other recipes gave it so much flavor an enjoyable meal. You are truly a Chef. Love You Praying.

I want to see that M Chicken Casado, I know it’s spelled wrong but hopefully you know what I am asking, the chicken comes in a bag. May God continue to bless you.
You can't hear nothing! You stepped away from your Mic, and you didn't announce your ingredients! Sorry for my comment but your video wasn't interesting.
