Love how Noel will write an answer and by the time he says it out loud, he seems like he forgot he wrote it and it’s a whole new joke for him, or even better, now he’s embarrassed about what he wrote and struggles to say it out loud.
The funniest thing about this is they're really smart men and do super well if they bother trying, which they don't really unless there's something in it for them, like bonus points haha
@@N3ur0m4nc3r How dare you... Jonathan Ross is the Executive Producer of this program and... wait is this like the only time he's ever been on and lost? And it really did get David and Rob in a tizzy, that was funny... annoying to listen to but I'm glad they lost so bad.
I would kill to have improv skills like Russell. The way he can carry on the same cadence while saying the funniest shit I've ever heard is genuinely enviable
David Walliams must feel like every other student in Hogwards when at the end of the year all their hard work was worth noting because 'Plus 1000 points for Harry Potter! Grifendor wins!' But to be totally honest: I love Noel and Russell together, so they get a pass.😹
"Slytherin wins the House Cup! ... But wait. This year, Harry Potter has uncovered an ancient evil within the castle that, well to be honest I've always known about, but just couldn't be fucked dealing with. I mean it was on the to-do list, but I guess stopping the reincarnation of the deadliest wizard ever, just sort of slipped my mind. Anyway, 10,000 to Harry Potter! Gryffindor wins!"
@@LQOTW He's good at it. He's a great bad guy who makes you want Noel and Russell to win, and maybe give him a punishment kiss or something uncomfortable. I think he really stepped up in this episode. His twat act made Noel and Russell look better, which made for a great show.
Noel and Russell just showed the main lesson of life. Don't take it too seriously, it doesn't matter 😂 Even if you work super hard, someone who did nothing could still beat you to the top. Hahaha Man. That was brutal.
my favourite is david and rob thinking that finnish people were celebrating sweden scoring a goal, when finnish people wouldn't be caught dead cheering for sweden winning at something
This is my fourth full episode I've watched in a row and as an American, I'd like to actively say I wish Jeopardy and Family Feud was this fun/funny and hilarious
It's currently July 2023, and a massive amount of the joy that I'm getting from this playlist, is the fact that there isn't an annoying ad break every feckin' 5 minutes. I hate youtube so much now for destroying all the joy we get from great entertainment like BFQ. Thank you to this uploader for choosing NOT to waste our time by opting out of putting in ads.Obviously it's a choice for other content providers, so why do they choose to mess up their work, and waste our time? /end rant
Be it Cat's delightfully raucous laughter, Johnathon's good-natured championing of The Goth Detectives, David's Corden-esque pissy-fit, Rob's long, pinched face contort to hound-dog-length proportions, or the impishly gleeful twinkle in Jimmy's eye as he awards the bonus 22 points...hands down this 2006 quiz show version was, for me, a far more entertaining and enjoyable experience than my *actual* memories of that year... 😉🥰
Of the last 20 years, this has to be the best one! The year I graduated and my freshman year of college, I remembered so much from this time. Good negotiating Noel and Russell!
@@lecy2525 Don't you notice the awkward smiles and laughter? And the mood suddenly changing? I don't know what the fight was about. But what I managed to google, it was something about Boy George made some comment about Matt Lucas.
I love that jimmy calls out Walliams for have a ‘show biz hissy fit’. What a dullard baby. Noel and Russel are having fun (which is the POiNT of the show!) and he can’t be bothered to not be a wanker.
Yeah, but when Jimmy deliberately helps Noel & Russell JUST to piss off David is my favourite. I've seen this quiz the most, just for that bit 🤣🤣🤣🤣😂👍👍👍
I can’t remember exactly which one it was because it’s been so long ago now but there was one (one of many) where Noel and Ayoade were partners and Ayoade and Noel were both on fire with their jokes. Can’t remember which one it was now but I remember laughing at everything that came out of their mouths. It also helps that they have great comedic chemistry.
@@marcozethof fair enough could just be competitive, but i feel like david and rob are playing the part of people trying to take the quiz aspect of the show seriously which is the comedy aspect of it.
@@BeavzMC Well if it was comedy, I think it was very unclear, and it's not like I dislike him or something, I'm dutch and I watch this show and the only one I knew was Russel brand and that woman who plays gina linetti in Brooklyn99 and I think it's fun
Those two Russel and Noel have been teamed up quite alot and they love mucking about. The scary thing is if they took it seriously they probably would have won everytime or damn close.
While Russell is chronologically younger, Noel will always be significantly younger in the way he approaches the world. It’s part of Noel’s charm and why Russell takes a protective stance with him.
With the medal discrepancy, it’s kind of funny how different the Big Fat Quiz’s coverage is for the Winter and Summer Olympics. Summer: video montage with music, special guests Winter: show a picture, ask what the sport is
Noel Fielding is both ugly and gorgeous at the same time. If he had a conservative side-part haircut and wore a standard bland suit and tie, he'd be a rather homely and strange-looking guy. But with the makeup and costume, he's astonishing.
I just realised that the children who did the play in this one will all be in their 20s now. Which is scary because I remember watching this episode in 2006.
He was invited back. Several times, actually. I do enjoy his odd, off-beat, and childish humor. He was putting on the whole frustrated-schoolboy persona for laughs and you can tell that likeability is not something he factors into his act, so it's not for everyone, I guess.
This is heaven for me, I find Russell Brand & Noel Feilding HILARIOUS & SEXY AF!! Together they are comedy magic. Laughed so much that I nearly fell out of my wheelchair !!! Literally 😁
@@xxkimbatron i think everyone is butthurt, its common for these british panel shows to establish a kind of 'gag' thats carried throughout, also ive been watching it and theres been like 3/4 comments of that nature in the entire 2 hours you guys are just being ridiculous..
