Corrino requires a different army composition to counter, I believe… your best bet is getting mass grunts and Cerberus with one or two executioners + sleeper agent mission to overwhelm their front lines and bum rush the artillery drones. Have ~2 gunners hold back with the overlord and only engage when the siege drones start repositioning… Emp blast + combat drugs are also extremely useful tools.
Question: Would the stealth probes be good here? I am not sure what the distances are for stealth always in this game, but I would think having them run up to the drones in stealth and then having them with the upgrades to make them melee and explode when they die would have them dive onto the drones and then take them out, even when they get picked off by other units.
You've misunderstood Insulated Valleys. It reduces upkeep on villages that have "at most 2 wind", so all your 3+ wind territories don't benefit. Which at the time was all of them 😂
I did a fun build recently with Neffud/Piter and kept Sleeper Agents on tap. I had these massive battles where I would swarm over people and I continued to just crank out a lot of cheap, disposable minions.
realising the harkonnen grenadiers can't target air really ruffled my feathers. do you find that playing Corrino w/Wensicia (x2 buildings) makes it really hard to use village quirks efficiently, especially early game? i find they need to ignored if the RNG is unfavourable but i'm still new
Some village traits are more important than others. You should try to spec your area based on them, looking at the whole tapestry than the individual location... but yes... you should at times ignore their opportunities
You get "district bonuses" for filing up the 1/2/3 slots of main base buildings with the same color. ex: you have all 3 red districts in the 3 slot space, you get the 3rd tier red bonus of +2 power. If you filled up your 2 slots with red districts you get the tier 2 bonus of +1 armor. The Bazaar counts as a 'wild' color for completing a bonus --then ALSO gives you the lower tier bonus as well. Most practical way to use this is to build 2 reds and then the bazaar in your 3 slot. This gives you both the +2 power AND the +1 armor bonus (and you could still build 2 more reds in the 2 slot if you want to get double the tier 2 bonus!).
If nukes were just a wee bit faster they would probably be fine. Losing your standing is rough, but not if you are trying to win on heg, or dom and you arent concered with politics. Also I think if I remember correctly I read on patch notes or something at some point, that the speed of the nuke depends on the distance of the silo? So the closer the silo the faster the detonation. Not sure if that is the case but I feel like I remember reading that somewhere.
You like scouts/ornithoptors but you forget to scavenge them! Military units can gather good stuff for free, whereas it costs 300 bucks for a new ornithoptor
To lose to rng is sad. That kind of option to delete your choam's shares shouldnt trigger above 40%. The game is really well balanced but this types of rng have to go.
