Big Waves, Big Baits, Big Whales, and BIG STRIPED BASS!!!!!! 

That was an awesome day. It's one thing to catch multiple Stripers, but to see several Whales breaching that close, absolutely incredible. It's one of the best videos with your light-hearted personality and patience. What started out as a catastrophe ended up great.

Great video . What an awesome trip. Especially after how it started

I went on the Gambler on Tuesdays and we beat the hell out of them right off the beach just like you did in this video. Not only did we do really good we saw 250-300 pound bluefin jumping completely out of the water. I heard of them coming in close but I’ve never seen tuna right off the beach like that. It was absolutely insane.

You certainly had an awesome solo trip! The whales were really mugging for the camera. You are setting a great example for anglers young and old, to follow the regulations to protect our precious fisheries. Well done Captain Chris.

Awesome video! The striper fishing the past couple years has been insane. Took my father and rest of the family out to block island for dinner this spring and trolled around a few birds before heading in. Hooked up on 2 around 50lbs within 20 min.

Every time you caught one even i started reeling in , beautiful catches, those whales are cleaning up with the fish each time they breach, my beach catches have been minimal. Thanks for the video, Peace.

A little "sporty" out there. We bridle the bunker through the eye sockets like an offshore bait. We used to put the hook through the nostrils but the circle hooks turn in on the bait and will not work this way.

Way to get on them REAPER. I found I pulled a lot less hooks when I hook them through the dorsal. Seems to pull out of the bunker more easily than when I hook them in the mouth ensuring a good hookset. Either way work though. Way to crush it. Loved the video.

Bro we all been there it really sucks when everything just gose wrong we where just out there last Saturday on the 4th on the boat next to the beach seaside park catching the cows and never seen tuna that close awesome fall run but no whales tho 😢

That's unbelievable that's actually a rule you have to bring the bunker in and then re-hook it I never heard of such a thing when I was striper fishing that is impossible to enforce nine times out of 10 if the bass are right in the bunker you can't even get the bunker in the boat to re-hook it the bass takes it right away unbelievable the rules today on things

Chris was this last Saturday 11/4? We saw you on our way back South from the bunker near the beach up at Seaside

REAPER!!!!

In a fleet of 50 boats, we were the only boat re-hooking bunker with circle hooks. I use mustard 10 hooks under the lip and out the nostril. Unfortunately, we saw many bass floating belly up. I mentioned over the radio the rule, and got complete silence, from a gang of otherwise obnoxious Long Island assholes, that never shut up on a weekend. Channel 68.

Nice work not editing out the real fishing in the beginning, breaking off multiple times trying to make bait cause your rod is broken 😂
