Great advice Tall👏 I am using for my all vehicles and bikes, as you said the most cheapest and super efficient tags, my advices put 2 even 3 on your loving bike that will make even more difficult thief to not be located!

Good content sir. I had my 2019 ktm 790 stolen after owning it for only 6 weeks. I bought the Monimoto gps tracker for my 2021 890 adventure. It’s a little more expensive than the smart tags, but has a few more features.

Great Job Tall, Now you gotta go a step deeper, with the AirTag that is, you must disable the speaker inside the AirTag cause Bad Guys WILL be able to find it and just throw it away, Hmmm.. there is a RU-vid Tutorial that covers that. ....Ram ..Keep the rubber side down 😎

When I bought my 2022 Harley-Davidson Heritage last year the first thing I did I put a Apple air tag and a Tile in my saddle bags.

If the thief has an apple phone the apple air tag will notify the thief that he is being tracked. The thief can then select the notification and tell the iPhone to make the air tag make a sound. Now the thief can locate and throw away the air tag. Not a perfect solution. It’s designed to find things but also keep a crazy ex from tracking your car or whatever

Yes, but if the thief is dumb enough to take his or her phone to turn off the air tag then Apple has the information from the Thiefs phone and now can track the Thiefs' phone and give the info to the proper authorities.

The little speaker that makes the sounds can be easily removed from an AirTag without otherwise affecting the function of the AirTag. I’ve done that to all of mine.

That’s something that Harley alarmed system is supposed able to do. When I got my Tri Glide it came with bike locator. Sadly they don’t do that part without them locating it?

Bad thing now is the airtag will let your smartphone know that you’re being tracked via the airtag. I believe it’s a safety feature

Apple AirTag don’t track in real-time and I had delays of up to 30 mins when using it. Maybe the android one is better. This comment is just FYI. Sometimes it irritates me how long it takes to connect and locate the tag. Also, if the thief have an iPhone it will alert their iphone that an AirTag device has been following them and the owner may be able to locate them. When my wife drive my truck she always let me know or think I’m tracking her 😆. But it is better then nothing if that’s all you can afford. In my slingshot I have a Viper tracking system that is way better. That one is real time tracking. 🏆

With apple if they steal your bike with an air tag tracker and the the thief has an iPhone it will tell them that an air tag is tracking them. That’s my only complaint with apple.

It doesn’t work like that. It has to be in Bluetooth range of a compatible phone and even then the person with that phone has to agree to send the location

If the device is outside of the Bluetooth LE range, the device can still be located using Samsung's SmartThings Find Network, which uses the internet connection and GPS location of other Samsung Galaxy phones in the area to anonymously pinpoint the location of the SmartTag to the owner.

if you want better look into the georide, its a gps tracker, alarm and notification if someone tamper with your bike it calls your phone and a lot more things. gkue has a video on it i just install it has a lot of features
