A quick video on how to bind a spi based whoop or any other D8 receiver to the XJT Lite module using an ACCESS based frsky radio. This will work with other model radios and the process is basically the same.

Very useful, thank you, especially that you have sowftare available, because I thought if a unit was flashed with 2.0 that it couldn`t be undone :o

Dude I'm pretty sure this helped me so much, I'll know for sure when I put props on and fly tomorrow but thank you sooo much. I finally get to use the transmitter I bought like 6 months ago and finally got another tinyhawk 2 freestyle but this one isnt the rtf kit. I lost hope for awhile with this hobby because I'm not the best with computers but your really helpful so thank you so much, it really does mean alot!!!

Thanks for the video. It took me several days searching and reading to find this same solution. Back dated XJt Lite to 190730 FW. I don’t do quads but couldn’t bind older Frsky D8 or RM R168 Rx. Now OK except for RM R88 or R84 still can’t bind.

Do you have a video on binding this module to a BetaFPV 75 using a RadioMaster Zorro 4-1....i've been trying to get it to bind for days now with no luck....Thanks for any help!

Wondering if you could help, after following your great video on opentx isrm etc. got everything updated open tx 2.3.14 and did the most recent isrm 2.1.6 planning on using the xjt module on my x9lite everything bound up fine after plugging my whoop in and hitting exit to many times my tx is fully bricked I’ve tried most videos I can find on it, thanks!

Will this work if you update accst to 2.0.. that's what I'm hoping for anyway. Having trouble flashing older firmware to my xm plus and want to upgrade the radio and use the module for spi.. is this feasible? Thank you.

Hello I Bought a XJT to connect to my whoop. And got it connected very easily, but I bought a crossfire receiver to try and connect it with that but have had a lot of trouble. can you help?

Xjt and crsf are not compatible. You'll need a crsf transmitter module to be able to talk to your crsf receiver.

hi there sir, can u please help me, bought this zorro elrs version and xjt lite module to use with my 3 happymodel quads, mobula7 2s mobula7 1s and larva x, all have d8 rx, but this external module does not bind to any of them?? also when i go check the firmware version under modules/ rx version tab, it says for external module = no info can u please tell me what i need to do to get this module work using my newly bought zorro elrs radio!!! would really really appreciate it sir. thanks.

for some reason it says unknow command when type bind_rx

The bind commands have changed over the years depending on the betaflight version.

That's normal. The older fw doesn't report the fw version info. As long as the led on the back of the module is coming on and changing when binding you should be good.

@@TweetFPV I put the jtm module in set it to d8 went to beta flight typed in bind_rx and says error command not accepted typed bind_rx_spi same thing have the hawk pro 6 s has a bind button on board never had an issue with bin before is there a certain way you do the 6 s pro 2022 verdion

The bind command only works for spi based receivers. I don't think this has a spi rx. You'll need to start the bind on the quad side with the physical bind button.

@@TweetFPV I turned on receiver with bind button engaged set frisky jtm d8 to bind nothing happens that is what the instructions said in quad box I know you can direct to quad with trannis plus but the lite i se no pins
