Great video…we have rented atv’s with the family and grandkids in the Black Hills…great fun. Was stationed at Ellsworth AFB in early 70s and go back often. Thanks for taking time to make the videos. Have subscribed to the channel.
Hi my name is Aden. Hope you see this lionspring. I love your lay out on google earth of the trails and historic sites. I was wondering if you could copy the file, you were using to mark all those locations because I want to use it to help me to visit historic sites. It would be cool if you could send me it though email or something.
Go to www.fs.usda.gov/detail/blackhills/maps-pubs/?cid=FSEPRD533421 and click on any .KMZ file. If you are using Firefox you can open with Google Earth.
Thank you for this information. We regret this error and advise viewers of this video to disregard the information about the Queen Bee mine which is indeed on private property and should not be visited without the land owners permission.
The list of old mines and maps was compiled by Dale Baity and it copyright so you will not find it on line. They are published on a CD which I believe is now out of print, However Dakota Matrix Minerals may still have a few copies. If so, they are available at www.dakotamatrix.com/products/591/ghost-town-black-hills-ma...
Have found the data that you used for this video. Have an opportunity to purchase. Is the info you receive worth the investment, or is it alot of empty holes in the groud with a handful of worthwhile sites listed?
