Fun fact: When you first enter the fire giant fight he doesn't immediately aggro on you , and if you have a mighty shot bow and stand just outside of his aggro range, you can shoot him , and he wont do anything about it, so if you have 99 rot, poison, and blood arrows you can kill him before the fight even starts.

Killing Maliketh with the Blade of Death has got to be extra disrespectful.

Imagine how much more overpowered this weapon would be if its Ash of War did magic or fire damage instead of holy. Anyway, this was a fun run. Good job!

I feel like some people don't know about the swamp power of ng+. Iirc in New game you get slowed by deep water, mud, lava etc. In ng+ you don't.

I know the set up for it would be a little more annoying and possibly time consuming but, have you ever thought of doing a Blaidd run? Start Vagabond, get the greatsword, infuse it with cold, wolf mask, then rush Ranni's Quest to get the rest of the gear. IMO, it's quite fun to run around as ER's best boy, and it'd be interesting to see Blaidd make his way into ER's secret classes

When fighting that first BKA if you wanna be a sneaky assassin, you can go down hte elevator into hte hero's grave, then come back up, back-stab, disengage, move to the elevator, rinse, repeat, easy kill with sneak attack

Came for the elden ring content, stayed for the ITYSL clips. And like ONE little nugget of meat.

Maybe try a treespear run? That’s one of the few somber weapons that can take elemental buffs, even though it already has baked in holy. Just if you’re looking to practice with spears, you don’t seem to have as much fun with them but they can be pretty neat

When I made an early run for the Black Knife, I detoured to the Cliffbottom Catacombs to hire a Kaiden Sellsword to help bully the Assassin who drops the knife; the fight still took a couple tries, but the Assassin isn't nearly as good at dodging against two people, and the Sellsword can ragdoll her, which allows for some pretty easy free hits. IMO, an assassin hiring a sellsword to help them in a fight seems pretty reasonable.

I'm on NG+4 and I keep going back to black knife assassin build. I enjoyed the dual Wing of asteel build, and sword ordovice sword stance break but I noticed I keep switching back to the Black knife build when I reach malenia, blade of miquella. Always revert back to the assassin build.

As a fellow ps5 player, how do you use the recordings on your ps5 for videos?

On those slow moving swamp portions where you're forced to slow walk, you can turn your character's back on where you want to go and then tap B/Circle to perform a quick hop backwards. It's significantly faster than walking. Works in lava too.

Could you use the teleporter chest in the Tower of Return in the Weeping Peninsula to get to Leyndell? If you use the tongue to bait invaders while you're standing by the elevator, then invaders can spawn at the bottom and use the lever to send the elevator up.

This video made me realize just how many bosses are resistant to holy that really have no right to be. For example, FortniteSex is the only dragon with holy resist! Yknow, the *lichdragon?* I know he was Godwyn's bestie and all, but still! Why do Radahn and Malenia have holy resist? Sure they're Radagon's kids, but that bloodline is all they've got, and Rykard, who is Radahn's brother, doesn't have that privilege. I guess Rykard is technically a giant snake now and not exactly a standard demigod anymore, but why do even demigods not affiliated with the Erdtree or Golden Order have holy resist? This one I know is a bit of a stretch, but Godfrey is fully mortal, merely a warrior who was once the husband of a goddess. Even if you make the argument he was once Marika's consort, Rennala was Radagon's consort and even has a great rune of her own, something you can't say about Godfrey, and the developers had the sense to not give her holy resist. Why does he have holy resist?

Also you can go into the catacomb to stop agro and when the black knife assassin is walking away you can back stab them again
