I wonder why the branches waited to appear. Normally they should push out as the spike is developing so that all of the buds are opening at the same time. I guess it just wanted you to enjoy the blooms longer.

It's sepals make it look like a brassia orchid. As for the sudden fragrance some orchids pic a time of day to release It. Brassavola nodosa are only fragrant at night, meanwhile my miltoniopsis is only fragrant in the morning until around 11am.

I’m knew to Odontocidiums. Can you please tell me the medium you used in this. Is this better than bark & moss mix? I would love mine to rebloom like yours. My home have low humidity. Hope you can advise me . Thank you!

Hi Michael I'm from 🇬🇷 and I wanna ask how many ppm of N do u feed weekly? Not all nutrients ppm only N from u fertilizer. Also I'd is possible to write me at growing time if u double N and late Autumn if change u fertilizer to hi phosphorus.. Thx for sharing u knowledge ..
