BloomBurrow is a great set with some very powerful cards and the artwork is good too! I preordered the pre-cons quite some time ago and I got excellent prices for the take home kits from my LGS and my son's friend who is a big distributor. Yes, Wizards will print a lot of this set and the cards will gradually go down in price. I will wait awhile to buy some singles. I like the Baylen and Helga cards and Dragonhawk is insanely powerful. Supply issues is a real problem in my area one place I go has little to no singles consistently but prices are fair and another has a supply but I find them over priced most times and my third store is hard to travel to consistently so I buy what I can when I can so I have a budget ahead of time. But your so right veterans can wait and new players are anxious and I get that at least in my area
FOMO is real! When I saw so many prereleases, prerelease kits and bundles sold out, I knew I was in trouble. Had to seek out other stores in different provinces for what I wanted. At least, this is a sign for a successful set. Cheers Moxman!
I never liked magic the gathering, but these cards are adorable and make me wish I had money to purchase them as a collection. This comes from a long time pokemon player.
What i noticed is nearly non of the legendary creatures reflect on the cards what abilities they have in the story. Wouldn't it be nice to disign them that way, like they are doing with universes beyond mostly? For me the set feels kinda uninspired about what the cards do. I mean we have now like 3 black instant and sorcoryies that say destroy target creature .... Why? 😅
The thing about for the common good is that you can just pay one to make all your tokens indestructible and gain some life which is pretty amazing. Just 1 green
It's been a while since I've played, so forgive me if my reading is off. But that card indicates that a target must be selected for the XX, THEN you can get the other benefits. Is that wrong?
@@ryanwhitaker4444x can be zero. You just make zero copies of a token. Once you make zero copies everything else goes into effect. Due to the periods, nothing is contingent on making the token
Big part of it is standard rotation. It makes everyone scramble and figure out what they wanna play and build after we lose entire decks and heavily played cards
I'm buying up this set because I love the concept so much. Idec if the cards are super op or crap, I just want to imagine my sick animal army on my battlefeild. I already ordered a collector box, play booster box, and bundle. Dunno yet if I'll try to get any of the commander decks, I'll probably go for the group hug deck cuz I don't have one like it yet and I'm curious. I'm a sucker for squirrels too ofc, but I can see So many players are gonna want to get that one that squirrels are gonna be so overplayed that I get sick of them
This is nothing but a continuation of the "FIRE design". It's Throne of Eldraine all over again, with a significant boost in power all over. Sure this set looks cool and somewhat "fresh" but the implications of this on the long term is huge. We will, and have, become less tolerant to so-so weaker sets like: Theros, beyond death; or Karlov mansion; or New capenna (cool idea, poor delivery. Just to name a few. The only outcome is to have greater and faster increase of power, and it's already at a insane level when compared to 20 years ago. just my humble 2 cents on the matter.

To me the set looks better after some more spoilers but still nothing to write home about but overall public opinion seems to be strong so it will likely be as good as MH3……meh, just wait and pick up the nonland cards for cheap as the prices plummet after release. I’ll likely preorder three trees as I see this going up after release. I’m more excited about duskmourn tbh as it just looks like a better set so far.
The joke is on the folks who paid and preordered the set. The people who wait till release will be the first ones with the cards in their hands. Preorders take a LONG time to ship, if the seller ships at all. I'm not talking about your average scammer, I'm talking about Major sellers like the main seller on tcgplayer. Be patient. Support your LGS. Be the first one on your block with Bloomburrow cards.
This video got me to spend $10 on tcgplayer on cards that are gonna support one of these new cards from Bloomburrow. Buy those $0.03 cent cards now while they're cheap. Don't wait for the price to go up. What's the worst that could happen? A $0.03 cent card drops to $0.01 cents and you lose 66% of your investment? (not financial advice, don't buy more than you need)
What a surprise! A set that fits the fantasy theme of what Magic: the Gathering is all about is selling well, unlike Universes Beyond and horseshit sets like OTJ and Karlov. WhO cOuLd HaVe GuEsSeD?

@@EldritchCutie32 played since I was a kid. It has a special place in my heart and childhood. So did video games but times have changed so much. Greed has ruined so much. Hard to not feel taken advantage of by these companies in modern times. Their practices continue to get worse and not better. After a while it’s like… why waste money on something when companies lower the standards but increase the price. Like thin warping card stock. Still looks fun though this set. Little animals that are cute but deadly haha. Not trying to be a downer, it’s just frustrating to see all the cool stuff be manipulated so much. This also includes games workshop and many gaming developers. It’s not just MTG. I still have hope things could turn around. Have fun and goodluck! Hope it’s a good one.
I really don’t understand the hype around this set. First, This whole fursona thing creeps me out, second I really don’t see any cards that are “must haves” for any of my current decks. This will be the first set I DONT buy anything from.
