With a bit of RU-vid magic you will find out very soon! The stripdown was a year ago and I saved the footage 😁

Awesome, please do let us know if there ends up being rarity of some replacement parts, and if there were certain things you had to go aftermarket for. Always wanted one of these, but want to be realistic about DIY ownership Was that chunk of sealant you pulled related to the head gasket failure, or would there have still been enough pressure and flow that the cause was something else?

With a bit of RU-vid magic you will find out very soon, I filmed this a year ago and have been saving it for when the job is finished to put them out together, which it now is! So hopefully will be out next week. Nearly everything is still avilable from BMW! No I dont think that bit of silicone blocked it, theres plenty of other chambers, not ideal though!
