Abisko is absolutely beautiful. I remember being a kid in the 80's and we were going to Narvik and thought it was the prettiest village I had ever seen.
We were in Jokkmokk and nikkaloukta this summer. Not with our bikes but with car. You missed Köpenhamn close to Jokkmokk. I f you ride from Jokkmokk to Kvikkjokk you pass a place called Köpenhamn, close to the waterfall “Brudslöjan”.
Hi there, your video's are quite wonderful.....and fun. Have you or can you publish your routes. Especially your Norway/Murmansk and this Swedish trip? As soon as Europe and Scandinavia opens up I'll be on my GSA 'up north'. Best regards, Tony
@@BackroadMotorcycleAdventures Thanks so much for the link. All of this must take you a great deal of time, it is greatly appreciated. Stay safe and well. Tony
What are the two small bags on each side of the TFT? They fit perfectly there and I have never seen them in other videos? Always looking for ideas for my GS......that I get next year :-)
Those are Fairing bags from Wunderlich.de - I'm to too happy with them though. First, water gets into them easily, so you don't want to store anything that cannot get wet. And a lot of water accumulates in there as it doesn't get out. Second, the idea is easy access, e.g. tickets, cloths for wiping your visor, etc, is a bit compromised as they can't be opened with just one hand. Third, the fit on the Adventure is so-so. Although they are listed as fitting the Adv model, it is like they forgot about the side wind spoilers on the Adv. But they can be sort of an extension of your pockets of your jacket.
No gas stations on the road to Ritsem, so need to have 300 km. But it was no problem. We had refueled at Jokkmokk. Other than that, there are plenty. They may not be Shell or Cicle K, but there are plenty. Thanks for watching 😊
It is for SOS primarily, and the online breadcrumb trail. I also use it for saving the track, as the Nav 6 doesn’t store more than 10 tracks or so unless I manually save it. The 66i auto archives daily.
@@BackroadMotorcycleAdventures and reasonably priced too not bad especially needed where you are riding for sure. Btw loved the bit in this video where you state you forget what you have said due to age, the fact this was repeated made me laugh! :) Well done!
