Welcome to my channel! This is a music reaction channel. For the longest time, I've loved creating content on the internet. I started off with a gaming channel right here on RU-vid, which eventually turned into a Twitch gaming channel, but as time has gone on I've evolved into doing other things on RU-vid. For years now I've wanted to create a music channel on RU-vid, and recently just figured "why not?", so it’s time to give this a go! Give me any suggestion you have for music reactions, and I will do my best to get around to them. As music has fallen further out of my life, I figured this would be a great time to get reintroduced to music.

The rhythm section is Robbie Shakespeare and Sly Dunbar two legendary Reggae Session players. Add Mark Knofler and Mick Taylor and you have quite a band.

Listen to this song live on the Letterman show in America. He is the only man who can cover his own song. There are so many different versions by Bob of his own songs.

There are multitudes of meanings , understanding and opinions in Dylan's lyrics .... and that mystery is masterful ! IMO

You totally misheard the above stanza. Second, don't look up other people's interpretations before you hear and feel the songs for yourself. People have been interpreting and misinterpreting Dylan's words for decades. Take the ride YOURSELF first, let your own imagination run wild. You're not expected to understand such deep lyrics first go around. But in the end how you interpret them is just as valid as anyone else's. That is the hallmark of true art/poetry. 👍

He's more than that. His Ascendant is Sagittarius. Gemini = Words, Sagittarius = Ideas Sun, Mercury & Venus in the Gemini Ruled 7th (Relationship). His very being is tied up in the words and desire / love. Neptune (dreams, artistic bent, etc) is tied up in that 10th house of career and reputation and Neptune represents art to the masses and Mars in the Pisces ruled 4th- the House of the Home. Indicates Home is on the move, mysterious and fleeting. Home endeavours seen thru a glass darkly This adds to what is a "Grand Cross". Possession holders of this configuration imbues the candidate as a major player at whatever level of influence. And as the 4 signs nentioned are Mutable its like he's a reporter for humankind and a minstrel for today's masses. Younger generations would be well advised to familiarise themselves with his ruminations. He's the Shakespeare of our times.

Love your Dylan reactions and your intuitive deciphering of his lyrics. Oh, and the line was: "The rifleman's stalking the sick and the lame." It's stunning to me how timeless his songs are . . . we're heading backwards and they're becoming more and more relevant - very sad!

Jokerman is the good guy. He is the katechon spoken of in Paul's letter to the Thessalonians who delays the end times as a merciful work toward those the Antichrist would deceive.

Dylan's lyrics are usually pretty deep, as you know and he has been very spiritual through the years so your guess is as good as mine. Some analysists think it's about a man's freedom clashing with widespread oppression. Not gonna lie, I wanted to find out Dylan's take on the song, but I couldn't find anything. Dylan does interviews, but not many. Anyway, Dylan is worth the time. Take care.

In one interview, Dylan was asked to explain one of his songs and he said the interviewer should go out and stop anyone on the street and ask them to explain. "I'm the last one you should ask."

it's about Jesus - the guy that spoke in parables, a jokerman. One of several great songs from Dylan's religious period. I'd highly recommend "Every Grain Of Sand" - specifically the cut off "Shot Of Love" (also released on "Biograph") Piano and lyrics that even an atheist like me can appreciate - and, imo, the most beautiful harmonica solos ever done - even for the incomparable 'blindboygrunt' ...also "When The Ship Comes In", "The Groom's Still Waiting At The Alter", "Gotta Serve Somebody", "Man Of Peace", - "Gospel Plow" (an old folk song he didn't write but recorded on his 1st album)

I'm a recent subscriber who is enjoying your reactions. I like songs that sound upbeat but are really deep and dark lyrically. A good example is the Rolling Stones song Heartbreaker. It makes you wanna dance, but then think about how can you dance to the subject matter.
