Been looking for some really well structured body tracing videos online for a while now and this looks exactly like what i am after! im only a beginner/intermediate spinner at best but watching vids from you and drex's stuff as well has been so useful lately. thanks for the upload!
Dave you are the man. Thanks so much for your time and effort in putting together such an excellent series of tutorials. So selfless and so appreciated!
the right hand is native to your right side. Left hand is native to the left side. when the left hand is on the right side, the left hand is on its non native side. and same for the right hand when its on the left side. This is a simple way to explain what hand does what when left vs right handed people watch, or to compensate for me facing the camera and my right and your right are switched.
Thank you lots for clearing that up for me. It's been bugging the crap out of me, not knowing what the hell people are talking about. Drex for instance uses the term in most of his ten billion videos. Anyways thanks again and keep up the awesome spinning
right hand is native to the right side, and non native when its on the left side. Left hand is native to the left and non native to the right. This makes it easier to talk about sides without worrying about lefty vs righty vs accounting for which way your facing. Hope that clears it up.
I need you to make a video of you doing the first thing over and over til I can figure out what's going on lol. So each poi gets one beat under their native armpit or are they both hitting a beat under both?
hi there, this qn may be outdated but here goes: wat do you mean when u mention "native hand"? master hand? or the hand on which side the action is currently happening? =P
I have a question. Ive head this term native side or non native side but have never found a video that gives a definition for it. so what does native side mean?
I practiced in a military setting so we didnt have "belts" just levels, so Im afraid I have no frame of reference, but recall from karate that blue was a few belts under black, so if thats a similar scaling, thats cool. I was actually only incidentally at a BBJ gym, not practicing there. My combatives gym was covered in army shit.
Nah not like karate, blue is right after white, but takes about 2 years to get there, and it usually takes about 10 years to black in bjj. That's cool man! Imma go spin some more!
