You should create a "dream body visualization" video that we can listen to. The Susan powder one is good for relaxation but it would be cool to have a video that goes through the visualization of each part of the body from the feet up being fit, full of vitality, sexy & strong.

Not sure how I missed your comment! I forget to do this all of the time and even still I find it makes a big difference! The hardest part for me has been actually visualizing myself - it can be so difficult to conceptualize what it looks and feels like to have a dream body, but with some practice it becomes easy!

This subject is so fascinating. In high school and even in my 20s I was “too skinny” so I would eat a lot to put on some curves. Now I’m 38 and can’t believe I used to want to gain weight. 🤦🏼‍♀️ And sometimes I wonder if that is part of the reason I’ve gained weight after quitting smoking and have had trouble losing it again. I will have to try this after workouts!

My bestest friend was naturally very thin growing up and was very self conscious about it. People would be so rude with their comments and it was no surprise why she too wanted to gain weight! Well done for quitting smoking! That’s not easy! This is one of those exercises that I’m convinced makes a major difference and excited for you to try it!

The notification for this video has interrupted me watching the breakdown for this weeks’ intermediate online studio workout. I signed up for the trial today and started off with a beginner workout and dance cardio and felt so good afterwards. The music helps and not having to do 40 reps, which was putting me off metamorphosis! Starting tomorrow morning with intermediate DC and muscular structure: very excited!! I remember doing a visualisation after a Keli Roberts video I used to do. It was such a good end to a workout. Thanks for all your content on the TA method Rachel

That metamorphosis music is ATROCIOUS! So excited for you. Not familiar with Keli, but I should check that out! Also - for the record - intermediate this week may be the hardest yet! At least for the time I’ve been doing it! Someone was saying the other day that Beginner should probably be named something different bc it suggests that it’s easy and that’s far from the truth.

I know it may sound crazy, but you may experience like I did how hard it is to even imagine yourself how you want to look. But eventually you will and that’s where the magic begins!

New subscriber here... What are the best shoes for TA Cardio? I have very high arches. Finding footwear with support has been a challenge. I am currently trying her metamorphosis before subscribing.

Hey Melisha! Meta is a great place to start! That’s where I began and I recommend that for so many others. Do you have sneakers that your prefer for your workouts today that support your arches? That may be a good place to start. There are a pair I like for dance cardio bc they are extra bouncy “Nike zoom double stacked” but they are not good for the mat class bc they have a pointy backing that can scratch you! All that to say, if you have a preferred sneaker already - that will work just fine. And better yet, if you can find one that provides some bounce even better - just not necessary (in my opinion).
