When I was in my 30s I dropped 20 1bs because I moved to Europe and walked everywhere. It was amazing I had abs and everything just from walking. It blew my mind. I still drank wine and ate bread and cheese but mostly a lot of nuts, fruits and vegetables.

When I used to live in HK, I was in the best shape ever. It is a walking city. I will park my car and walked all over the city. I moved to the US and I started being sedentary, I drive everywhere and I live in a small town as my husband is now semi retired. I became a stay at home mom after my second child was born. Now as an empty nester, I am looking for ways to be more active. I need a job! Lol….

so true. When I was in both Kenya and Liberia I dropped 100 pounds each time. I mention this in my comment. I agree. Rethinking my daily routine.

Obviously, I was stating the area I moved to, not the country specifically that I was living in. I lived in 3 different countries in the EU during that time frame. Did I need to specifically name each one for you??

Less is more has really been key for me in perimenopause. I was always a high intensity gal, but I now find that doing what feels good each day is much more effective. Sometimes that’s rebounding, sometimes heavy lifting, sometimes deep stretching. Heck, sometimes it’s just turning my music up loud and dancing like nobody is watching. The point - for me anyway- is to listen to my body and take it easy when I need to so my cortisol levels don’t spike. I still struggle with intuitive eating, but intuitive exercise has been a game changer.

I had to double-take that I didn't write this comment already. 100% intuitive movement every day, and body definitely tells me when I'm ready to sprint or heavy lift (and I go hard as I want, stop when I want) and when I just feel like dancing to music. Best body I've ever had.

@SDot2385 Perimenopause is no joke! I’m going through it as well and my body is changing over night all the time. .. Listening to my body is new and key! I love you turn music on and dance around. I’ll do that this week 🕺🏻💃🏻❤️

Even before I entered perimenopause, if I worked out super intense my hunger would be so crazy...I'm on the cusp of full on menopause, and recently I've started working out again, less is more is super true! I literally have been exercising kinda high impact/intense for 15 minutes then I tone the intensity down and workout like 10 more minutes plus walking, and honestly quickest results I have ever had. Also I am being more mindful to have a proper fasting between my last meal of the day and first of the next day minimum of 12, I usually shoot for 13 1/2 to 14 hours, this has helped with excess bloating.

I went back to intuitive exercising and love it too!! Before I had set days every week for strength, cardio, hypertrophy, and I started having a lot of issues (mainly the hypertrophy session Friday nights would leave me trashed all weekend). When I used to exercise intuitively I would only train glutes hard maybe once every 2 weeks or when it felt deflated 😂 Doing it every week wiped me out, tightened my pelvic floor, and just made me feel unhappy. I pretty much see what equipment is available and think of what I feel like doing. So much better.

I have found when I walk and stick to gentler workouts, I get better results too. When I tried more intense workouts I would get crazy sugar cravings and then would end up having a harder time making healthier food choices. Whereas a long walk, can actually curb my appetite and has me craving fresh healthy foods like salads and fresh fruits.

Your husband is right but only when it comes to men. I went through the same. Followed my brother's workouts & that messed me up further. Followed how women workout ie mild strength training, rebounding, walking, yoga, pilates, dancing, aerobics, etc & with 50% less effort, I got into the best shape! This is so relatable! Thank you! 💕

It's true. Intensive sports are not suitable for many women. It causes them fatigue, severe hunger, and more. It all starts with the fact that the advice is tailored to the male body and they expect us to be men. Men hate women and at the same time think that we should be men (and blame women for it). On the other hand, men do everything to make women fat and ugly (and blame women for it). Both sides simply are not suited for women. A real woman has a delicate and slender body by nature. Not inflated and not fat! And we like delicate things. I wish the world was more feminine and not manly and full of terror....

I .observing the same right now. For years, I try to keep up and exercise with my husband, but it just doesn't work. But it is hard, bc as soon as I feel off my (own) regimen and I gain weight, my husband thinks that it is bc I don't exercise hard enough 🫣😂 and I tend to get stressed and getting back into those intense routines. This video is kind of perfect to remind me that my instincts might be right 🫶

Strange. Research shows while women aren’t as strong, we actually recover faster between workout sets and can continue with rigorous training for longer periods of time than male (i.e. maintaining a program for much more weeks with continued results). Edit: Check out Dr. Mike Israetel’s video on the training differences between men and women.

I am retired Navy and I use to work out to the point of death. Now I rebound, hula hoop, and use a Maxi Climber. I look and feel so much better. Thanks for this video🌸

Yes! 20 minutes of easy yoga makes me look way better than core power yoga. I swear I get swollen when I do hard workouts.

Walking is so amazing - I got so many compliments last summer when I was walking everyday. I complemented my strength training so well. I can’t wait for the weather to get warmer. I miss sunshine and long walks.

Thank you for this video!!! For years I’d go all in on HIIT exercises doing an hour a day, feeling like if I wasn’t about to die I wasn’t doing enough, but my body never looked like how I thought it should because of how intense my workouts were! I found the best results from walking and Pilates. I was talking to my husband about this just yesterday and came across your video today. Thank you for sharing your story!❤❤❤

Same! Our bodies are built differently from male bodies. All that intense working out works for a Jumpstart but not good for our bodies long-term.

Yeah, walks, baths, sleeping, rebound and sun helps me stay in shape. Also a bit pilates/yoga moves like calanetics.

Yes! This idea has been nagging me the last few years. I used to work out incredibly hard, and I had good results but I started losing fitness and the workouts were not working like they used to. I probably lapsed in my nutrition too. So, I worked out harder. No gains, in fact I felt like I was losing my fitness level, I could no longer handle any explosive movement, I couldn't do high knee runs anymore, lunges became painful. I was wondering what the hell was going on. Finally I had a muscle injury and had to recover. I came back slower and easier and loved it. I'm getting stronger than I was doing HIIT. My brain started nagging me to work out harder again but another little voice is telling me that won't work anymore. You are basically confirming what my subconscious had been trying to tell me for years. Thanks for the insight.

Yes! First of all, your skin looks AMAZING! As a perimenopausal woman who has done “intense” workouts for over a decade, I can confirm your theory. The cortisol and adrenaline that gets spiked when you’re pushing super hard defeats the effects. Always good to see you. Thanks for another great video! ❤

I can attest to everything in this video, for I went through the EXACT same thing. I, too, had surgery and was petrified that I would gain weight due to not being able to work out, and I literally started walking at home while watching TV - and within literally a couple weeks, I was seeing my abs. At the tender age of 47... Now, I have always been petite, but as time went by, the leanness was harder and harder to attain and then maintain. Now I walk every day and do yoga (a mix of power yoga and a lot of stretching), and... it's so easy. :) I wouldn't have believed it had I not experienced it, but I hope your viewers will give it a try. :)

Do you know how much you walk typically? I know a lot of people recommend 10k steps so just curious what you did. I work from home so trying to get enough steps is a challenge.

@@vanessahobbes3072 According to my steps app, I average between 13K to 18K per day. I work from home, too, and whenever I can work from my phone (as in, I don't have to sit at my laptop), I put on some 170 to 180 BPM workout music, and just walk in my living room. The music keeps me moving pretty fast, so I get those steps in quicker.

@@oxoelfoxo Nope. I have been calorie counting for 20 years, working out since I was 4 (I started as a teeny tiny gymnast). Before I switched to walking and yoga as my main means of exercise, I had been doing a lot of cardio and weighted exercises. So it didn't happen because I suddenly started doing something after not doing anything. LOL The main difference for me, I believe, was the fact that high impact exercises were tough on my joints and weights were tough on my muscles, so something was constantly inflamed, keeping me from getting lean again.

I’m less than 2 months away from surgery that will prevent me from exercising for at least 6 weeks. I’ve been doubling down on harder workouts and my biggest result has been debilitating fatigue. Hard workouts have been my mindset for 30 years. It’s so hard to let go and do easier workouts.

Absolutely, Rachel's "smarter, not harder" concept is spot on! Here's my input based on personal experience and professional practice. I recently got myself a Fitbit to keep myself accountable. Walking 15,000+ steps a day, incorporating more strength training, and using the Callanetics technique (for those in the know!) has been a game changer. This method worked wonders for me after my firstborn, helping me bounce back into shape. Over a decade later, I've returned to it and am seeing inches lost in all the right places! I also swear by an anti-inflammatory diet. It’s been crucial in maintaining my health and managing inflammation. Additionally, I do a lymphatic drainage exercise daily, which takes just a few minutes and has significantly helped reduce bloating around my midriff. Strengthening the knees, feet, and glutes is another gem I’ve picked up. It's amazing how much these areas can contribute to overall well-being and mobility. Thank you for sharing this valuable information. This approach really does work!

I agree. I'm 46 and in pretty good shape. I've also struggled a lot with body issues but life has a way of making you reassess your priorities (experiencing illness; witnessing death etc). NoweI'm just happy to be alive! I'm more focused on maintaining strength and functional mobility rather than appearance, and it feels great! Hunger fluctuates so my golden rule is to eat when I'm genuinely hungry and never when I feel full. This means cutting out the emotional aspect of eating and just listening to the body to give it the nourishment and energy it needs. I spent my 20s & 30s trying all sorts of different things and it was such a valuable process in discovering what sort of movement works for me! I'm a yoga girl at heart and found that lower intensity works a lot better for me.

Appreciate your recognition that different methods work for different people. I'm 65 so I'm careful to stay low-impact and not overstress my body. I think you are really onto something about how inflammatory an intense workout can be. I'm going through a stressful season in life so I'd love to see a video on yoga, meditation, or more on tapping. For now, my mental health is my top priority so yoga and tai chi feel particularly good, though I still get cardio with walking and resistance training. Have a great week, Rachel!

Loved listening to this. I’m 48 and sometimes I gotta choose sleep over working out. For example my little boy had baseball practice last night and I got to bed a little late so this morning I just did a quick 20 min workout so I could sleep in just a bit longer. My motto is something is always better than nothing. Also…pedicure. My feet must look pretty at all times. What’s crazy about this is I hate wearing open toe shoes even in the summer. No one typically sees me feet but me but that makes a world of difference for me when I look down and my feet look good 👍🏼 😂❤

I have had inflammatory bowel disease for 18 years and was in a bad flare last winter. I lost 15 lbs in a month but then was hospitalized and on steroids, so I gained back 20 lbs in the next few months. With all my flares, I can lose even 50 lbs and spent most of my 20’s in the 80-90 lb range. It is so hard having my body constantly change and not be able to get used to a certain size. My closets are insane haha I am uncomfortable now (like you) but then I thank God that I am not hospital sick and I am still alive. This body of mine is just a vessel that takes me through life but it is my inner self that people really love and see. Just remember that, Rachel! You are so much more than your body!

Absolutely - it's weird but as we get older we "get" to workout with less intensity - I love it! I wonder if even as a young woman - it would be as beneficial to use the "easier" workouts... This may be revolutionary for women. We've been taught to work out like men for so long... :D

25 year old here it most definitely is. I quit intense workouts about 5 years ago and never looked and felt better. I am finding slow and steady works best for me when it comes to anything be in skincare, studying etc...

This is SO true. I finished running D1 ncaa cross country / track 2 years ago so my life was literally centered around INTENSE exercise and now I do lots of walking, Pilates, and heavy weights once a week and my hormones // hunger has been WAY better. Less is more for sureeee!!!!

I’m loving your videos Rachel. You are funny and natural. Less is definitely more. The best I ever looked was through fast paced walking and climbing steps. Didn’t even realise how great I looked. Now 18 years later, I’m 52 and I’ve lost a lot weight as I really let myself go for many years. I’m eating perfectly and exercising a lot. Yours is the first video amongst hundreds that really resonated with me. Reminded me, although our bodies are very different, less intensity exercise and balanced nutrition is my way to feeling and looking good. Not abusing my body and flogging it to death, but giving it what it needs and treating it kindly. Please do more videos promoting your way and your opinions. You rock ❤

We are all so different in every aspect. The hugest key is to figure out what works best for yourself. And it’s important to remember that & not try to tell others they need to do what works for YOU. I am definitely more like you-hard core workouts definitely work against me. I definitely struggle with body image too. I am now 51 & gained weight thru menopausal. I am now focusing more on my health & how I’m feeling. But yes I do want to look good too, I just can’t let it be the most important thing & end up harming myself in order to look good.

I agree! I have had the same experience and when I first noticed the more gentle my workouts were, the better my results were… I literally ignored it and told myself I was crazy. I was so conditioned to believe, like so many of us are, to “go hard or go home” or you’re wasting your time! Even if the results were the same, honestly mentally, I enjoy my low impact, gentle workouts soooo much more! I look forward to it every day where as before; not one were the results not showing when I was killing myself, I hated every single second and did not enjoy it. It’s hard to maintain something when there is no joy in it!

Yes! I have fatigue symptoms and can't do high intensity anymore so i started low impact more through necessity but it def works. I'm seeing toning and i can maintain my routine without falling off it because workouts are tough and mentally exhausting. Love this content!

Both you and your hubby are right - for him, ‘go hard or go home’ is working, for you it wasn’t - it’s possible for two things to be right at the same time. I think this is exactly what I needed to hear because I’m ‘gearing up’ and really listening to my body will be key. You may have explained why in the past when I fell off the work out wagon I would lose 5 lbs and be dumbfounded

Thankyou so much for sharing this! I have boulimia nervosa (eating disorder where you binge but need to compensate it with excessive cardio) and this helped me soooo much!! I was very skeptical about it because i also have the mentality of “go big or go home” but this has been making my life so much better!! Can’t thankyou enough for this ❤❤❤❤

I loved this! When I looked the best and felt the best in my life I was never doing hours of cardio or hardcore workouts. And tbh I pretty much ate whatever I wanted. However…bc I was looking so good which in turn had me feeling so good, it had a huge impact. I didn’t find myself overeating, I would easily balance eating better with eating what I wanted. It wasn’t a struggle or a conscious effort. There is really something to the mind and body connection, of that I am sure. When you look good, you feel good. And you feel better when you are moving your body and being more engaged in being active. It’s a chain reaction that I can’t imagine doesn’t positively affect our hormones and everything else. And dance cardio 100%.

Oh my gosh, YES!! Lately after workouts I am just always soooo HUNGRY. It makes me nuts I’m just insatiable. I’ve been doing softer work outs but recently started doing more heavy lifting and listening to this and reading the comments affirms that I should return to more soft workouts. I sooooo relate to this! Thank you for sharing it. It’s hard for me to accept because a big part of me wants to be able to do kick ass workouts. I enjoy it in the moment but just like you, I feel sick & inflamed & ravenously hungry the rest of the day. And like you, my husband doesn’t get it.

I am so glad aboit this Video. I started to go to a gym two months ago. I tried different classes. Some make me so hungry and stressed out. I have the feeling some of the young male trainers have no idea about my 47 years old female body after three pregnancys and a really weak core. As my legs and arms are not as weak they try to push me to core workouts that are just too intense yet. I realized i need gentle consistent workouts that are nice to my body and help me to make better eating choices. Walking and hiking are great for me too.

This!!!! Thank you for throwing this out into the universe. I used to work out/weight lift like a fiend. I was ravenous CONSTANTLY, and also chronically fatigued. I switched to beginner workout videos/fast walking and life is soooo much better. I look relatively the same, but have more energy and no longer think about food 24/7

This has been so true for me after having a child. It took 3 years postpartum for me to finally realize that less is more!! And people seriously underestimate how intense "easy" workouts can be.. the pilates workouts I've been getting into are WAY harder than all the heavy lifting and hiit sessions i used to do

Great message I think more need to hear! I am pretty happy with my current workout routine, just trying to clean up my nutrition. I've gotten sloppy and my waistline knows it! I recently cut back on the coffee and am concentrating on eating more whole foods, less processed. Thanks for the fantastic video!

I agree with you! less is more has worked for me since I was 32 and went to the gym every single day and did all these hard workouts, only to realize I was gaining weight and felt so anxious, so I gradually realized I didn't feel good and started doing yoga which was far better for me, so yes! Totally happens, maybe because of age and hormones changing....what do I know! Love you videos, they're so funny and relatable 😄

It is crazy how I am running into your videos on youtube when I just started the low impact workouts instead of going hard at the gym. I have been feeling frustrated with having little results when I am going heavier and more intense. I opted for rebounding for my hurting joints and low impact workouts and I am loving it. I did 75 soft for 75 days and my workouts were very low impact and minimal. Cannot believe how the compound effect of getting even a little something in was transformative. There’s gotta be something to this!

I am feeling you so much on this. I’m currently trying to cut how long and hard I workout and concentrate more on diet. I was feeling like I was killing myself and was completely exhausted and so sore I could barely move. Just all to look how I think I should look. Right now just trying to concentrate on being healthy. Also struggle with body image. A day at a time!

I found you by accident but I can relate to this so much! I am working out for the last few years and for me what helped is to be more about body functions and strength than the look of it. I know how it sounds but for the first time in my life I like to workout and miss when I am not doing it. Barre was an “easy” workout that made wonders for me, shape wise, and I recommend to anyone.

OMG I can completely relate to your story and your body image issues! I used to Spin 5 days a week (I know crazy) and although I loved the 'high" I felt from spinning, my body was constantly inflamed. It got so bad that at one point I had to stop spinning altogether. That's when I found the Tracy Anderson Method and my body completely changed. Although her method isn't "easy" by any means, I didn't feel the stress that spinning was putting on my body. In fact, the method leaned me out and gave me the body I felt comfortable in. I did TAM for 5 years and after a 3.5 year hiatus I'm back! Today my workouts include Pilates, TAM and lots of walking (lucky to live in a walking city). Great video! Thanks for sharing your experience 💜

Whew this video took me on an internal journey! I’ve been a low-impact, long distance walking person for awhile but the holidays did a number on my diet and I haven’t been able to get back on track. I realized that stress at work was my biggest enemy a few weeks ago and started sleeping more, but I still have a bottomless pit appetite - I get to be one of those people for whom cortisol triggers appetite rather than shutting it down. So I’ve been in a negative spiral since the new year - it’s dark and cold so I don’t want to walk outside, I’m exhausted from work so I don’t want to go to the gym, and all I want to do is EAT. I know my long-term solution is to get a less stressful job, but I’m lost about how to get a short-term solution in motion. I’m going to watch more of your content while at work today in hopes of absorbing some inspiration.

Hey there, you may wanna add ginger into your diet. I found it to be refreshing and it suppresses hunger, plus helps the immune system. If you have a lamp for pure essential oils, the citrus ones, especially mandarine, help to lighten up mood and motivation (from a friend who is a certified aroma therapist). You also may wanna look up info about ghrelin, its the hormone that triggers hunger to find out more about he cause. Or increase protein and healthy fats (pls look up Dr Pelz here on this) and reduce carbs. The first two make you feel happily satiated. ❤

It took me so much longer than it's taken you to figure this out! Walking, Hamelin D'Abell (learned about his workouts from you), Physique57 (barre workouts with cardio intervals - I need variety!), short indoor cycling sessions (15-20 minutes a couple of times a week), and a grain-free diet make me feel amazing. I am long post-menopause, and with this way of working out and eating, I'm the same weight I was in my 20s and 30s.

We are also in St Petersburg. It's great you have your dad to walk with..... I love doing walkie/talkies:) My two active dogs insure I get a couple longer walks each day.... being outside helps in so many ways. My rebounder is on the Lanai, which I love, since it gives me more exercise outside. Thanks for introducing me to d-abell workouts, never heard of that before.

I’m a recovering HIIT gal and have just really decided it isn’t for me anymore. I am naturally really athletic and am looking for something to accentuate my femininity. Thank you for your transparency! My journey is so similar. I’ve always been slim but I feel like I’m supposed to be doing more. I gain weight and feel terrible when I push myself. Grounding, napping, walking, and being mindful have helped me look and feel my best more than anything. I’m 40 and people think I’m 20❤

I relate to all of this including body image issues! I used to be very fit and able to do intense, long workouts but the same thing would happen to me as I approached my mid to late 30’s: inflamed, appetite increased, sore, hormones thrown off especially my adrenals getting burned out. Now that I’m 40 my workouts HAVE to be different and easier workouts that balance my hormones. I’m trying to find the exact right workouts for my body that will allow me to help me lose some extra weight, reduce inflammation, feel energized and vibrant as well as toned. Thank you for speaking into this! Not enough women are talking about all of this. Great video!🙏

loved this!!!! I had a similar epiphany when I gave up running for an hour each day, about 12 years ago. I was just feeling over it and told myself if you stop running and gain 10 lbs you will live, but I loved not having to do the pavement grind. I started ballet classes and did not ever gain weight. since then I have done TA and ballet beautiful, walks and rebounding. As for diet, what cured my bloating and IBS after so much trial and error and non-inflamatory diets is carnivore. I gave up huge salads with protein and just eat meat primarily and my bloating went away. My gastro docor told me salad and so much fiber is very hard on the digestive system and I should just eat cooked veg. Well I hate cooked veg and just cut out veg and found a whole health community about carnivore. I am not perfect but eating primarily protein and fat without fiber got rid of my bloating.

​@@emmaashburn3373it's not that the fruits are inflammatory, it's that you have zero fibre for water to hold onto and bulk. This is a fairly messed up way for women to think about their bodies. A completely flat abdomen generally means you have very little fibre and very little estrogen. Neither is a good thing.

@@Mikathedog100 fiber makes me miserable. A small amount of fruit is ok but more than that flares up my IBS. I forced myself to eat fiber for years because that's what I was told and I always had a stomach ache and constipation. And too much of anything except meat and eats causes joint pain and skin break outs. So yes, it is inflammatory for me and you have no right to tell me it's not because you don't live in my body.

Read "Fast Like a Girl" by Dr. Mindy Pelz. It is incredible information about fasting and how the woman's cycle should be addressed with fasting and even certain foods during different times of the month. I don't agree with all her nutrition information, but the general concept of fasting to address woman's needs is awesome. I caught her on Mel Robbins podcast and this is a good place to start if you don't want to read the book. Highly recommend.

I have been working hard for a month in circuit and Pilates reformer and gained 3 lbs. I feel swollen so this makes so much sense. I also have body dysmorphia so this is quite challenging

Great video! I appreciate your candor. For the scalp problem buy Queen of Thrones roll on castor oil. U can use /roll it directly on your scalp. It’s anti inflammatory & helps with all kinds of skin problems as well as a great detoxifier for the liver. I use it all over & even as a moisturizer. Plus it’s been known to stimulate hair growth. I use it on my eye brows as well as my eyelashes too❤

I LOVE HIIT! I still do one every once in a while for the feeling it gives me, but I can't deny that TA Method has gotten me the results I wanted but wasn't getting with HIIT & doesn't leave me with that ravenous hunger that I would sometimes experience after HIIT workouts.

I've experienced similar stuff. I used so express my self-hatred and not acceptance by not sleeping enough while pushing my body to its limit and dieting, wondering while I didn't look the way I wanted to and always felt like sht. It was truly crazy, sleeping four to five hours and then pushing my body to the max in such a state through hiit and intense strength training. For me though, part of the problem was also my body missing big amounts of magnesium. So a few weeks after I've started taking it, my anxiety disappeared and my sleep improved A LOT, my pms symptoms vanished and the cramps did, too. I am much more resistant to stress. Now, after watching your video, I realized by looking back, how much easier I lost extra weight and fitter I was and looked three years ago, when I just did moderate strength training three times a week for appr. 30 minutes. Now, that I am out of my slump, I just want to do constant but moderate work outs. And one huge thing that has also changed is: even though I may have a few extra pounds now compared to a few years ago, I still like seeing myself in the mirror most of the time! 😊 Huge thing since I also have struggled with body image issues pretty much my whole life. I am writing "most of the time", because the only time when I don't feel gorgeous is the week before my cycle starts again, and I do bloat up a bit then due to water retention. But knowing this is a big game changer, because if you know that you can talk yourself through these negative thoughts, saying "its okay, I haven't gained weight, I am still the same dang sexy thing, its JUST the hormones. So hormones: stfu." 😂 One huge thing that I have incorporated too for gut and hormonal health is to "Fast like a girl" (book) according to Dr. Mindy Pelz (she's here on yt as well). Surprise, we were never supposed to fast like men are able to! Should be a mandatory info for every woman with/with some/without a cycle out there!! Thank you for your video, it was encouraging me to move forward with my new, old fitness plan. ❤

This is SO RELATEABLE!! At my skinniest, I did pilates workouts on whatever body part I felt like that day (or sometimes multiple body parts if I felt like it), and made extremely healthy food choices and walked on a treadmill. Got married, had a baby, and tried all those super hard David Goggins type things you said you did and have just come to the realization that it's not getting me the results I want. Been going back to low impact pilates this past week and already it's doing wonders for me. I plan to incorporate walking again also. This video resonates so much with my experiences also!!!

I've actually had the same experience. I was actually was searching for more easy workouts when your video popped up. I used to do HIIT and Les Mills type workouts at the gym. I always ended up feeling bloated after even a small sip of water. I was expending so much energy with no results. Now its been 6 months since I began doing low impact work-outs and my stomach no longer gets bloated after every meal and my arms finally look more toned. My favorite type of workouts are walking, Pilates, and barre plus I also do 8:16 intermittent fasting.

For me it’s been coming up with Non-negotiables. Things I know that I do not want to skip, they will even make me feel better like walking on the treadmill ( the same Megan The Stallion music helps) stretching, that twisty machine you kneel on (I kick up the weight and do a slow twist and I promise you that’s where my abs are coming from) I could do all the things or I could just do those three things. That’s how I stay consistent. Chances are I’ll feel great after walking and I’ll just keep working out.
