I have a good tip u can use if u want to improve the outer side of your calve more quickly...when u are on the calve press turn ur feet inwards a little and u feel it on the outer side of your calf more and if u want to improve the inner side of your calve put your feet outwards and it will work that side alot more

That movement is useless, you need to go high rep with super heavy weight in the rock bottom leg press and do some seated leg curls done to failure. You cant really go to failure doing this dumbass movement. Seems most people fear going to failure, that is the main reason most people are small.

I've learned over the years that the secret to getting well developed legs is to get your strength level to the point where you can do a lot of reps with 400 pound squat and just not try to progress to ridiculous squat weights like 500-600+ because there is no need. 400 pounds for a lot of reps where the last 4-8 reps is burning your quads is the path to great quads.

If you want your legs to grow you've got to smash them 2 or 3 times per week. Split them between hams/quads workouts.
@bbrockRailFan
@bbrockRailFan 4 года назад
@@housinauthority5258 No offense but if you can train your legs 2 to 3 times a week either you have no life outside the gym or you plain are not training them even close to failure. Most people work 8 to 12 hours at least 5 days a week. Welcome to the adult world. I am thinking you are a youngster that doesnt have much of a job with very littler responsibility. I personally dont think its healthy to be in the gym everyday and its not realistic. Of course if I was not doing any of my sets even close to failure then I could do this. But what is the point. I seriously doubt you are getting the size that I currently have. I dont see too many people doing the things I do. If you are training your legs this many times a week you are probably holding back.

Have you ever tried splitting your quad and hamstrings into two seperate workouts? It allows you to give 100% effort to both of them and get in higher volume.
@ajzubek9106
@ajzubek9106 4 года назад
Owen Jessop been doing this the past year/year and a half and i wish i started years earlier fr. shit made a LOAD of a difference. allows you to finish 20-25 hard working sets every 5-6 days. not to mention its way easier to stretch and contract your quads/hamstrings when the opposing muscle isnt pumped as well.
@nattybynature1262
