Her child screaming KILLED me. All Karen’s neighbors agreed that SHE was the problem. The fact that she pleaded not guilty is INSANE and she deserves life in prison.

That's not manslaughter, she's a murderer. She needs to be in prison for the rest of her life for what she did

You can see that bullet hole right through the door…horrible. This woman new exactly what she was doing. I can’t imagine the trauma the one son is suffering being there when it happened. Her children have a long road ahead. I can’t even imagine.

I saw the body cam of the calls leading up to this and it’s so sad …. This was one of the most senseless shootings I’ve ever seen.

If you cannot live with children playing outside, it is time you move to a home. I happen to love hearing children's voices playing outside.

I have seen body cam videos of this lady on multiple channels because of her threatening the kids in the neighborhood. It is sad the city didn't do more to protect the neighborhood. They could of made her get an evaluation at least or move her to a nursing home where there is No kids.

The cop actually said "how you doing maam" and told another cop to cuff her in the front. WHY? No one else gets these niceties accorded to them!

They should have immediately gotten a detective that specializes in kids to question them. He had zero empathy and would have gotten further if he had approached that questioning differently.

This is so sad, never needed to happen. I hope she gets maximum jail time. The mothers poor kids and the neighbours are going to carry this with them for a long time. Just horrible.

This is not a dispute between neighbors, this is a racist homicidal psychopath who targeted her neighbors.

This woman has been on internet videos harassing these kids & families for months. I can't tell you the number of videos & body cam footage I have seen of this woman screaming at and attacking these kids for playing in that open area behind her apartment. Cops had been there multiple times to tell the woman that the kids were ok to play there. The woman kept going & kept going. This was the inevitable result cuz the cops did nothing to protect these families.

After watching all of the body cam videos they have released of her when she was calling on the kids and the parents and making all of those complaints oh, I would not be surprised if her attorney tries to have her declared mentally incompetent. I wholeheartedly believe that she is definitely not 100% there but just as sure as I am of that I am sure she knew what she was doing when it comes to killing that woman! That was not self-defense through a locked door. She had been waiting for that woman to come over there or somebody to do what she did.

Dad did great supporting his son while talking to the officer. He didn’t diminish his emotions, he told him he was doing great, he stayed calm and composed. I really hope his son and all of the children are doing okay. It’s gonna be a long road after something so traumatic

I'd seen other vids about this insane woman but I definitely hadn't seen she shot and killed a mother who was knocking on her door. Crazy old bat obviously finally completely lost her mind and no longer valued the life of another person. She could have moved, had the property owner submit an actual no trespassing warning, etc. She thought she was going to take on the entire neighborhood herself. I don't like hearing children screaming or playing in my yard while screaming but I'm not going outside to scream at them, call them horrific names, etc. Kids are kids and it's GREAT they are actually playing outside with neighbor friends. That doesn't happen enough anymore. I hope they locked her up and threw away the key. I believe that resident when he said she's no longer safe in that neighborhood. Claiming she's not guilty just proves how delusional and ignorant this murderer is.

I’m buying a house next year and this is why I’m so nervous to move in next to certain types of neighbors that may hate me before I even open my mouth. When I was moving into the place I’m renting now, this old white guy thought I was robbing the place smh.

This should be a message to everyone to get control of your emotions and call the police even if you have too repeatedly over and over. A 22 is one of the most dangerous round to be hit with. It can bounce around inside your body and do a lot of internal injuries. Shooting thru a door is also dangerous because you don't know your target. She could have hit on of the children out there.

This poor little boy. Jesus my heart just BROKE watching him try to gather himself to talk to the police. And I feel awful for the police as well, having to take witness statements from this terrified little boy who watched this shooting. 😢 I know many police who are parents & have to keep that side of them closed as they are involved in horrible scenes like this. She's worried about her damned house getting secured, "because too much stuff in there..." No "oh my god what have I done?" Not wanting to be confronted because of your bad/aggressive behavior towards children does not give you the right to shoot to kill. If you’re a responsible gun owner and want to protect yourself from someone, shoot them in the arm, foot, or shoulder. She knew this lady, this wasn’t a stranger. She knew exactly why she was upset and coming to her house. The victim wasn’t knocking on her door with a pistol but she answered her door with one. She had no intention of solving the problem peacefully.

My heart breaks for Ajike, but even more for all of those kids--especially her kids. They have all been traumatized for months. They screamed out for help but the cops repeatedly ignored them. RIP Ajike. Healing blessings & positive thoughts to the babies.

I am a fairly “cold” person. Not many emotions and very rarely tears. But hearing those children was absolutely gut wrenching. Those poor babies will never be the same. They don’t know it yet but their childhood as they know it is over. They won’t ever feel safe enough to play or even have simple disagreements. That’s super sad.

I watch a lot of these police videos. I’m really dismayed at how much silence was in this video. What were they saying inside the house, that it couldn’t be played on the video? Most other videos I watch, they just block out pertinent information, without having to silence a whole section of video.

Apparently I’m the only one seeing concern how the officer is using his weapon mounted light as a hand held flashlight.😮 I see some training needed for officers as well. Weapon should have been re holstered and NEVER used as a flashlight, the muzzle definitely pointed at others while running to squad car. 🤦🏻 accidental/reckless discharge waiting to happen.
