Elvis was physical perfection with sizzling charisma, a wonderful, generous heart, along with an awesome laugh and sense of humor. He had a voice from Heaven and sang with more passion and power than anyone I've ever seen. I could watch him in that black leather all day long. At the same time, listening to him sing hymns soothes the soul like none other.
I know what you mean, I started liking Elvis in 1960 when I heard him on my Dad's car radio when I was 5. Growing up I never told my friends. But I bought every song & went to his movies. On Saturday's I'd walk to the movie theater when an Elvis movie was playing. The cost was 10 cents. Funny story Elvis in one of his album pictures he wore a small scarf around his neck. I wore a scarf around my neck the next day to school. Nobody said anything, but a few days later seems like everyone was wearing a scarf around their neck. Wish you the best.

I am 75 years old and I went to see Elvis he is and was mesmerizing you couldn't take your eyes off of him. You young ladies are silly, but I love it. I first heard Elvis in 1956 when I was 9, someone had a radio on and all of a sudden "Hound Dog" came on and I just like that, I discovered "rock 'n roll". A few years ago on a trip with a buddy we stopped and visited Graceland and in the parking lot one of the signs read..."You had me at Hound Dog"...I felt the same way. I got to see The Beatles, the Stones, and Dylan and Joan Baez back in the day, but I never got to see Elvis.
Damn, that was funny - I watched 3 in a row: 9 yr olds, teens and adult ladies.😂😂😂 I am 70, and had been a fan since the beginning of his career. He died while I was traveling in Germany. He was very popular there so I knew something terrible had happened when I saw the huge headlines. I bought a newspaper and took hours to read it because my German was very poor. Everyone seemed stunned and subdued. Still sad.

There are quite a few You Tube channels showing re colourised b/w pictures of Cherokee's & they're all stunning looking.

Meknows because I saw over 100 shows, kissed those marshmallow lips many-a-time, received a teddy bear and 6 scarves (covered in the scent of Brut), and even attended his after-the-late-show parties! There will never be another...

React to "Fever" Aloha concert 1973 that was broadcasted around the world and seen by 1.5 Billion people. This was one that girls went crazy including me in 3rd row center. He did a rehearsal version but the one that was broadcasted around the world was the best. He was wearing a yellow lei, a red/white lei n red scarf. I think he was 38 years old( 4 years prior to his death) PLEASE FIND THIS ONE. I love to see young people listening to the best entertainer of all time.

OMG Susan, how lucky were you to have seen Elvis in the Aloha concert live and the “FEVER” song and “TEASE” he did was absolutely phenomenal. It’s one of my favorite songs and videos!! What a kick he got out of all the girls and ladies screaming. He’s constantly grinning and looking back at the band enjoying the reactions he’s getting. LOL. He had it ALL and he knew it!! 🥰. Welp, I don't know how your video ended up on my computer screen, but anyways...you girls cracked me up and brought back a lot of memories. Especially the lady in the middle. I grew up in the Elvis era and let me tell ya, the women, and men too, including me loved Elvis Presley. Whatever "it" is, he had it. Thats for sure. And I'll be damned if anyone has ever had as much of "it" since. Yup, he sure was something else. You gals should do more of this kind of video to his comeback special. I remember watching that live on TV, I was 12 yrs old. My mother and sisters were blubbering messes when he did his thing.
@@theatremomhope609 LOL. The way you react to this reminds me of my mother. I was 15 yrs old in 1968 and I remember watching this comeback special on our 15 inch black and white TV. My mother lived and breathed Elvis Presley, and let me tell ya, she was a blubbering mess while watching this show. My grandmother on the other hand, thought he was the Devil himself in the flesh. One thing for sure though, whatever "it" is, Elvis had it from here to the moon and back.
The audience here were collected that morning from dinner's and restaurants, because Tom Parker Elvis's manager, didn't sell any he demanded all the tickets and never sold any, Tom Parker wanted this live show to fail, but they found out about the double cross, they managed to fill it up.xxxx

I can tell you that my grandmother was an Elvis fan. I'm not sure she would have been as open with her thoughts as I am. Lol. My husband is a huge Elvis fan, he is a singer/performer. I actually got married at Graceland.

Oh good lord no! I'm in the middle of rehearsals with two different shows. This was an 8 hour day at the theatre, with some downtime, so we thought it would be fun. Nope the kids education comes first. Lol
