This is the video about the paper work which was on the second day of bootcamp. Sorry kind of a boring video but I had a few people ask for it! So here you go!
I really have enjoyed this series of videos that you are making. I just was accepted into the apprenticeship program with my local and it will be fun to follow you along on your apprenticeship at the same time im progressing through mine. Best of luck to you, and thank you so much for taking the time to put these videos together!
Journeyman EL 01 here, try not to stress you will get called soon. We need more guys who are willing to work and learn. No better trade to get into and very rewarding.
Thanks for the videos, I just passed my test and I’m waiting for a date to interview. I’m stressing pretty bad but your videos are extremely helpful. Hopefully everything’s going well and your on your way to a second year apprentice!
So I had my interview yesterday, I was super nervous. I’m not sure how I did but they used the same apprenticeship interview rating form that you can find online so I literally had practiced all of the questions that they asked.
I interviewed a couple of weeks ago for local 191, I was placed on the eligibility list at #41. Do you think there’s a realistic chance of getting accepted? Or should I go through the process of re-interviewing
41 isn’t bad! It’s pretty good actually. You’re not eligible for a reinterview for at least 6 months so just Be patient! I wouldn’t be surprised if you were called in the next few months or weeks!
Submitted my application, and prepping for app test with Local 351. This information is important to me, if I get the opportunity. I currently make more money than an apprentice in a white collar healthcare job. Married, with a house and responsibilities. Jumping to zero pay than lower pay for a year is going to be difficult. Curious your thoughts on the AAS degree and the Scholarship loan? What are those about?
That’s great! Some people just aren’t cut out for the office life. This is a blue-collar job at white-collar pay. You should be making close to what you’re making now within a couple years. Also our healthcare is unmatched. I have a few friends Who work at the hospital and they say our healthcare is better than theirs.
I wanna get called too! You’re on top though, so you don’t have any reason to worry. You’ll get your call in no time. I’m ranked #105. I may have to re-apply. :(
@@dustinvaldeztv hey it’s all good even if you do have to reapply, you know the process now!! And got experience for the interview and what not 👏🏻 just a waiting game to start the life career, thankfully I’m doing electrical now so my hours already count towards pay raises / apprenticeship hours before I even get a call
@@SparkysJourney yeah it isn’t terrible I guess I just really thought I’d move down on the list not up 😂 but I am still doing electrical now for non union company anyways so I’m still learning and hours count
What’s a good email address for you? I am about to start my 3rd year and I made a sticker I would like to send you. It’s the 12 ohm’s law formulas boiled down to one formula.
