This 5 minute box breathing exercise, is a simple relaxation technique that helps you to calm your mind and body at times of stress, anxiety or panic. Following this simple exercise for as long as you need until you feel a sense of calm restored. As you do it will engage your parasympathetic response, your rest and digest state helping you restore calmness and control.
In my clinical practice, we combine solution focused talking therapy with hypnosis to help clients overcome many emotional and physical struggles which are caused by or made worse by anxiety or stress. It’s a powerful combination of psychotherapy and hypnosis which means change can happen in a relatively short period of time.

I’m registered with professional bodies, (AfSFH-Reg, MNCH-Reg, CNHC-Reg, MNCP), and I’m committed to the highest standards, following a professional code of conduct.

Thank you Andrew, I do this a few times a day and it has really helped me :) My favorite line is "imagine just simply breathing around a box and regain a sense of calmness" which it does,. Andrew makes it easy.
