Thank you for showing this! Where I work we use the Stihl blowers for sidewalk snow removal anything beats a shovel. BR600 BR550 and a BR500 the oldest is the 600 it's about 6 years old. The 550 and 500 were bought the day a snow storm was due to hit about 5 years ago and they were the only ones in stock. I know exactly what you are talking about with having a good relationship with your outdoor equipment dealer. I treated myself to a early Christmas present yesterday I went to my local dealer and bought the BR800X it was $612 out the door. I still get excited when I get something new like the BR800 or even when we get something new at work.

This saved me a lot of headaches! I was trying to thread the rope into the coil in the opposite direction and was losing my mind. Thanks for the thorough walkthrough!

What size string are you using for the br600? Thanks for your vid but I’m learning that this kind of string is generally available in 3, 4, 5 or 6mm widths.

Book Says 37.8 inches for the string. I cut it to length before starting. Good video though, I learned some things from it.

When I put my starter on I either couldn't pull it or I could pull it and it wouldn't retract. I'm thinking I must have not put the spacers on and it is probably too tight.

What size string is that

dude it would be a great help if you walked over to the Darn camera and tried to show exactly what you are talking about we can't see anything that you are doing ijs!
