Ange had to work fast in his first season and the seconemd season we had negotiated transfers before the window. Ange had to rush initially as we had a full rebuild and in the second season we dealt with cheaper markets so it was easier to do quick deals.We have signed 4 players already but i consider those players newly graduated apprentice footballers.Rodgers doesnt have a full rebuild and he can use the entire window which closes on 1 September to get the experienced marquee signings in. We cant risk another Ajeti Barkas or McCarthy

I hope the delay in signing players is because they are needing scout a different level of player than those already in the dossier when Rodgers arrived.

Yeah I am really concerned , ccv and AJ are vital to that defence that was proven towards the end of the season.

If we brought back Tierney on loan (and I dinnae hink we should), then it's possible we could use him as a centre back with Taylor at left back when both were fit.

Turnbull can make more of a contribution this season than Haksabanovic. Both lacking pace, but Turnbull better at picking a pass or scoring from long range.

Defence is a major issue, we need another cd and I love GT but I think if we can get kT that would take us to the next level, we need another Rb as well because Ralston just not good enough to challenge Aj and cover either. Hacksa ? The jury is out on him.

Tierney would improve things for 2 positions. MJ CCV Tierney Taylor or MJ CCV Starfelt Tierney are both better than MC CCV Starfelt Taylor. Plus he ensures an injury doesn't mean Koboyashi or Bernabei are the cover in those positions as it becomes Starfelt or Taylor. And those 2 are fine if Tierney was injured. The jump downward to Bernabei and Koboyashi is the concern. But Tierney still only makes sense on loan.

After seeing the recent game. Hart worries me, & Siegrist who I want to see more of, from what I’ve witnessed both keepers put me on edge for the season ahead. We need a new number One GK. This talk I hear of new defenders I think we can Utilise what we have. I’d like to see more of Welsh.. Yuki I’m not to sure on. Bernabei I agree definitely not a LB. I’d like to also see a change in formation and have 4-4-2. Kyogo & OH followed by Tilio, Abada on the wings McGregor, Hatate, O,Reily ( midfield ) Taylor, CCV, Starfelt, Johnston GK….🍀💚

I don't think we would be worried if Ange was still here and we would be assuming the signings we have made were going to be a success and were part of his plan. I just don't feel the same with Rodgers and think he is a step back. He doesn't really have a system or philosophy as such and depends more on his players to get him results. The worry for me is we start playing like we did in Rodgers second and third season pedestrian as you say. That won't be good enough to win the league nowadays. I fear we may be in for a bit of a slog this year unfortunately and there us a danger of underestimating the amount of points rangers will pick up against the other teams.
