For real, also, I’ve been in Mexican grocery stores…many of their cookies have distinct names to them. There are no “Mexican cookies,” but rather polverones (really tasty, but messy to eat..they have a cinnamon sugar coating), Maria cookies, wedding cookies, and orejitas (a fried pastry similarto an elephant ear).

When I was a child my pediatrician was an Indian immigrant. He was a wonderful doctor and could understand and speak English extremely well, I just had the hardest time understanding his accent. I was always so embarrassed whenever I surpassed three "could you repeat that?"s lmao. Anyways my whole point is that I never blamed the doctor himself, and I certainly wouldn't ever joke about how "bad" his accent was or do a racist impression of it.
