This is the perfect song for Tim McGraw to sing. He nailed this song down, pitch, timing, vocals, just flawless. Tim has the best voice in country music for decades it seems. And this is just another example of why.
Ronnie definitely had to be sitting there thinking "Glad we got ahold of this song before he did". Love the original but Tim easily could have owned this one
Tim McGraw has the kind of vocals where he would cover a lot of great songs and make them feel like his own. He is a well established top country artist and for good reason. But he definitely sang this song as if it were his, and it captured that emotion the song requires like when Ronnie did it. Ronnie owns this song and sang it the best, McGraw sung it second best. And it would take alot to convince me that someone else could top these two.
This man has more swag in his pinky than Luke Bryan ever did.. and I love Luke Bryan 😂.. It’s natural, it’s humble and it’s down home. He’s a true southern gent. Tim McGraw is simply in a league of his own. He’s just great:) 💕🌸👏🏻

The greatest couple ever to do country George Jones and Tammy , Johnny And June. I saw Brooks and Dunn in Las Vegas And sat in the second row. My Boyfriend got the tickets for my Birthday because he was a fan. He has since passed away. I also remember two stepping to Alot of Brooks and Dunn at Gilly's in Vegas. Fun memories ! I'm so in love with this performance and I was when I saw it years ago. Tim is amazing. The woman who does the background vocals sings beautifully as well. This might be my favorite performance of his out of all the songs I've heard him cover or sing. His original, "Everywhere," and this are the best.

I don't normally like covers of songs. However, Tim McGraw nailed this perfectly. I have even played this on two different devices one with the "ORIGINAL" and it is note for note and not once is it out of time at all. So Tim, Well done sir on possibly the best, NO THE BEST Cover of another artists song. When I first heard this I actually had to look twice at who was singing.

I've been with my wife going on 13 years. Been married 5 1/2 years of em. We have 2 beautiful kids and another on the way. About 12 years ago she told me about this "Tim McGraw." I listened and didn't like a note the guy sang. For women I can understand the attraction but from a man who thinks he has a good ear for music"cough" I thought he was horrible, that was until I heard this version of this classic. He didn't just hit a home run he made me like him a bit. Great version and I tip my cap.
