Prob one of Hondas best engine designs. I wish they had stuck with that motor and just refined it. Cuz I had a 2003 and that chassis was awesome a/f even with the stock suspension set up. That motor in the 03 chassis would have been unstoppable, had they kept that engine and the PWK carburetor. KTM is doing some weird shit too that don’t make any sense. Swapping out the PWK for a Mikuni?? Just like Honda, that Mikuni flat slide was crap compared to the PWK and it was blatantly obvious. My only conclusion is they did that to save money. Honda is a weird company anyways. They built the best in literally every genre, creating a cult like fan base and then abandoned the bikes when people wanted them the most. The 200X and the TRX250R and TRX450R ? Those machines were the gold standard that nobody has ever surpassed and cannot beat without literally copying it….and yet they refuse to acknowledge the demand.
The braaps are crispy with this one. My younger brother has a 1993 CR250, I remember back then people would buy new tank fairings and plastics for the 95 model and stick them on their 93 to get the "95 Look" on their bikes without having to buy a new bike. :)
Sounds crispy!! Nice bike. My 91 cr250 should be back together in a couple weeks. I hope it sounds this good. Little tricky finding some of the exhaust system parts when the motor was rebuilt.
Great riding, great video as always, takes me back hearing those old 90’s bikes to when my cousin used to ride them. Just waiting for the usual comments “This guy would never win a race, terrible control…” etc
I commented recently on your KX500 video where it was literally just wide open throttle sideways etc and you always get someone judging you on your “racing skills” 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ keep the videos coming, the sounds are good but the scenery in Finland is beautiful 👌🏻👌🏻
I am thinking about getting back to motocross again, is it easy to find spare parts for this model? 2 strokes are easy to work on but I am not sure I can find new original parts anymore to replace the broken ones.
HI GUYS, i have already watch a lot of your videos, and somewhere in the back of my mind i,m thinking I MUST BUY A CR250R.but i have a question for you:IF SOMEONE HAS NEVER DRIVEN A CR250R BEFORE,IS IT DANGEROUS TO DRIVE IT,BECAUSE OF THE POWER? AND EVEN WHEN I,M A GUY, I,M A LITTLE BIT AFRAID FOR IT, SOoooo much POWER. AND i must say i,m not realy a good driver on bikes,i only drive cars. i only have driven a yamaha 125 a couple of times .but that is about 15years ago. DO YOU HAVE ANY ADVICE FOR ME,
Keep that Ole CR orig & running well. Stock up on top end parts as may be harder to get in near future. Get air filters, pre-mix etc. Stock up! #Maxima
