Picked up a new 2001 Honda Prelude project car to hopefully turn into a daily. I paid $200 for it and it came with a clean title. The plan is to repair and rebuild the car on a budget from parts sourced through eBay, Facebook marketplace, OfferUp, etc! Drop your thoughts in the comments!!

where is the final look from that forged carbon look in your video from 1 year ago mate?

Those parts were from some else’s car and the resin used wasn’t heat rated to the engine bay heat his Z put out and it hazed after about 8 months. We will be redoing them sometime in the next few Months with a heat rated resin. The process was solid but the resin type not so much lol

I don't think u have to replace the front suspension if u swap a base engine and transmission in.

What about coil overs from a base model? Will those also fit with out the base model suspension components?

I picked up another one 2 days ago for $900 as a donor car for the engine and other misc parts. It’s condition is less than desired and has no title but it will be in the next video so stay tuned!

I already found a motor and stuff but that’s for the next video. The stands I got from harbor freight and they were like $60 a pair. I will find them and drop the link in the description!

Those are not SH wheels.Stock wheels were 16in

Yeah those are factory Lexus wheels. They were traded to the previous owner plus cash when he sold the aftermarket wheels that were on it before I bought it.

All you'll need for the base engine is the engine, transmission, axles, and half-shaft for the base model. Everything else is fine. The SH does have better handling even without the ATTS unit.

That’s great! I assumed it would handle better since those additional Lower arm parts seem like they create a lower stiffing brace.
