That was pretty funny. I think I was stuck on someone’s costume and was commenting on that so it wasn’t relevant to that moment but it was hilarious 😆

This is one of my favorite episodes, if only for all the YAHF (Yet Another Halloween Fic) fanfiction it has inspired! There are so many other possible costumes the characters could have chosen, with very interesting repercussions for the rest of the series.

The reason Giles is always getting beaten up is because he's only human, so he's weaker than vampires/demons, Buffy is a slayer, so she's a lot stronger than the average human.

I mean, Xander and Willow are also only human and they don't get knocked unconscious all the time. They get kidnapped a lot or they're the target of monsters, but they stay conscious the whole time! :p

@@ChevaliersEmeraude I guess Giles just tends to put himself in harm's way more often as he sees Buffy and friends as children. I don't know but that's the only reason I could think of at this point.
