I’ve been meaning to play a Holy Grail War Campaign though I handle Servants differently. These have Served as great inspiration and it does work extremely well on the side of the Masters. Suggestions for Builds though I’m not sure if all of them could be done well or not. Also won’t suggest Servants Tulok did already. Also BIG POTENTIAL SPOILER WARNING -The Other Servants in F/SN -Rin Tohsaka -Souichirou Kuzuki -Kirei Kotomine -Kiritsugu Emiya -Gilles De Rais -Berserkerlot -Mordred and the other Members of the Round Table. -Rani from Fate/Extra -Jinako as herself and maybe Ganesha -Kiara Sessyoin -Dr. Romani/Solomon -Mash Kyrielight (Aka Best Girl) -Jeanne -Jeanne Alter (They’re different enough to probably require separate Builds) -The Servants of both sides of the War in Apocrypha -Erice Utsumi -Alcides/Heracles Alter -Ryougi Shiki -Arcuied from Fate/Extra plus FGO if/when she’s added -Waver Velvet.
Glad that you like my videos and a grail war campaign sounds like a fun idea^^ But if you want to suggest characters you should narrow it down to maybe 2 or 3 the most. A long list like that might as well be “do all fate characters” so doesn’t exactly help me to pick what i should do next^^
@@TrickyFox93 thanks, I've been working hard on some good homebrew for the campaign, drawing a lot of information for all over the Nasuverse. Fair enough, I'll narrow it down. I'd say Rin, Kirei or Medea would be good ones to see next or soon
@@TrickyFox93 Have you tried Satyr? They're especially broken in PvP. You roll with advantage against all magic on saves, you can jump further, you can hit for more damage without a weapon, and best of all you're fey making you immune to Hold Person and Charm Person. You also get 35 feet of movement which means you can close the gap between you and your enemies faster. All these things make you super tanky against casters which would normally be your biggest weakness. You don't want to lose rage for any reason when frenzying which being immune to charm and paralysis really helps with.
The would I build Herc is with constitution as his highest stat with strength as the second highest and make him a half-orc because they have a racial feature that allows them to resurrect themselves once per long rest when he is reduced to zero hit points. That’s how I replicated God Hand. From there, I gave him 20 levels of Berserker Barbarian and boost all of his physical ability scores up 20 and dumped all three mental abilities except for Intimidation and Survival, with his other skills being Athletics and Acrobatics
De echo me encantan como creas en DnD a los personajes de Fate! Y me encantaría ver como creas berserker LancelotFate/zero) y su habilidad de convertir todo lo que toca en un Noble Phantasm(incluyendo un maldito avión militar!)
Great build, Tricky. It definitely embodies Heracles's ridiculous power. As for other characters, it seems like a good idea to round out most of the original FSN Servants. Personally, I would be very interested in how you would pull off Cursed-Arm Hassan's Zabaniya (Delusional Heartbeat), or what you would do for Medusa.
I think Quivering Palm from Open Hand Monk could replicate it but I don’t think Open Palm fits Cursed Arm Hassan that much overall. Perhaps reflavored Hand of Vecna since you did say you’d recommend Items. Note: I can see why not here since Berserker Herc doesn’t use any notable items
I personally would make Berserker (Or any other servants for that matter) Custom Lineage since Servants are sort of their own type of creature (Fate Elementals are very different from DND elementals). I also think Bear Totem Barbarian works better than Zealot since Berserker can, theoretically, eventually die if you keep wailing on him. He's just really hard to kill. Technically speaking, a Zealot Barbarian does die if they fail the death saves. Also, while it might sound like an issue that magical weapons could bypass your resistance, and almost every Servant has a magic weapon making that a major issue, Bear Totem Barbarians actually resist attacks from magic weapons (They resist literally ALL damage that isn't psychic, even if it was some kind of theoretical Almighty-Esque type of damage). The third Bear Totem feature also ties in to how protective of Illya he is.
@@thesmashor4396 Rage grants ressitance against bludgeoning, slashing and piercing damage period, doesn't matter if the attack is magical or not. And why go with custom lineage if there is a race that fits the bill? (ya can't tell me that Goliath is an unfitting pick). Zaelot Barbarian does reflect Herc's divine heritage and God Hand is all about cheating death which Zaelot Barbarians excell at. The goal was to make him as hard to kill as possible and Zaelot works better in that regard. Sure ya can go with Bear Totem too as they still get Relentless Rage. Not really a right or wrong thing there, go with your preferences.
@@TrickyFox93 Heracles is his slave name! It translates to "glory of Hera" and was given to him by his mother trying to appease the evil witch of a goddess so she wouldn't kill her baby. In comparison Hercules means "Warrior" and was given by the Roman's who worshiped and idolized him as a god of strength. If I was Hercules I know which name I would prefer.
