I’m a bit surprised you didn’t go Dhampir from the Ravenloft book (assuming it was out when the video was released). Rider was notably attacking and draining students for mana and it automatically gives spider climb and a slightly increased movement rate which also synergizes well. I really like the build though and may give it a try if the opportunity arises.
@@TrickyFox93 the powers feel a bit more dhampir-ish to me though the fluff of the pure blood yuan-ti definitely fits the snake connection. Thankfully you can do both as dhampir uses a base race to apply the template to. Admittedly you lose magic resistance but that is more Saber/Lancer’s thing than Rider’s really.
First of all, great video. I'll certainly be using her and EMIYA in a future campaing. Keep up the good work. Second of all, I know that even if you plan on doing him he'd be last because chronology and spoilers, but could you give me some pointers on how to make Angra Mainyu (Shirou's Body)?
Well "In Shirou's body" Angra Mainyu effectively becomes Shirou with all his abilities. He only needs a bit of a reminder of what he can do - so basically in that case ya just use the EMIYA build again. Other then that I still workshop some ideas for Angra, stuff like the Assassin's Impostor, Whisper Bards Mantle of Whisper or a wizard with Mgic Jar are all a couple of ideas to get less this to work^^
I’m working on builds of my own. I’m still using your Emiya in my current campaign, but I also have ideas for Kiritsugu and Ritsuka. I have Ritsuka pretty much figured out. Peace Domain cleric with all the heals and buffs with Summon Celestial to get Mash if you summon it as a defender. For Kiritsugu; I’m thinking Assassin rogue and wizard for the Haste spell. And of course the Mage Slayer feat.
Well would go into a similiar direction with Kiritsugu - we'll get to him eventually. Thing about Ritsuka is that his greatest Strength is that he can form cotnracts with a multitude of different servanvts at once and use the best for the right situation - so I would at least put 10 levels into Conjuration Wizard (making it so that your concentration can't be broken) and give him like all of the summon spells with a couple of support spells that mimic his mystic codes
@@TrickyFox93 I’ll be giving him more than Summon Celestial. Spirit Guardians, Guardian of Faith and Conjure Celestial all also work as Servants, with enough flavor. But I like your idea..
do you think you'll go in to entries from the rest of the fate franchise? Zero and apocrypha sound like good entries to start next make that which one will you do next? (just finished video)
great video im working on a gorgon inspired character as we speak (though i'm a forever DM) i ended up getting so fed up that none of the builds i made felt like her enough that i have made a homebrew transformation curse (grim hollow inspired) so that i have a more accurate feeling gorgon curse long story short my build ends up being a dhampir (UA) scout rogue with the gorgon's curse
sort of - like Medusa supposedly has a higher average speed while Lancer is a better sprinter. It kinda depends on how you want to define what counts as the "fastest"
