Well, as a former (Provincially Certified and Canadian Registered) industrial/construction electrician and newly retired Electrical Safety Officer of 30 yrs there wasn't anything that I saw that you did with the wiring that made me cringe or jump at the screen... ps: extra points for NOT using the push-in back stab terminals!
Peanut gallery here (electrician) and stab connectors SUCK. NO ONE SHOULD USE THEM. Wegos too. I've had multiple lights that did not work after install and the problem was the Wegos. Splice and wire nut and they worked. So u r correct.
Should've set the screws that you didn't use all the way down too, those open screws can cause a short. Only thing I saw wrong. Other wise I just laughed seeing you do everything with all the specialty tools. I can't remember the last time I actually used pliers or a armoured cable stripper. Linesman do it all for me and hacksaw is way faster for stripping casing. +1 for not just bending it and breaking the casing and using side cutters like so many do.
Have you ever installed a GFCI in any of your trailers? I know some jobs where the only plug available is not protected. I would guess that having one installed at the beginning of the run would protect everything down the line.
Why are all the boxes and hoses made off metall? I bad wire and it conducts and is dangerous.... in holland we use plastic tubing to run the wires trough and use plastic boxes. No risk of shocks.... love the trailer. Used some ideas for my little workshop.
JW Kooi metal conduits etc form part of the earthing system. Steel conduits in addition to the protective conductor lowers the earth loop impedance. Electrician Ireland
You’re electrician would fire you for not using the back stab connectors. 😂 They’re there for a reason. Because they’re quick, efficient, and best of all UL listed.
