I don’t think B high understand how much he doing for brothers who grew up listening to groups like UGK, Playa Fly etc. We had no avenue or access to our fav artists. We had their music, MURDER DOG, and maybe the occasional article in vibe or source. We getting so much insight. That Pastor Troy interview. I appreciate everything you doing. You ask a lot of the questions I’ve been wanting know. You are the best thing to happen to southern underground rap in a long time. Please don’t stop what you doing.
@@ronaldsmith7102 never heard bun b actually talk so much. I really don’t even fuck with interviews but B High be having my whole playlist before we was calling them playlist, LOL. And damn near all of them seem like some real as men. Much love to B High!!!!
KRIT is a musical genius. Albums from start to finish just hit play and go on about your day. And the series of “My sub” songs on the different albums…
His mixtapes are better than his albums but his best album is 4eva Is a mighty long time that’s why I’m so glad his mixtapes are on streaming services now
"I didn't do anything to deserve how you comin at me, but I gotta give what you came for and a 6 pack to go." 😂 My M.O. since I was in the womb. I hear ya 1000%, Bun.
I thought that was a cardboard cutout of OG Wick for a while until he moved his head. He never blinks and he is so still that you can't even see his body move from breathing 🤣😂🤣
When I was young I always thought pimp to be the star of the duo. But as I grew up, I saw Bun was just over my head. But his flow, word play, and consistency shows Bun wasn’t no B team rapper.
@@hova575 Pimp is my fav rapper. But he wasn’t as strong as bun. From the early work til pimp’s passing, Pimp grew exponentially. That on top of his production, delivery, and start power it can make him look like the main attraction. But Pimp got one song that should an asterisk. “I’m So Bad”
@@_MurphysLaw PIMP did the beats production and Hooks. That niggas was talented. His wordplay wasn't better than Bun. But the shit he said was real. That nigga really did numbers in the STREETS. I been jamming them boys from SHORT TEXAS AND,A,POCKET FULL OF STONE 1ST ALBUM . Louisiana rep UGK.
Bun B is one of the smartest rappers in the game. Speaks fluently and is very knowledgeable about so many aspects of the business. Class act and a gentlemanly scholar.
@@nuffplayin39_40 certain songs he has he sounded like him I'm not saying he was trying to be him I said he's the closest thing with the style ... now 17 was definitely trying to sound like Pimp C
Can't wait for this full interview 😄just saw the living legends concert in stl,mo it was epic you guys jammed Twista, 2 short,Bun B, Scarface,8Ball and MjG ,Mystikal best concert ever the legends were great
They don’t know how hard this comments hits…..if you from Houston, the state of Texas period, when you hear “leverage” & J. Prince in the same sentence. Just know this man’s reach & influence is mad long…..
I ain’t gon lie I’m from the east coast and wit BIG and Jay my favorite rappers, I was first disappointed when UGK was in Big Pimpin. I didn’t understand Texas culture or the slang or lingo but my man Darrell from Houston, I used to work with him, he put me on. I starting listening. Then a lil while later I visited Houston … and it all made sense. So yeah he put me on to UGK. And likewise, I put him on to Jay-Z. He ended up loving Jay-Z and I ended up loving UGK. Rest In Power to the Pimp. Salute to Bun. UGK4LIFE
Stop playing wit us B High, i need the whole interview! I’m tuning in like it’s the Wu Tang Saga. You give out some great interviews, keep doing your thang!
My man in the back soaking up all the game he looking like Bun B making ribs or frying a steak lol....you can tell he Respects him and one of his favorite rappers
Well of course Bun was more lyrical and my Uncle Chad was the character, he delivered the bars in his way Country Rap tunes. He let everyone know he was from the South with his accent. That’s why they paired up so well. No side kicks just a team.
Bun better rapper. Pimp bigger artist. Just the truth. Pimp had the “It” factor. Just like Beyoncé, just like Jay Z, just like Justin Timberlake, Quavo before oddest got with cardi B, etc etc. The entertainment industry runs completely off of consumer support. The more attention it brings the more money it makes. Labels are a business. Bun was the sidekick.
