Satellites also need to be calibrated, so type sd.calall every now and then. It will stop if it runs into a broken satellite though, which is your queue to go fix them. There is also a module that will alert you every time a server goes down. Also, de-upgrading things actually loses you a few points each time, so don't do that, it's not worth it.
You see the energy consumption? It's a thing now,you need to turn off stuff from the panel next to the garage door to get stuff working faster when you don't need it, like disable the radar while downloading and the processing and the lights.
is there any catosprohic things that can happen? like a game over or deleted save consequences of your actions? or is the game linear/ binary where you have to progress a certain way
The progression typically happens as the days go on in game either through getting signals, exploring the map and sometimes time/day events. I do need to prioritize collecting signals and upgrading.
