Greetings from the USA. Thank you for a very thorough review on the Han. Do you have any information regarding plans for BYD, or any other Chinese auto makers, to build these wonderful EVs in the US(to avoid US tariffs)? Teslas are over priced because they don’t have much competition. I tell my family to wait for the Chinese EVs. I hope EVs like the Han will be offered in the US at an affordable price soon.
The U.S. government is suppressing Chinese technology products, so I personally don't think the U.S. government will allow BYD cars to enter the United States, but Europe will definitely allow it.
@@revchina I have to chose between the cars on the way here, in order to save taxes before new year 🙂 No green ones unfortunately. I agree, it comes de-cromed from factory which is the way they should all be.
In Norway currently the top spec han is just as much as the et7 + battery lease. I recently found out I can have the et7 b4 taxes increase next year. Im kinda bummed out and thinking of switching to the Nio. The Nio has massage seats, air susp., Electric tow bar, soft close, and probably better tech for autopilot. Did you compare the autopilot in the HAN to the Nio Et7? And for the suspension is the et7 more comfortable, or is it mostly about being able to adjust height? I tried the big honqi suv with air susp and that was the most comfortable car i have ever tested, however other air susp cars such as the jag ipace is not even close to the honqi.
Hi Egil, the autopilot on the ET7 is far better than the Han both software and hardware. The ET7's NOA is one of the best in the industry, the Han's below standard. ET7 also has laser radars which is now being taken on by the industry it offers far better and more information compared to the millimeter wave radars. I would choose the ET7 with no hesitation if they are similarly priced. In terms of air suspension, it is not as comfortable as the Hongqi, but again better than the Han. In China there is a huge price difference between the two.
I think the Han should be 10k cheaper then the et7. Both are nice cars but the et7 is just better. The same price is like getting a VW for the same price of an Audi.
