@Call Center Ninja Does everyone get paid on their call center training? If so, by how much? Is it the same as your pay (when you're on the floor) eventually?
Im a call center agent for almost 3 years now. I still get nervous on every call. I don’t know how to deliver my thoughts and aways get detractors on my survey. However from rate 1-10 on my english skill I can say 4 atleast. For me, i improved a lot. But i envy those people who can speak well even its their first time in bpo company. For those who are first timers, don’t give up guys.
I'm a fresh graduate and have no work experience, been through some rejections already on my job hunting days. More than a week ago, I was just watching your interview tips and now here I am, I got in and tomorrow will be the start of my training! 💖😭 I prayed so hard for this, you're such a blessing. I'm so grateful and I'll do my best to keep this up. Thank you very much! Going to do all I can not to lose this opportunity, to stay positive. Pray and have faith. 🥰
@@christinekey6079 hey there! I'm now a regular employee in the same company working for 9 months! Surely looking back, the start wasn't easy but with God's guidance I've got through all it. Prayers and Trust. Don't be afraid of rejections as it opens new doors and it draws you to better opportunities! Doing good as I am able to provide for myself and my family even at these hard times. Thanks for asking by the way, it reminded me on how I started 😊 and appreciate what I have now even more. Hoping you guys are safe, Godbless you and your family. ❤
@@shyleymorales3934 i feel hopeless honestly its my first week and im not doing any good. Thanks for answering btw im very happy for you. Im near to giving up but your answer made me smile and give some comfort. I love you im just so sad right now
•Follow even the simplest instructions. •To work in the pre-employment requierments as soon as posible. •Not having to much fun. •To ask many questions. •To take the training seriously. •To spare. •To star with begginer mind. Thanks. Useful advices!.
Here's a tip some people not like / appreciate, but still really important: NEVER work faster / better than the stated call targets. Just do your job well, but don't overdo it.
Rea, can you have a video about how to overcome anxiety or nervousness during training. Thank you. I always watch your videos becoz it really helps me to be awared of what I should and shouldn't do during training. Thank you.
She gave us what we needed. Tips, infos and even possible reso. Please don't skipped the ads as a simple gestures. Hahaha Btw Ate Rea, been a silent fan for about a year na po.
Hey, so I've been battling my shyness towards people for over 8 years through series of traumas (bullying, being an outcast, apart from family, etc.) until I graduated in college so far I'm still in progress of improving myself. Now I got a chance to join a BPO company. It is still my 5th day and I overcame the pressure from making my first 300 calls, is there any chance for socially anxious person like me to thrive in a BPO industry in the long run? EDIT: So its been 4 weeks since I started in the BPO industry, I've made over 1800 calls but still I haven't got a single appointment to my prospects. I've been taking some of your videos into heart, I hope my second month goes well. ❤
300 calls are a feat! Wow you're amazing. For sure, you will thrive. ❤ I sometimes tend to be socially anxious too, but luckily, I was part of a great team. Hope you are too. All the best. 🙏🏼
Im kinda nervous. This is my first time that I was hired for a voice account. Wala pa akong exp. In taking calls. Chat support kasi ako dati , not too good in oral/ verbal. Huhu..im shaking😶
Hi Ms. Rea I just wanna thank you for creating helpful videos. I'll start my training on june 3. I failed a lot of interviews before and then I start to study and everytime I watch your videos I always take down notes for me to remember your tips and then from time to time my speaking skills were enhanced. You help me a lot! God bless to you ❤
Thank you for the tips. I am in training for a sales position in a call center and I'm just starting my 2nd week. My only problem is help with speech, knowing what to say and when so that I have a great call flow.
I'm starting my customer representative training TOMORROW and I feel like i'd be okay but i'm still a little nervous looking around for tips and stuff, found this video and its helped, thank you so much, subbed
Hi! My training would start in 2 hours. And I'm really nervous right now. I searched for call center training tips and it led me to your video. This would be really helpful for me. I hope I won't get too nervous later. 😭
thank you so much for this vlog mam.. im a newly hired cc agent and im a little nervous for my training.. then i saw your channel and i feel encouraged.. im a mother of four and i really need this job. im eager to be trained..
This will be helpful for me because I'll have an upcoming 5-day training for the Market Researcher position and I'm a fresher with no work experience. Hihi Thanks, Call Center Ninja!
Hi everyone! I just got a job offer for my first CC job and I am really nervous because our training will be on Monday..I hope that I will pass the training until nesting process..Watching all your videos like this really helps me a lot.Thank you so much!
Hello! I got hired today and I'm pretty excited and nervous at the same time, but this video is a holy grail for me, all your vids actually. I'm looking forward to the betterment of my skills and what the future holds for me as call center agent. Thanks, Rea!
So glad that I found this video before my training which will start on Monday. I applied for a permanent wfh financial customer service account and now I know what behaviour to avoid. Thank you miss!!
Got hired this day. And I'm so nervous bc it's my first time in Bpo industry. I still can't believe that I'll be an Call center agent, I'm not good in oral and written. And even my english grammar. Shocks!!!
Raven Zabb how did it go for you it’s my 2 day I’m kinda sad they where showing us the system we going use I’m overwhelmed I’m shy and I have low self esteem idk if I would do A good job but one thing bout me I work hard and wana do my best
100% Follow Directions, this is crucial. Yes ask questions, but wait till the trainer completes his/her thought, timing is everything... Take notes, I am a huge Note Taker, and I see other's next to me when I'm in Training that just sit there and they don't even seem to be interested but then when we have a quiz or test, they turn to me for the answers, that's not okay. Yes I can help and I am a team player but I'm not going to simply give you the answers. : )
Noong newbie aq, napakanta nlang aq ng "Kung wla ka ng maintindihan, kung wla ka ng kakapitan, kapit ka sa akin"😂😂😂😂😂😂in a few days, uulit na naman aq sa ganitong process.
@@MsPau-yr2zs It's good and challenging. It's a virtual trauning and I'm having a hard time to catch some lessons but all in all it's a good experience.
Hi Rea , so I just got recently hired and I’m in my first week of training and honestly the first days were really overwhelming because of the fact that it was to much information and this is my first time working so i am still very afraid of doing things wrong, also I’m a really slow learner and because of that i usually never ask questions to my trainer bc I get scared that I might look stupid in front of my colleagues bc of simple questions that i might have, so I get really frustrated and also makes me feel left behind and dumb. I really don’t know what to do to overcome this :(
It can be overwhelming yes. If you're not yet comfortable asking with the class, then I suggest you ask your trainer maybe during breaktime or after shift. If you don't ask, you will never really know. 🙂 All the best!
Honestly, I am hesitated, nervous (a little bit) and confused if I still want to apply as a Call Center Agent. But, at least those video clips of yours are helpful. So, I think that I must give it a try. Thank you.
Hi! im a new subscriber and this was the first video i chose to watch to help me with my new call center career. Thank you for the wisdom in your videos! I’ll be watching them all so i can cope with training and adapt to the call center environment. God bless you call center ninja rea!
Pinanood ko to last year. Nag apply ako then got hired and worked as a CSR for Amazon account. Pero anxiety and stress caved in, iba talaga pag first time mo, it depends naman sa tao if paano niya eh handle yun kaso iba saken. D ako masaya, parang depressed na ako, I tried to talk to my sup, I ended up crying in front of him todo comfort siya sa aken but unfortunately behind my back sinabi rin niya pla sa mga co-worker niya nangyari sa ken, feeling ko pinag chichismisan ako, yung tipong mananalo daw ako ng award sa galing ko daw umarte. And then I quit. You can't heal in the same environment that made you sick. skl :) pls dont judge me :) God bless.
A callcenter job is just something while you find something else. that's the real attitude. nobody makes a career in callcenters. possibly the worst line of work somebody can ever have.
Wow! Cool video! THanks! Base on the tone and projection of your voice, I could say that you're used to be with a/your supervisor or you're a friend of a manager or you somewhat mastered this kind of job in some way or the other but above all, one could tell that you're a teacher by degree, I guess. That kind of speaking is very common from those people taking education course. Haha! God bless!
Wow you really tried to analyze who I was in my previous life. Haha 😂 Anyway, I'll save you the guessing. I worked as a lead trainer in the BPO for 7 years, not a teacher per se, but yes I consider myself an educator. 🙂
Thanks for the tip miss rhea its my first day of training this monday , and im really worried because I know that even though I got hired, I still need to passed the training. You are a big help for us newbies. Godbless 😊
i received an offer in my very first try. 1 day process only via phone call. the hardest part is berlitz and i enjoyed the mock call assesment ☺️😇. if you're still applying i wish u the best and congratzz in advance.!
Hi, It's been 2 years now since the last time, I watch some of your tutorials. before, I'm really at that point when I'm about to quit seeking jobs in BPO industry, since I'm just newbie at that time, no experience and worst thing I'm having poor english conversation skills at that time, rejected almost 7 times? But since I did not give up and keep learning, Good to say that finaly I was hired year 2017 and now I already have 1 year experience as retail Customer sales specialist and 1 year experience and counting in healthcare account as a provider consultant or provider services agent. I really likes your video, it really helps alot. Thank you Godbless and keep inspiring people.
Hi ms. Rea! can you give me some tips to easily understand what are the customers really talking because of their different accent. Coz I think it maybe so hard for me since i have no experience yet working in BPO's and we're going to start our first day on Monday. Please. Thank you 😇
You'll really just get used to them as you go along and take more calls. Sometimes when you don't understand them, just ask again politely. 😊 Watch more american movies to help you hear the accent more. 😊
I just got hired last week and my first day of training is by monday! this is my first time handling international account. im soo soo nervous, im afraid in my accent, i know i can construct simple sentences but in written. I've been in a non-voice account for 6mos and.. Wooo! Any suggestions how to improve accent? and be confident in speaking? Thank you Maam! God bless.
Thank you for this! Tonight is my first night as a call center agent for AT&T and I don't have any prior experience. It makes me really anxious. Also, pls reply with tips, anyone? :)
Hi Ms. Rea! I was really nervous on my first day of training and I just wanted to quit. I cried also because I can't speak in english fluently unlike the others and everytime our trainor asking questions, I can't think of any answers. And I'm afraid I can't pass the training, I'm afraid that I can't handle any calls or whatsoever. I don't know what to do
Hi. Im also a newbie. Im now in a 2weeks training.first of all always having worries and anxieties can cause us to have cancers and i forgot the other medical condition.ive been there because it was my first time to be hired in a call center job.at first i wanted to quit because i have a lot of collegues that already had their experience in bpo. and im always intimadated when we have our mock calls in a week.but when time goes by, i can now relate and this is because of mam rhea.i have a lot of things that i learned from her.my indian coach told me that what i din in mock call was indeed excellent.and thats the time im motivated to strive for the success of my training. :)
Hello Aila, I think it is because trainers expects their trainees to be the best agents they could be and wanted to produce high-quality agents. I do go through that and it is pressuring in our part. Just do what you can and do your best, everything does not start easy-everything starts at a difficult level especially for newbies. Just trust yourself and trust God.
Nefritiri Serion Hello!!! Haha okay na yung training ko. So sabi nila nagimprove naman ako. Actually nagtatake na kami ng live calls simula last week. It's just so happy na di ako sumuko at lumaban lang kahit ilang beses nang umiyak. 😂 Ganun lang. Fighting!!!
I wished i saw this video earlier! Such regret that I’ve felt right now. But at the same time still thankful for the experience. Hope i get it next time!
hi everyone, I'm still a trainee in my school this time since we have a subject regarding contact center NCII, and i believe is of great help in nourishing my skill and expertise in speaking and addressing customer service
This video helpsme a lot not even in correcting my english grammar but also improving my self more and to boost my self confidence thanks for this video mam ! I got an idea from you
Ms. Rea. Thank you Thank you Thank you very much!!!! I just passed my interview today. Lahat ng videos na napanuod ko napaka helpful. Grabe. Most of the sample questions sa interview na encounter ko. Syempre hindi naman po ako nag copy ng answer mo but I was able to make my own answer. Nag role playing pa kami, and sabi ng interviewer, she likes that i say "i do apologize" ... napanuod ko kasi yung how to handle an irate customer - feedback. I will keep watching your videos para naman sa training. And actually kaya dito ako naka comment kasi i was watching this video then biglang tumawag si interviewer. Salamat sayo. More powers! And God bless you more ❤❤❤❤❤
Hi all!!got hired.will start the training on the 22nd of this month..your videos helped me a lot since i was a hands on mother for many yrs and this is my 1st time in bpo.
To be a call center agent is one of my dream job,I mean for a high school graduate like me who wouldn't right?good compensation,(hoping)air conditioned room, not requiring you to stand like 8-10 hrs a day and so on,but I really have a big problem, I don't have self confidence in speaking english.I can read and understand it but speaking is another thing haizt so sad...
Forget about stats. Just listen , learn every day , make sure you fix the issue or make follow up and tell the customer where they stand. Don't worry , because if you worry , you may quit, if you can be happy, then you stats will show you are happy.
Thank you so much miss Rhea, you did it very well, I admire you the way you speak, you pronounce, your gesture it seems that all videos you make is very much useful and it would be a big help most esp, to those who are starting to join Call Center Industry and I'm one of those.. keep it up looking more interesting videos from you!
Hi, I just want to ask if someone needs to be computer literate to be able to pass the call center training.. I'm not really that familiar with some Microsoft office apps and other techy things and I'm about to start my training in a few days so I'm starting to get reallyyy nervous 😫 Btw, this is very informative TYSM ❤
Yes one needs to be a computer literate to survive. BUT navigation and tech can be learned along the way so if you put your time and effort in practicing how to use the tools, you should be fine. Good luck and thanks for watching! ❤
Right after the company sent me message to come over to their recruitment hub to do my job offer i searched immediately to have an idea on how is it like to be when you are already in the job training. Good luck to my first day of training tomorrow 😊 Thankyouuuuuu💕
My training will be starting on Nov. 9, I will be watching your videos. I'll get back to this comment after my 3 months fixed term. I'll tell you if I made it or not but I really hope that l'll be able to make it. It's my dream company and job. THANKS A LOT FOR SHARING YOUR KNOWLEDGE. STAY SAFE❤️
Problem is inconsistency with training. No class room training, shadowing with different call centre staff who operate in different ways. Computer IT problems.
@@ReaNinja Due to budget cuts new call centre staff are not provided with adequate call centre training. Not being taught the right strategies when handling calls, inconsistency with training as new staff are told to shadow call centre staff that do not follow procedures. I was placed with someone who was partially sighted, where they only one line of a whole screen up at any one time (that was good for them but not good for someone learning a new system that needed to see the various tabs etc and full screen information). I was not partially sighted and had no clue as to which dialogue or tab the individual was looking at. I was told the computer room that previously was used to provide training was outsourced in order that the organisation could receive funds (it was a public body so money was tight). I was placed with another member of staff the following week and had no use of a system as the computer for hours due to IT problems. Then placed with another call centre staff who was more interested in playing who wants to be a millionaire on her mobile and chatting to colleagues than assist me to navigate screens when I was new to the system. I felt that I was having to constantly highlight such issues. Imagine having to go through an assessment after such problems when a new recruit does not feel they have been provided with the right training support.
Hoping for more vlogs! You're such a humble person to share everything you know to help newcomers in call center field. May God bless you a lot more in life ateeee! 😄😄😄
I’m planning to apply for a job in a call center but I got a problem with my accent, I got singlish English ( Singapore English accent) and I can’t control my tongue.. and not only that I got a hard accent too. Do you think I can fix it if I undergo for training?.. I had been noticed people overseas there English are not as good as Pinoy.
Hope Hello! Yes I believe you can improve your accent through training, however the training provided by call centers are basically to enhance only, it's not a rigorous accent training. So you might want to train with an english tutor before applying. Hope that helps!
My training's just about to start next month april the 12th. This really helps a lot. Thank you Maam ! Cause of this I kinda got the gist of my personal do's and donts come training time.
I'll start my training tomorrow and I am really nervous😭. It's also my first job, to add. So grateful that YT recommend this video. Hope that I'll come back here with positive results soon. ❤
