I use yesstyle to buy Korean cosmetics since they're not selling knockoffs of those, but any clothing item I've ever gotten from them has been terrible quality 😅

I buy my kawaii shirts from them actually. The quality of the shirts are wonderful and they're this soft cotton kind of and I've had them for about 3 months now and they're still completely fine! Right now I'm getting into a sweet lolita aesthetic but before that I am wearing a bunch of pastel fashion! It's called Kawaii Fairyland.

I mean yesstyle is basically a site which hosts stores which vary massively in quality. I think a lot of people assume it's all own brand, rather than treating it like for example aliexpress or amazon and reading reviews for individual stores and items. I've found it great for cheap UK delivery on specific things I was looking for, and I haven't really had bad experiences with it since I I've been super careful with reviews, but I know it can be so hit and miss if you don't know what you're looking for

(Sorry this is kinda long) My experiences with yesstyle : Ive bought from them a few times and am either totally thrilled or kinda bewildered. Ive learned to be skeptical/ not buy any item below 5 stars or that has at a minimum 4 and nothing under 10 reviews (This ensures that many of the customers were genuinely happy with quality for the price ). My second thing is if one is buying clothes and you’re like me or on the thicker / heavier side ( not stick thin) , if the picture shows the item super oversized on an asian girl most likely itll fit but the clothes that arent like that that come In one size i wouldnt bother with u less u look like the model. Lastly , its really good for accessories, skin care and some makeups , especially if u have a k shin care regimen like i do or are into k makeup. They do cary some bts themed products too. Overall i wanna say like 90%of anything i ever bought was great because i did what i said above and i love and use all the items all the time . Especially if u follow the guidelines i said , itll help u alot if ur trying to get that type of style.

In my experience, buying successfully from yesstyle means looking at REVIEWS. And especially reviews with PICTURES. Sometimes I'll take a risk and buy an item with no reviews or very few reviews after I've staked out the listing and seller 5000 times but doing so usually means I'm prepared for a less than satisfactory item and wont feel the sting so much haha.

I've gotten things from YesStyle a few times. Usually like you, if there's obvious red flags - stay away. Read Reviews !!!! If there is review please rely on them. If there aren't any it can be a gamble. But if you also scroll through the product photos and check the measurements you can usually get a better idea ! But yes, I've gotten a couple flops from there. PS I found them in 2006 ish ? YesStyle has a sister site, YesAsia for movies, tv shows and CD's from China, Japan and Korea for sure! They are very very easy to order from

I feel like the dress would look so cute if you could find a similar blouse to the ones that rabbits wear and wear it with it (maybe even with the same cream tone). I also would love to see a blue wig with it but more light blue, gary-ish like the clouds on the dress. Then maybe a matching bonnet to the blouse in that same cream. I also feel like there needs to be more poof and ruffles but I honestly don't know how to put that in.

I would not recommend yesstyle for skincare either, I tried it ones for korean skincare and it was clearly fake. Normally I order from my korean skincare straight from korea, but tried yesstyle once. Never again with the skincare. Also they have a lot of replicas of different brands in clothing which I would'nt buy that either. Only thing I maybe would buy are the lolita accessories but even then it's iffy.

If some store have fakes you shouldn't even bother "looking for real ones" because they're clearly trying to scam you anyway. It's like someone would be selling rotten apples and one of them would be fresh, still doesn't change fact all others are not eatable and selling them is morally wrong.

That's not really true. Yesstyle has a lot of deals with reputable brands. It's a wholesale site with lots of stores and sellers. You should do research on each and tske precaution just as you would with any online store

@@papkinn that's totally fair if you don't want to support a company that sells replicas among legit brands. For me researching the ingredients used in something as volatile as skincare is part of the process anyway, so brushing aside fakes comes naturally 😊 For many it's the most affordable website for getting Korean skincare, so completely dismissing them as an unviable marketplace only selling fakes and replicas isn't quite fair

I know you most likely won’t see this, but thank you for all the advice! I have no friends who dress Lolita and I’ve been wanting to branch out but it honestly can give me anxiety. There’s no where in my town, maybe even state, that sells anything like this. The closest would be hot topic or Icings. I know. It’s that rare here. 😂 so thank you. Definitely just order from other Taobao sellers! That said, I'm glad you made this video because it thoroughly explains why YesStyle just doesn't make sense/isn't easy to order from for lolita, and even for an experienced skeptical lolita (like you) it feels like a gamble if you're getting the real product with so many red flags. It's way more worth it to use a trustworthy seller and/or save up!

I’m glad you made this video. With my experience with Yes Style I feel like it’s a hit or a miss. I think it’s important to review the products you get on the site so other customers know if the product is what is shown. I’ve seen reviews where the customer didn’t get what they paid for.

I've ordered a bunch of clothes from Yesstyle. It makes up I'd say around 40% of my wardrobe lol. It's really good quality most of the time, just make sure to check the reviews. I usually stay away from items with less than 4 stars unless I'm willing to risk it. Also make sure to take your measurements and read the sizing chart since the sizes are usually smaller than in north america. I've gotten a lot of my favorite clothes from them and I'd definitely recommend them as long as you're careful

I've ordered from YesStyle several times, mostly just Korean (and Japanese) cosmetics but also some accessories and clothes. The cosmetics have always been great and high quality, but the clothes/accessories are not anything special. Some have been bad, but most of them have been just ok, decent. Except one pink coat, it's awesome and I really love it. But I agree, I wouldn't buy lolita from YesStyle either.

Such a cute coord!! 😍 I'd love to see a coord incorporating the green from the print. Green is not a color you see very often in lolita, so it would be really fun to see this dress with a green blouse or accessories. Or maybe green tights? It would also be cute with a conical hat half green and half burgundy. Maybe with bunny ears on the front since the print has rabbits? I also love circus prints/clown-lita, so I get excited about it!!! Also just wanna say I'd LOVE to see some of the stuff Holly has made... The white dress that you show for the whole blurred name part I bought and it’s actually amazing quality!! :3 I bought the blue version in a medium because the sizes are usually smaller because of Asian sizing but I really should have ordered small because I have a small waste and even with the band you tie a bow in at the back to since it in it’s still a little loose sadly but other than that it’s surprisingly good especially how cheap it was and that I got it off aliexpress

I never even heard of yestyle before this video lol but I can tell you're right not recommending it for lolitas and specially beginners. The dress is simple and cute tho. I'd love to see you styling it in ott hime with maybe a sash, a underskirt, overskirt, lots of accessories or a blouse with puffy sleeves to slightly match the bunnies on the print. You can do just so much with simple pieces like this.

I found that when shopping yesstyle it's better to shop by sellers rather then look through the whole catalog. There are some amazing high end brands on yesstyle and some cheap cheap cheap horrid ones as well. There are also brands that belong to yesstyle or are exclusively sold there. Basically it's just like any other larger marketplace. Usually you can look up a brand and know where on the quality spectrum they fall. Also following individual size charts provided in the actual listings rather then overall size charts makes a huge difference. And if the listing doesn't provide size chart for that specific item, it is usually worth it to just skip the item.

yesstyle is hit or miss. sometimes you get amazing stuff and sometimes it’s not as expected.. but just always make sure you read reviews! and because it’s korean some things won’t fit if you’re plus sized which is unfortunate but i love the clothes they sell there and most is pretty well priced!

There are a lot of sellers on Yesstyle like with Amazon. You can find crappy stuff and bootleg stuff, but you can also find decent items. Lots of people like to buy from Chuu on Yesstyle (they are more on the pricey side), but are supposedly legit). It has a large selection of items that appeal to those who wear alternative fashion when you're looking for a design that you can't find anywhere else, but I agree that it's probably not the best place to look for main pieces unless you can actually find a really good quality and well-designed item on the site. I've gotten berets, socks, some sweater vests, and skirts from the site. Overall the quality of items OBVIOUSLY isn't consistent from different sellers/shops some being meh and some being decent. But there are some decent items (like the berets and socks) that I would order again. I have a few rules that I follow when I shop on Yesstyle. Obviously if the price is too cheap to be true, it's very likely just crap. If it looks cheap and wrinkled in the product photos, it's not going to look better in person. Look for reviews ESPECIALLY WITH PHOTOS that way you're able to see what it ACTUALLY looks like. Examine photos for cheap/thin fabric. Check the materials. If anything about the product is photoshopped (like different colours) don't buy it, if it's good quality, they'll take the time to display the other colourways. If you're going to buy something cheap, go for low-contrast (bright and bold on white vs dark on dark or light on light) because the cheapness will be less noticeable.

I have bought cheap himekaji accessories through YesStyle a couple of times and have been pleased with my purchases, but I made sure to thoroughly read reviews and check sizing. I probably won’t order much from them again as I’m trying to avoid fast fashion now.

Maybe that‘s weird but I would take direct inspo from the rabbits on the dress and get a similiar white ruffly collar and blouse and also a pair of bunny ears or sth similiar and keep the rest white maybe white tights, cuffs even shoes and a few golden accessories 😌

@ 4:20 That's "Sing a Lullaby For You" by the brand Lullaby if anyone's wondering. It was a limited release and, judging from that photo, that's a replica. I'm fuming because the details in the original dress were absolutely gorgeous and the fabric they used was amazing. They're also very aware of how much their dresses are being ripped off and sold, they put warnings on all their posts and display their patent certificate just to make sure that their customers trust it's the actual store. It's heart breaking.

I HAVE THAT GINGHAM DRESS IN 3 COLORS LOL I've only ordered clothes from YesStyle a couple times and it's been a mixed bag fit-wise (but they also don't cater to my body type so shrug), but I LOVE them for Korean and Japanese cosmetics! Their prices on those products are really great and I've ordered makeup and skincare from them many times. Considering the at-times questionable quality of their clothing offerings, I think it's definitely important to stick to ordering what's highly reviewed, bonus points for listings with customer photos in the reviews. I've never seen lolita on the site before but now I'm gonna go looking for accessories >> As for coord ideas, I like how the dress has such a detailed skirt and solid construction. The plainness of the bodice immediately made me think of those blouse styles with long, pointed triangle collars to add detail there. For a more OTT look, I think a neck ruffle and a headpiece with rabbit ears to mirror the rabbits on the skirt looks really cute in my head, and maybe an underskirt to add detail beyond the hem.

There are so many ways to get cheap main prices on lm. Last night I literally won a listing on an op for like 8 dollars just because no one else had been bidding on it.
