Here is a Canon T4i Review / Canon 650D Review using Kit lens, 50mm 1.8II lens and 70-200 f/4L lens. You'll also find pictures at high ISO towards the end. It's a decent camera with lots of extra bells and whistles like touch screen, HDR mode etc.
If this lens is a bit out of your budget then Canon T3i would be a great choice. Those looking to spend a little extra can look into Canon 60D as it would give you better quality and ISO performance.

Thanks for the very helpful videos, I'm a beginner with SLR cameras, I was going to buy a Canon 650D along with the kit lens (18-55mm) so on a budget of about $2000-2500 Which camera and what lenses would you recommend? I plan on shoting mostly portraits for now.

Hi! Love your channel! It's helped me so much! I own the t4i with the kit lenses 18-55 and 55-250. The 18-55 is pretty terrible for portraits of my family. Can you recommend the lens YOU would purchase for family photos in replacement of the 18-55? Looking for the obvious blurred background, awesome photo. I have been researching the 85mm, 28-135 and my brain is on overload..hoping you can tell me the best lens! :)

Thanks for taking the time to make this video as I am looking to upgrade my 450d as low light iso is limited to 1600 and was looking at this due to the features such as in Camera HDR and Handheld Night Scene mode. Could you cover these in an upcoming video as I consider this to be the reason to chose the 650d over the 60d.

Thanks 4 the great video, I am following all your videos now. I want to buy my 1st slr. comparing the 650D with Nikon 3200 what do you suggest? Or should I save some more and get a D90 or D7000? What about 2nd hand cameras, like a D80, is that still worth looking at? I got a lot of friends using Nikon, all with different lenses, which will be a bonus when you need something specific as we can swop lenses etc. I am planning to do general photos and wildlife and nature photos.

Nice video! I am trying to decide between 60d and 650d kits. I can get the 60d with 18-135(non STM) 100 euros more than the 650d with 18-135 STM. I am an enthousiast, I own no camera right now, used to own a 550d, but cannot wait for the 60d replacement. I have read all reviews about features etc.. 60d: better grip and controls,VF,battery, body, wheel. 650d: digic5, touch screen, video AF etc. Which would you recommend? I am doing mostly stills but want to do video too. What do u recommend?

Which kit lens are you talking about? I personnally use the new 18-135 stm (which you can buy on one of the 650D kit) which provide very sharp and nice result (portait etc). I have a comlplete different experience with the 650d. Regarding the focusing point, i don't see what is difficult to push a button ideally located on the camera and turn the dial to shoes where you want to focus.

I am very new to photography... I purchased the t2i a couple months ago and was wondering if I should have a different lens beside just the kit lens to learn on? Or should I keep practicing and master the kit lens first? I love shooting kids/families, so that would be what I do the most of...

those of you that know this Canon t4i camera....would you think a sony NEX 7 might be better for an intermediate photographer who like to shoot culinary videos? I currently use a Panasonic gf 1 as my personal camera...but I cant shoot any cooking videos as it has no mic jack and this Canon and the Sony Nex 7 both have a mic jack...I appreciate any tips or suggestion to help me make the best choice on the new camera...

Hi! I am new to photography and would like to ask what camera is best for me and what lens i will need. I will mainly be shooting motion photos and I will need a fast pace click. i am on a tight budget, and new to Dslr, kindly advice me between d5200 vs t4/5i ? also i would only be using probably a prime lense and a medium zoom lense 18-105/18-135, on either of cameras. i photograph only for pleasure and enjoy it currently using superzoom camera. please give me a blunt advise, it will primarily be used for still pictures. thanks in advance

The first time I bought a DSLR I made the mistake of basing my decision solely on the rating from Consumer Reports. Back then I was looking for a mix of video and stills but a few months later Canon discontinued this model and popped out the new T5i. It's got a lot of great features but it's got problems. On video you can hear the servo grinding from the lens and the sensor has to hunt for focus points. You need better lenses and if you're new to photography then you may want to choose another model. I'm trading this one for the Nikon D7100.

On the 60D you can assign the set button I use the set button for level , would like to have both avalible to use canon need to add more custom functions to these cameras!

How could the ISO performance be any better with the 60D, it has the exact same sensor? I would expect ( other reviews I've seen seem to confirm my expectations ) that the only difference would be in the jpeg rendering, using the new image processor in the 650D. Shoot in RAW and I'll bet you money the 60D and 650D will give you identical results.

doesn't the zoom button on all canon dslr needs to be pressed first to activate desired focus points ,unless your camera allows you to dedicate a button to do this.

Also, for videographers, apparently the STM helps with autofocus while you're shooting video? Canon is coming out with an 18-55mm stm lens very soon. the STM apparently does the autofocus much more quietly. again, really only for videographers

Hi finally a smart person to ask !! you all ready said buy a 60D over a 650D so what about between 60D and a 7D? keep in mind i dont shoot sports, and im an amature this would be my first DSLR ...price of 60d v 7d, is $600 more for 7D But for get That, if thay where the same price What Should i get....??? Oh and i dont care about VIDEO.But do like to take pictures at inside events..Please anwser me as every other video from others has just confused me .. Thank You..Ps Excellent video!!!

You keep on saying, the 60D has a better ISO performance. In fact, it has not. The 650D has a newer processor in it, that is 5 times faster than the one in the 60D, so noise performance is noticeably better in the 650D.

Can you talk more about composition on a new video, im just startingwith photography i took B&W and digital photography in hgh school but you know just the basics. I try to get some prectice any time i go to places with my family but everytie they ask me how to pose i tell them to be natural and relax but i think thats not enough. It would be great if you do a video talking about all this. Thanks i learn a lot with your videos.

You need to pay 50$ more for 60d. In my country i need to pay 600% more so i can get 60d instead of 650d. so 650d is better for me.(i'm a beginner)

Im looking to buy my first DSLR and am completely lost by the amount of choice ive narrowed it down to three and I cant make up my mind. im looking at the D3200, D5100 and T4i.
